Rooms with a great view, try to make spontaneous early check in possible. Drinks cost a little more. Very friendly staff. Great pool with a small sauna.

Will give Marriott credit for trying something new. With MOXY they re going for hip, a low touch hotel model that s more hostel than hotel. The branding to attract millennials is trying too hard in my opinion (see photos). For someone looking for function before form I wouldn t recommend.

Additionally this hotel is two miles away from anything - and I mean ANYTHING! Perhaps in a few years and if I somehow get back to my late teens/20s I ll try again, but seriously doubt the brand will make it.

Really cool and trendy hotel. We got a room with an awesome view of the shipyard. However, I'd say this place is not for families. The room didn't have a closet and a safe. It was small for us as we were with a baby and needed more room. However, the decor is awesome and very trendy. The people are nice. It's far from the city center so we had to rely on Uber although there's a bus that goes to city center from here. I would rather stay in the city center instead of staying here - but it's a cool place to stay and a little cheaper also

Let this chain, go. The whole concept is out of wack. You have to wait to be checked in because the front desk is also connected to the bar, so they have to check people in and take food orders and drinks.

The service and communication sucks, I requested a 4pm check out as a gold member and have been interrupted 4x at this current moment to be asked about housekeeping.

There are no phone in the room and they don't have integration with the Marriott app, so if you need anything brought to your room you have to go allllllll the way downstairs to get it. For them to be too busy to remember to bring it up. There is no pass long, so when do go downstairs again to as for something, they're shocked you've been waiting so long.

Early check in, smh-- i don't even want to get into my experience with that, smh.

Also, it's far from the main Amsterdam area. I'm happy to leave.

Hotel very clean and very beautiful, the fact that it is recent gives a very modern and pop cachet, ideal for couples and young people. The reception bar is open h24, the gym, the pool are great, and the rooms have a very stylish view of the docks.

I have mixed feelings about my stay at this hotel ... The interior of the lobby and our hotel room could not be faulted; it was modern, clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast was tasty and there was more than enough (international) choice. A disadvantage for my travel companion (whose English is not optimal) is that the entire hotel staff spoke English and could not speak Dutch. In addition, the receptionist said that there were no stairs and that guests were forced to take the elevator to their room. For people with claustrophobia (myself in this case) this is definitely not pleasant. It gave me a very uncomfortable and unsafe feeling. I found out that there was indeed a stairwell (the emergency exit) but that people were not allowed to use it (so not even with valid exceptions). My last disadvantage was that loud music was played 24/7 in the lobby. Although the music style (electronic dance music) was not my taste, I can always appreciate background music. However, not on a high volume setting late in the evening when I am tired or during breakfast at half past eight in the morning when I am just awake. The volume was so loud during my stay that the reception staff had to shout to make themselves audible. All in all it was unfortunately not the great experience I had hoped for ...

Accomodation and meeting rooms were great. Air-conditioning in the rooms was interesting as it allowed a + - 3 degree change so room took a long time to cool down. Lunch room nearly two hours to arrive and all we ordered were flat breads. If we had been in a rush rather than just hungry then the rating would have been lower

Fantastic welcome cocktail. :) Room is good, neat stuff and interior. Good bed. Good view, even though I had explicitly booked a room without a view. What would it be like when you book with harbor view? Bar and lounge looks cozy. Have used the bar. We received an unsolicited discount because my friend casually dropped that he thought my cocktail was a bit sour. We thought that was great. There are free lockers for luggage after checkout. Free gym and wellness but no use.

Problem was with deposit, I almost misaed my flight couldnt reach publix transport I had to take taxy and lost 100 euro deposit unfortunately.. but moxy is nice structure band, with nice view... specially if you are seaman

I'm not gonna lie the beginning of our 7 night stay was rough. After traveling for 21 hours we get to our room and the bathroom smelled so foul. Even though me and my wife wanted to just go to sleep we asked to be moved to another room. The front desk agent was very rude and stuck us in a room 2 doors down. The bathroom in that room smelled very foul as well. We stuck with it for that night and the next night I went and asked for yet another room. Unlike the first night, the front desk agent was very kind and helpful. She moved us to a new room that was great smelling and also gave me a free chocolate bar and 2 free drinks from the bar for our troubles. After the first awful day of service everything was fantastic. Everyone I talked to other than the desk agent the first night was very kind and extremely helpful. Krystal is particular was very awesome. If it wouldn't have been for the rude lady the first night I would have given 5 stars.

Good Entrance, nice personal. But little misstakes by the check in. But After that, it was good. Maybe Place a bigger shield to rent a bike ;).

We really enjoyed our stay here, close to the center, good transportation and staff is very friendly! Cocktails are amazing, food is really good too!

Big lobby and father, very good service. The only bad thing about the hotel is that it is a bit far from the center on foot, by car it is only 10 - 15 min.

Hip new hotel with friendly staff. A bit out of the way but the bus gets you to/from Centraal quickly.

So, here is the deal. It's clean, it's hip, the staff is awesome, the views are pretty great. Music is usually pumping in the lobby making it feel pretty fun. This hotel clearly caters to the millennial crowd, which is apparent with just about every decision they made. The location, while not horrible, is a 50 minute walk or a 10 dollar uber from the central train station. Yes, you can ride bikes, yes you can take a bus, but if location is important, this is not the hotel for you.

Beautiful quaint boutique hotel! Really welcoming and friendly staff. We had a really great time in Amsterdam and would recommend this hotel any day!

Nice hotel, quiet location. By bus you can get to the center quickly. Polite staff. Very clean rooms and pool. I missed a closet in the room and you have to deposit 50 euros per person .. I did not know, then had too little money for the holiday.

It's fine. Comfortable, clean and warm. Good breakfast, too. Didn't try the other amenities.
