We can strongly recommend Clarkson A/C. They not only know their business but also stand behind their work. After one year we had a major failure of our new A/C system. Technically we were out of labor warranty period but Mr Clarkson made the major repair and did not charge us for it. Honorable!

Excellent sales, service and installation of new H...

Excellent sales, service and installation of new HVAC system. Installation techs were professional, efficient, and knew exactly what they were doing. Explained new system functions and answered all of our questions. They cleaned up after themselves to perfection. Company owner came by a few days later to see if we had any additional questions, and to check how the new system was working. This was really a very pleasant project from start to finish. We would recommend Clarkson & Company to anyone needing HVAC service , repair or new systems.

We do most of our own work at the ranch, so installing a new name brand mini-split system was not outside of our wheel house. When we were ready to charge this new system in our guest home, we were warned that the manufacturer would not warranty the system unless a licensed tech charged the system. A quick look on U-Tube convinced me. We were also warned that most places would not charge/service DIY installed systems, but Clarkson did not hesitate. They came to the ranch when agreed, and they worked until the job was done. That's saying a lot because almost all of the manufacturer's factory flairs were problematic and needed re-flairing, and that was difficult in that some were inside the walls or underground. I never asked, but I suspect that Clarkson routinely double flairs all its installs because they told us that they knew of this issue, and you can't find leaks until the full system is evacuated.
A month or two later we had Clarkson come to our main house and upgrade thermostats and service our 4 AC/heat pump systems. A couple of units needed a touch of Freon, and we really notice the improvement. We are now on a maintenance plan with Clarkson, and while we still like to do our own work, we are leaving the AC's to the professionals at Clarkson.

Family-owned, clean excellent work with young and hard-working technicians. They provided cloth coverings throughout my house to keep things clean and undamaged. They replaced ducts, drains and electrical to make it look sharp! They also surprised me with a beautiful touch screen thermostat that I love.

Selling my home and needed to service/evaluate the HVAC system quickly based on Home Inspector feedback. Got me on the schedule within a couple days, called before they came as I had requested and provided excellent service. Mark was knowledgeable, included additional comments specific to Home Inspection findings at my request and was very helpful! Recommend highly!!

I ve used Clarkson for years at all of my rental p...

I ve used Clarkson for years at all of my rental properties in Marble Falls and I have never been so upset with their service, lack of communication and disrespectful attitude from the office. Any time I need them to service a unit, Mark has been pleasant and given me a call before he comes out and after he knows the issue to let me know the cost and see if I want the work performed and then they stay in contact with me to let me know when the work is being done. This last experience I had with them was nothing like that. Mark came out and called me and let me know that the unit needed a small part. I asked if he could pull it from another unit and he said no he had to order it. And then I never heard back from them. A few days later my renter called upset because they showed up a few days before unannounced and woke her and her newborn and toddler up and she didn t have her dogs put up. She told me they came and installed the new part but needed yet another part and were ordering it and she was just checking in to see when they were coming back. I told her I never heard from them about any of that and she said she was surprised because they said they would call me, and they usually do. No one from Clarkson ever called me back to let me know what the issue was or that they came and replaced the first part or that they needed to order a second. So I called them the following week to find out if they did indeed need a part and Susie in the office was snarky and used a rude tone with me. When I asked if a second part had been ordered she was rude and acted inconvenienced, as if I was supposed to know it without any communication from them. I asked when I should expect for it to be in and she laughed at me and told me We will call you when it comes in Nicole . So I then asked if I could just let my renters know some sort of frame of reference so that they could have heat, would it be in a week or a month? She then with a very rude tone told me, oh no I would imagine that it would be some time in the next few days but I don t know the shipping schedule , again as if I was supposed to know or that I was some sort of pest done asking. After being spoken to so rudely with my questions that should have been addressed by proper communication the first time and being laughed at and told to just sit tight and expect their call, they showed up a second time, unannounced! They never let me know what parts were being ordered and how much they were or let me know when they were going to get the work done. And after a second angry call from an upset renter with another no call arrival, a $700 bill just for the initial visit, and work done without my knowledge or consent, I can guarantee you that I will not be using this company ever again. And it looks as though I m not the only one experiencing the same exact issues with the office staff according to the other reviews. Very unfortunate.

I have used Clarkson for a number of years.

I have used Clarkson for a number of years.
They have always shown up when they said they would.
We recently needed to replace our 24 yr old A/C.
They installed the new unit, removed the old unit and left
our place cleaner than when they came. The Workmen are very
knowledgeable work hard to do the job right.
Service is as important as the equipment.

Great people; quality service! Clarkson and Company was recommended to me by another business in the area, and I have been very pleased with him and his service. Mr Clarkson met with me personally to provide an initial evaluation and estimate. He could not have been any nicer or more helpful as we were deciding on a new A/C unit, handler, as well as duct work repairs. He was very thorough in his assessment of our needs and offered suggestions based on our true needs, not just selling us the most expensive equipment. He and his crew were punctual and considerate. They placed mats down to ensure that they did not track dirt into our home and cleaned up well after themselves. They even replaced an old vent screen on their own accord and without charge. Although more materials were needed than originally estimated with the duct work, Mr Clarkson stayed true to the original estimate and did not charge us any more than what he had told us. I respect his values, work ethic, and honesty, and I would highly recommend him to others in the area.

We have been a customer of Clarkson & Company for over 20 yrs. Recently, we encountered a very complex situation with our air conditioning system. Our original air conditioning system was installed by another local air conditioning company during construction of our new home. Robert's experience and research, helped us to make the right decisions to complete the job.

Clarkson & Company has always responded to "emergency calls"
during the hot summer months. Kudos to Robert and his team of experts.
They know what they are doing!!

Clarkson & Co. has always been very punctual, thorough, efficient and personable in our dealings with them. Nobody does it better.

As has always been our experience with Clarkson & Co, Kathryn was very helpful and personable in setting up the appointment. Likewise, Mike followed his usual pattern of arriving promptly during which, in this year's new twist, he carefully observed all of the recommended COVID-19 precautions. He continued doing that while expeditiously performing the detailed and appropriate inspections and making the necessary repairs, all at what we consider a quite reasonable cost. Our dealings with Clarkson & Co might be characterized as "personable" and "professional" from start to finish. While Mike and Kathryn no doubt set that table, we can describe our dealings with all Clarkson & Co personnel in the same manner.

I have used Clarkson and Company for years to provide my heating and cooling requirements, and they are the best by far at what they do. Their office calls ahead to confirm scheduled appointments, and their technician calls when in route. He always arrives on time with a big smile on his face, and of most importance, he knows what he's doing. American Standard is a quality piece of equipment, and Clarkson and company is a quality organization.

I called to schedule an ac service and the receptionist was rude. She told me they couldn't do it this week, and then when I asked about the following week she said they were too busy to do it. It was definitely disappointing as we have used this company both at my office and residence in the past. We won't be using them again.

My home is 13 years old and I started to have problems with my old Carrier A/C that was installed when the house was built. The last failure of the Carrier prompted a need for its replacement. Mr. Clarkson came out and explained the cost in fixing my old A/C with the option of replacing it with a new American Standard AC and expanding the existing return air flow which was inadequate. I solicited other bids for a new A/C and Mr. Clarkson's bid was very competitive. So I chose to go with a new American Standard variable speed A/C. This technology saves energy and reduces my operating cost when compared to a traditional single speed compressor A/C. On the morning of the install Mr. Clarkson was there along with his crew and got things started. Micheal led the install team and all members were knowledgeable , efficient and very respectful. They kept me apprised during the day as to their progress. Install was finished late afternoon and Michael instructed me on the new features of the A/C along with setting up the optional web interface. At the end of the day all the old carrier equipment was removed and the floors and stairs to the attic were cleaned. Mr. Clarkson called me after the install and checked on the AC and ensured everything was running and answered any questions I had. I am very pleased with the experience dealing with his company, his employees and my new American Standard A/C. I would highly recommend them whether you need A/C work done or a new unit..

My A/C quit on a Friday at 6:30 pm and it was 90 degrees outside. I first contacted another company that had "24/7 emergency repairs" on their web site. Their 1st available slot wasn't available til Tuesday, so much for emergency repairs, clearly don't understand their job or care about customers.

So I called Clarkson and Company and got a quick call back from Mark. I didn't need service that night and Mark committed to give me the first slot on Saturday. Saturday morning, Mark called when he was on the road. He had the problem fixed in less than 45 min. Now I know who to call if I have a problem in the future. Thank you Mark and Clarkson & Company.

I needed A/C service late on a Friday afternoon and found out that my A/C man had just retired. I called Clarkson & Company and was told that next appt avail was Monday. I explained my predicament and was told that they'd try to direct a team that afternoon. Within an hour I got a call asking for directions. The team arrived at normal quitting time and got my A/C up and running. The team was friendly, professional and efficient. Sharing this event with friends and neighbors in the area indicated that their experiences with Clarkson & Company were superlative. Clarkson & Company will have all my A/C business in the future.

Their technicians are very knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and take pride in their work. Good advice as to what equipment to install. Professional installation at time and date promised. I have not had much need for AC/Heating work in the past but have always been well treated by this local company when I needed help.
