Great hotel with an excellent view. Bew and Blanca were excellent hosts, making sure I was taken care of throughout my stay. Roxanne Cafe is a great place to go if you want to grab a bite, it's walking distance with a good menu if you're not from the area and need something better priced. The Trader Joes and CVS is a small walk but you can get a few things to tide you over. Overall, excellent stay

So far our stay has been pretty good. The staff have been welcoming and check-in was quick and easy. Booked a king bay view room that's on the 22nd floor. The room is clean, and the bed is comfortable. The bathroom is very nice with a separate shower and tub. The view from the window is pretty sweet and great for watching the 4th of July fireworks.

Had a trip planned with 2 nights staying here. 3days before we were supposed to check in we got a call saying they were closed. Nothing like sticking it to a customer. Now we have to hopefully find another place to stay. Don't take someone's money if your closed.

The Fairmont is quite the site as you approach the building, you cannot help but think you are stepping into a piece of history of San Francisco. The staff are incredibly nice and eager to help. The rooms are of good size and I haven't stayed in one that didn't have a nice view. Overall the hotel is very elegant and every stay has been memorable (in a good way)

Historic and gorgeous, the Fairmont Hotel on top on Nob Hill in San Francisco is among the world's top business event venues. Every single staff member is exceptional at what they do. The catering and bar service likewise.

Great hotel during the Christmas holiday. They completely redo the lobby with a giant xmas tree and life size gingerbread house. However, because of this the lobby gets very hectic and crowded. The hotel location is ideal and near Union square. There are two different trolly stops outside the hotel that can quickly get you to Fisherman's Wharf and other attractions. The rooms are good size , very clean and comfortable.

Vintage building and great setting. But expensive and tired hotel. Poor value for money. Interminable wait for a room on check-in. Rooms draughty and dated. No free WiFi. Breakfast v expensive and limited. Very poor compared to - for example - Hotel Drisco.

I visited the Fairmont for a wedding. Between the ceremony and the reception we were in the court yard and it was extremely nice. The design, lay out and feel were amazing. The view you could see Coit tower, transamerica building and parts of the bay.

The drinks were so-so. Nothing special really.

Went to the Tonga Room for happy hour drinks. Tonga room is fun. Classic place in San Francisco with lots of history. Only downer is that the drinks are very pricey. It gets crowded fast so we arrived before it opened at 5pm.

I remember when I was kid this place was 5 stars. It's really run down. The outside elevator doesn't work any more. The restaurant food was mediocre at best and our waiter was impatient. I won't be going back. :(

I came here to pick up a car from their Hertz counter. The lady seemed nice and the process was smooth. Note that you cannot drop the car here, you would have to go to a different hertz center.

I like the lobby bar. It's a bit outdated with cheap painted walls but it kind of adds to up he 'Old Classic SF feel'. Also my chair vibrated when the dishwasher was running and the bill was high. But other than that I still like to come here once and a while :)

We stopped by here because we were visiting an attraction in the area. This location was nice and had great service. Everyone was friendly compared to New York, where people aren't as openly nice. We tasted some courtesy water, infused with friends, which was refreshing after coming walking around these SF streets. Liked the place. Would recommend

Love the decor. Fabulous lobby and facade on approach. The rooms do not disappoint with obvious attention to detail in the interior design. Only 3-stars for the stay as the AC was not working in the room. There were issues with the facilities as well (Toilet would not flush due to it running continuously). Would stay there again as one data point does not equal a trend!

Stayed in the Fairmont San Francisco for 4 nights. The hotel is located in Nob hill which is in my opinion the best area to stay if you want to explore and if you want to experience the nostalgic feeling of the famous tv-show 'Hotel' from the eighties. Really loved the classic interior of the room, the service, restaurant and the photo gallery on the ground floor.

Tonga room is great in the sense it's a themed tiki bar, but it's full of awkward loud people. It's great to take visiting friends to as it's a sight you wouldn't expect to be in a basement next convention center rooms..but it's mainly filled with people visiting that convention from out of town.

Only visited the Tonga Bar, didn't stay in the hotel. The hotel was very fancy from what I saw. The Tonga Bar was rad as hell, it rained indoors! Very cool. Drinks were interesting, pretty strong. Did not eat the food but wanted to.

Unforgettable experience at hotel ! It had very nice location and had the aweasome service! Walking in the corridors and strolling to see these pictures with the long interesting history won't take too much time. Drinking some wines and watching some interesting videos at midnight will let u have the nice date! Although it was not cheap it has the great viewing windows to enjoy the morning of a day. Besides don't forget to take the breakfast at first floor. It was great as well !!

Amazing! This hotel is so much fun. The food is great, the Tonga room has great drinks. The service is unbelievable I cannot describe how much they truly care about the customer! I have visited here multiple times and never experienced such good service in the city. Great place to stay and I can t wait to visit again. A fun time with a lot of history.
