If you never want to get help, use Codan insurance. Worst company I've gone to. Has a case with an iPhone that has a broken screen. This was sent to Mobylife which Codan uses. This company went bankrupt before we filed the phone. So we called Codan several times to hear how this resolves further. Was told several times that the caseworker should call. Has never been called by the caseworker. Must call yourself and listen to them. Finally they ask me to contact the mail and find the phone. The mail is helpful and sends it back quickly. So now I have at least the phone, but have paid 4000, - in deduction for something that was never fixed and a lot of time wasted (about 2 months) laziness on Codan's part. While they may be a bit cheaper, pay a little more for quality. Will NEVER become a customer with you again. Poor follow-up and service. You have some nice people too.

So I have Kasko + with motor, driveline and electronics insurance. It's an expensive insurance policy. When I got engine problems with the car there was NO help to get, they found a lot of excuses that this was not covered OSV. I thought yes they are probably right, but a few weeks later I had problems with the door locks on the car ie electronics which must be covered, but here ALSO they slunk away by saying all sorts of weird things that this does not cover because of .. bla bla bla! STAY AWAY FROM CODAN !!

Where to start. They have no order in the accounts at all. ONLY mess with the invoices every ONLY month. In some months, invoices have been received at two-week intervals. I'm sure I've paid a lot more than what I'm going to get because of their clutter. When you call saying that a previously insured car has appeared on the invoice (again), and is told to delete that bill when they are sending a new one, you delete the invoice in the online bank pending a new .... But receives collection and notification from tff that your car is uninsured. You call and ask what the FAEN is, and receive a payment history that does not match invoices received and paid into the online bank. No then I end up ...

We had a water leak in a semi-detached house. The neighbor had exactly the same damage and identical basement. received much better claims settlement from his insurance company Dnb. Codan spent 10 months making a settlement, claims manager was negative to everything and denied any objection to injury. Only when the appraiser said otherwise did they turn around. Then demanded that I take cash settlement, which I lost a lot of because it was obviously much more expensive than the tariff even. Terrible company and customer care. Steer away.

Don't know where to start !! mess from day 1 when I insured my car with you. at first it was the wrong price / also it was the person who gave the price had quit the job etc ... is it customer's problem then ?? Terribly poor customer service. Was billed for termination insurance ?? something i had paid every month ?? As a person: I don't like blackmailing any businesses online, but billing of theirs rotates many times over time something you have to take in-house.

Miserable follow-up in after time. Mail ended up in the spambox and not so much as a wanted ad besides it.

Receives an error message when logging on to the website (even when allowing a bunch of 3rd party cookies). No phone calls for travel insurance, and no other inquiries. Extremely junk business, steer clear.

Was a customer for just under a year. The last six months I received a slew of bills on the same insurance, up to four per month. Also received several purrings. This went on for over 6 months. After three months, I contacted Codan by mail because I did not understand how I could get a cleanup when I knew I had paid every month. Received little help in the matter.

Finally I called and heard that Codan was aware of the problem, but they waived all responsibility and felt that this was only Visma's case. As a customer, I thought it should be reasonable to expect information from the insurance company in such a case, since after all I was their customer, not Visma's. Codan regretted, but personally I think such disclaimer says its about customer service and reliability. One requires a somewhat better relationship with his insurance company than that.

This is a very bad company, the service is value like zero. Without any other account notification / reminder, they terminate the insurance. This is abnormal and I think it is illegal! I suggested to the owner of the company to find out what employees work, they do not know how to communicate with customers! I do not recommend it to others.!

If you read through the reviews you quickly realize that this is a company you should stay far away from, even if they try to save themselves by paying for TV commercials. Do yourself a favor and use a proper insurance company.

I am currently on holiday with a preexisting condi...

I am currently on holiday with a preexisting condition that worsened while here in the US.

I went to the doctors and he attempted to treat it medically. Codan wanted a diagnosis so I pushed the doctor here for one. He made referrals for an evaluation by a physical therapist, and to have xrays done. The doctor in the US thinks I have possible nerve damage. And that this pain I'm feeling now is unrelated to the preexisting condition I already have.

The doctor for codan didn't have my medical records from Norway nor did he have the diagnosis from the doctor in the US. Becuase they flat out denied the referrals to get xrays and see the fisio expert; But somehow he determined that I was good to fly. Which I find to be unethical.

Mind you they were asking for a diagnosis from the US doctor from the beginning. I pushed for what they asked for, just for them to deny the referrals after the fact.

They did offer to upgrade my pre booked ticket back to Norway, however I dont feel I should fly out until I have a diagnosis from the doctor here. For it was the flight here to the US that caused this pain to exasperate.

I told them I would pay for my ticket back if I could get a diagnosis from this doctor in the US so he could determine a course of treatment to mitigate the pain, and to clear me to fly back home to Norway; But that would mean codan would have to pay. They flat out denied me. How could they make a determination without having no information?

So now I am forced to take 20+ hour flight back to Norway without a diagnosis or a way to mitigate the pain. Thanks a bunch Codan for pinning me into a corner.

Wouldnt it be in my best interest to know what's going on and find out if I could be cleared to fly back?

12 years I have had travel insurance and this is the first time I have ever used it. This is how they treat thier customers with a legitimate concern and issue.

Trust me I'd rather spend my time enjoying my holiday with family than going to see a doctor and taking meds in pain.

This insurance gives no damn about the the welfare of their customers that pay their premiums. 100% disappointed!!!!

Uff da! Do you as an insurance company even I experienced to disagree very much with you when I had injury. I stopped by this page to find out about boat insurance (and already have a lot of insurance there)
when I stumbled upon the reviews. Here it was not much positive to track and is now considering whether I dare to insure the boat with you or whether I should change company.

They said it was for "privacy reasons", but that's just slander. As if the telephone is somewhat more secure than the internet. Who does not have a web strategy in 2020? Long story short, I managed to log in with bankid and buy the insurance from Gjensidige with a simple form of the ten minutes the chat lasted.

I recommend you, dear review reader, to do the same, minus the chat then, even if they are nice to prospective customers.

Here, one tries best to fill out a submitted injury form.
For fear of doing something wrong and losing all the work you have done with this, you just want to guard against everything being deleted ...

Has sent you an email, and called, and stated account number to customer advisor when you did not have it.
Sent new email, no response. Has also not received a claim number.
Now we start soon in the third week, and have not received a penny again.

This is too bad, it's about a thousand, which we really need to get.
So really hope this is cleared up soon.
