I was referred to Boyd by my insurance company after a minor collision, and every single person I dealt with at this location was fantastic. They know their stuff, they're professional, pleasant, and do what they promise. I received calls at every stage to let me know what was happening and what to expect, and when things changed they let me know and followed through. Not part of my rating, but it was really nice to see a woman involved in the shop, not just on the phones (though the woman on the phones was lovely). They even vacuumed and washed my car!

I highly recommend this business! I experienced a hit and run on my vehicle but it seemed like the damage was less than the delectable. My driver side front bumper popped out and was expecting to pay for their service. They fixed it and I was satisfied with what they ve done. In their eyes it was not perfect and went above and beyond to fix it up a bit more until they were satisfied with it. Right when all said and done they have given me a discounted price on the job! I will definitely go back and give them my business and recommend this business to my friends and family.

I requested a copy of my estimate when I dropped my car off for a quote on hail damage. I provided my information at drop off, called later that day and a couple days later. Provided my email 3 times and requested it be sent to me and my insurance. I got a notification from my insurance that they got the estimate. When I called Boyd, I was told it was already submitted and therefore locked. They could not send me a copy.

I asked that they lock my key in my car and put it in a specific spot. They had to call and have me explain how to lock the key in the car, then didn t put the key in the spot I requested.

So be careful, cause they clearly don t listen to your requests.

I brought my car to Boyd after being in an accident. My insurance recommended this shop and it has been an ongoing process. Tong was great, very personable and willing to help- however, when they fixed my car I noticed my headlights were not working. I took it back there and was told by the manager (believe his name was Steven) and said my headlights were no longer working and seemed like they were loose. He refused to admit there was an issue because "your lights were working when we gave you back the car." When I contacted my insurance they told me to bring it into a dealership and pay out of pocket for an assessment and if it was boyd's fault, they would cover the dealership work. After waiting almost 3 weeks for an appointment with the dealership they immediately looked at it and said the headlights were not installed correctly. This is what I had said to Boyd when I went back; they have a lifetime guarantee when they do their work but refused to actually admit any fault. How can someone guarantee their work, but refuse to admit faults. I will not be going to boyd for any future work because their work was not done correctly and rather than trying to alleviate the issue, I was told they did nothing wrong. Completely disappointing and ongoing issue when I had mentioned the issue they completely ignored it and dismissed my comments. If you want to be mansplained and ignored, then by all means, take your car here. But if you want quality work... I would take your car elsewhere.

I would HIGHLY recommend Boyd Autobody & Glass. They were unbelievably good to me and made my car look as good as new after my accident (literally you can t even tell it was damaged!). I was very new to this process and confused as hell and they were so patient with helping me understand it and making It much easier on me. So appreciated.

I recently had my Honda Odyssey in for a scratch repair which required some minor paint refinishing. My experience with the front counter person was excellent, she was very friendly and provided more than one call to update me on the status of the repair. The manager Scott was also very professional and treated me as a valued customer from the initial quote through to final payment and delivery of my vehicle. The actual repair itself was done very well, the scratch is completely gone, and I can not tell where the new paint was applied, seamless paint refinish to be sure.

The only small critiques I would give would be having slightly later opening hours and performing a much more thorough final detail of the repaired area.

Opening hours of 8AM to 5PM make drop off and pickup tricky for anybody also working these hours. An extension of even half an hour would be helpful. Although the repair itself was excellent, the final detail afterward could have been a little better. I could clearly see where masking tape had been applied then removed, and the door jamb was speckled with what looked like polishing compound. I keep my vehicle very clean, almost to a fault, so most of this gripe has more to do with my high standards than a reflection of their workmanship.

That said, I would still highly recommend this shop to anybody looking for top notch customer service and body repair.

Went here for an estimate, by the time I received the quote I had gotten 4 others from competitors the same day I went in, and had the repairs completed for a better price. Was forced to make an appointment for the appraisal, but most other shops are happy to take walk ins. They didn't appear busy at the time. They don't seem to value your time, so honestly I'd suggest you look elsewhere. Woodridge All Makes Collision or Fix Auto Calgary Coachworks nearby have both been friendly and reliable to me for my auto body needs.

Edit: Boyd has said in their response below that the General Manager had contacted me. In the interest of full disclosure, this is true she did reply to my complaint but only to say "Thanks for the feedback." My recommendation stands on that basis.
