Went to Club Med La Plagne, France in 2019. Everything was going well - the rooms were great, the food amazing, the entertainment varied and good for all ages. I had a problem with my passport and had to stay on. The hotel offered me an extra 2 days for an agreed verbal fee of 160 Euros total with the reception manager. Club Med didn't give me a contract. They showed no price on any electrical equipment when paying. I was informed their computer wasn't working so had to be processed in the back office.

A few weeks later I checked my statement and discovered Club Med charged me 1060 Euros! Despite notifying them, Club Med refused to back down. During the complaint procedure, that lasted about 9 months, Club Med got my gender wrong and even thought I lived in France! Their administration is shocking.

In the end, Mastercard (thank heavens that I paid for the holiday by credit card!) had to threaten legal action / arbitration with Club Med. Only then did they back down after a lengthy wait.

I will never book a Club Med holiday again.

Disgusting service. Going in the face of the industry and the law, they continue to refuse to refund us our holiday. They could have kept me as a rebooking customer for next year (and years after) if they had given me control of money, but instead they have done everything to avoid a refund. Crooks.

I will never use them again and recommend the same to anybody i meet.

Very poor form by Club Med. Following the recent lockdown of ski resorts - rather than honouring the terms and conditions of the contract we as customers signed up to when booking our holiday - they have refused to issue any refunds (instead a credit note which is worthless to my family or rest of my group). Not legal or what I would expect from a company hoping to retain its customer base after pandemic subsides

Club Med customer service is awful. They are a dishonest company who are acting unlawfully by denying people refunds. Their service when I last visited was also very poor. IF YOU HAVENT BOOKED, DONT BOOK WITH CLUB MED.

This company has handled the C19 epidemic appallin...

This company has handled the C19 epidemic appallingly. Our group of 6 skiers are still waiting for a March refund (holiday cancelled the night before travel, found out via web site!) Their customer service is understaffed and attempts to charge back via credit card are declined. Only 2 out of our party of 6 have been contacted about refund arrangements, with promises of refunds that haven't happened.

We were due to go to Club Med Arcs Panorama on 5th April but they cancelled holiday due to COVID-19. The law states that they must provide a full cash refund, however, they are refusing to give us one and only offering a credit refund to be used for against a holiday for next year. We've explained that this is not suitable for us and we would like our full cash refund. They've stopped communicating and the travel agent isn't able to offer much assistance either. This is unlawful. You can only judge how good a company truly is from how it behaves when things go wrong. I would think twice or completely avoid booking any holidays with them

Booked a ski holiday for the end of jan and so exc...

Booked a ski holiday for the end of jan and so excited to go after hearing the good reviews.
Firstly I had to ask for my flight reference number so i could check in online and book seats. Alas the extra legroom had been sold out already.
As a previous ski rep for la plagne i know that when you buy a 6 day lift pass you recieve a free 1/2 ski pass for the previous day and as i paid extra to arrive earlier thought this would be available and after several emails all of which have had bad communication with have been told they cannot sell 1/ 2 passes so I have said that I'll be going g yo the lift pass office to see if they can help it's kind of dampened my excitement
