I had engine noise in my car which was my concern. They took the car on test drive themself didn't take me though I could've show them .. at the end they didn't fix my issue. Did my change my filter for aircondition and engine filter. They.. had me Kathy as my service advisor but she left when I met another advisor she wasn't really helping me all she was saying I didn't know anything. About your car but Kathy knows!

Sales people including sales manager are not knowledgeable about the inventory they keep. They lied to me and invited me to come to showroom to look at the vehicle they don't carry and wasted my three hours on such a busy day. When I arrived they showed me different vehicle and wouldn't gi e me price and asked me to go somewhere else to buy the vehicle. Very annoyed at blatant lies they all told me.
Would have given negative five rating if there were. Will report to BBB.

People don't go there and waste your time. The only reason I'm giving one star because they don't have negative stars. Very bad experience. I spend five hours still they didn't make any deal. Manager of the faculty is pretty arrogant. They offer very low trade in compare to other dealers.

My first visit to City Cadillac couldn't have gone better: I was given a friendly welcome, made comfortable while the car was being serviced, and kept informed all the way through by the highly professional staff.. One caution: This newcomer had trouble finding the service department, as you have to turn onto a road that looks as if it leads to an asphalt plant that was abandoned during the Great Depression. But keep going, and you'll be glad you didn't give up.

I was greeted by very friendly, professional staff members when I walked into the dealership and I felt that they helped me get the best deal possible for a new car in my budget. This dealership was very clean, well decorated and the salesman I worked with was ready with all my paperwork that I filled out online prior to my arrival. I highly recommend City Cadillac to anyone in NYC looking for a new car!

Sales rep. Rick Eichner is very knowledgeable and patient person. I would definitely leave a 5 star for him But I would definitely avoid the finance folks. Specially Ken, he s Just an awful person. While I went the next day to get some paper works regarding how much was the car costing me. He made me sit for 30 mins, told he was going to gather the paperwork s, but never returned. Then when I went to check, this guy has the nerve to tell me He just came in and I have to wait, which I found very rude and unprofessional. Then He tried to sell me a loan at 5.99% even though my Experian credit score at 864. Did get the car but financed it through another bank at 3.00%. I m stunned that at these level and places these people find a heaven for work. I spent $85K on that 2019 GMC !!! Only reason I made the purchase from city was due to the sales person and him being courteous.

When I went to City Cadillac I was unsure of what make/model that I wanted. They answered all of my questions with patience and let me drive three different cars while I made my mind-up. Unfortunately, City Cadillac was sold out of the exact color combination car that I picked. They assured me that wasn't a problem since they located the car out of state. Two days later they had a perfectly detailed CT5 at the dealership ready for me. The salespeople and managers were able to answer all of my questions and wanted me to be happy with my purchase. The Finance Manager had me approved in minutes and slowly and clearly explained everything as he went along. From start-to-finish it was an awesome experience!

This is the third dealership service that is a big disappointment. This is the place I got my car but I will never go back. No rental car- supposedly/ - on. Monday morning even though my repair was about to take 2 weeks.. I had other car brands before and the service never restricted the rental to buyers from that place only like GM does. I had to call service advisor multiple times to get updates. Misinformation about car being ready, then it said car ready- I get there , wait 1 h.. nope, car not ready , sorry, tomorrow.. but will give you a rental now .. after I drove 2 h there.. had to go back another 2 h, still empty handed. I am a physician and 4 h of my time counts.. All I get is sorry .. low standard, lack of honesty, disinterested..A high end car service should have a totally different attitude

After a long time of shopping I finally ended up at City Cadi. Love the 2018 Cert Cadi that I purchased on Fri 2-8-18. Dan Keys was very friendly and by no means pushy at all. Finance lady(name escapes me) was excellent and just as friendly. Aside from a few minor issues , which the service advisor said they will do their best to resolve, all was well. We'll see if all goes well otherwise this rating will definitely be revisited. I have confidence though. No reason to think otherwise. Keep up the good work. UPDATE 3/9/19= Well when I got my car back for the minor issues, it came back exactly as it went in. I'm thinking its a Cadillac defect. I was contacted by the customer service rep and explained my dismay and was encouraged to bring it back. I will eventually but the $12 toll makes it a hassle. And as for the OnStar ppl. ..... Terrible ! Trying to get info out of them on my free 3 month trial is like pulling teeth. Just nonsense. I will leave the 5 star rating because its really not the dealerships fault. I do like the car although its not a real Cadillac of recent years.(pre 2013)

One of the horrible place where they have wasted my time. I walked in and Latisha greeted me as she was hanging out at the front. Latisha couldnt help me because she said she was busy meanwhile she was just hanging out. I waited for someone to be available to assist me. I waited about 30 mins and then i see that someone pointed out to me that i need help and Latisha decided to help me. She asked many millions of question and going nowhere. Then she took my key that i want to trade and gone for another 30 mins. I couldn't deal with this place. Once i received my key and walked out. Will never return.

Great experience of my First Cadillac Escalade luxury 2020 with Rick Eichner. I got great deal. I felt like I wasn't manipulated into buying what they wanted me to buy but instead was made to feel comfortable to get something that met my needs and wants. The transaction was smooth....everything they said they'd deliver was delivered upon.Great commitment and services. Highly recommend to visit this dealership first going to another place.

Recently, I brought my Escalade into City Cadillac of Long Island City for body repairs. I absolutely couldn t believe the service I received.
From the moment I contacted the service center, they put me right at ease. They immediately opened up a slot on that day to get me in for an estimate.
When I went down I was personally greeted by John one of the managers. Also on hand was Paul the auto body estimator. The team couldn t have been was courteous, professional and thorough. They worked very quickly. Not sure I had finished my coffee from their lounge before they had finished the preliminary work. I was given an estimate that was realistic for the damage to the car. All line items were explained for the cost of repairs. Most importantly they gave an accurate time for repairs.
To my surprised I was offered a comparable well equipped loaner to use during repairs. It was all gassed up detailed and ready to go.
The in processing was as smooth and effortless as anyone could imagine.
During the repairs, I was encouraged to check in to see how the repairs were progressing. I couldn t have been more impressed. They were able to tell me when parts were coming in and being installed on the vehicle.
When it was time to pick up the car whalah my caddy looked like the one I got off the showroom. Job was perfect! In addition the car had been washed and detailed with that new showroom smell.
This was just an absolute miracle finding the guys at City Cadillac GMC and Buick. They go above and beyond for their customers. I can understand why they have been in business for over 25 years and keep growing. You will have a customer for life. Thank you again!

Horrible experience 3 out of 4 of my tire sensors ...

Horrible experience 3 out of 4 of my tire sensors were functionable when I took it to get serviced only for them to return my vehicle with none of them working and give me a puzzled look. My car malfunction all on its own then right. Also they are the only dealership that I've dealt with since my trip from Florida and the service dept at the other dealer pointed out some damage that was done to my oil pan. They did manage to fix a throttle sensor and Park assist but charge me to fix my cruise control only for it to malfunction weeks later. It's still give me problems going on whenever it feels like it even though I'm pressing the button.Just recently my check engine light came on and thank god Potamkin didn't charge me for the diagnostics because they felt bad it had something to do with the cruise control. Also I was told I needed rear brakes soon when my tires were practically still in good shape, my rear tires are worn now but my brakes are fine. If I were you I would be getting my work done elsewhere. So far Potamkin hasn't given me any reason to doubt there quality of service though there is much work to be done. Only time will tell if I don't have to waste and 4 grand on nothing.

3 hours waiting for an oil change. This is my second visit, first was 2 hours. Let your customers know how long the wait is. Watching technicians come in and out the waiting room for coffee explains the lag in service.

If only there were a no start option. This dealership re-iterated why a lot of people don't like going to the dealership. I took a drive with my wife through a snow storm, keeping our appointment commitment, to trade in our current car for a Escalade ESV lease. They valued our car @ $3k. We were so baffled we stood up to walk out and the Manager John approached us and offered $10k for our car. To make such a drastic change from $3k to $10k just showed that they took us for fools. We walked out, went to BMW of Greenwich and traded in our car for $12k for an 2020 X7.

I have a brand new 2020 Cadillac Escalade . I scheduled a service at this location with a loaner . When I got there, they said they had no loaner for me . I mentioned I needed a loaner 4 days prior making the appointment because I drive to my office for work. The receptionist that made my appointment was certain I will get a loaner car while mine was being serviced . My car was making a funny sound and as I was driving the sound got louder . When they didn t want to help me, I asked to speak to the service dept manager. I was told his on vacation .i left with my car with out any work done to it and called Pepe Cadillac in white plains who immediately got me loaner and got my car into service. DO NOT SHOP OR SERVICE YOUR VEHICLE AT THIS PLACE . STAFF IS NOT RESPONSIBLE AND MANAGEMENT DOESNT SEEM TO CARE , BECAUSE IVE HAD ISSUES MORE THEN ONCE AT THIS LOCATION .

Owner emailed me , about this issue and I did make a appointment, they did tell me I will have a loner . My appointment was at 8am not 530pm. Even if it was 530 pm which it wasn t why couldn t city Cadillac take my car early give me the loaner as discussed and take care of my car in the evening . I TRAVEL FROM ASTORIA TO PEPE CADILLAC , THEY HAVE BEEN GREAT TO ME THIS YEAR !!

I had a really great experience here. I didn t give it five stars because nothing is perfect and there is always room for improvement but this was a great place to purchase a new vehicle.

I went to other Cadillac dealers and was treated ok but they didn t really sit with me or try to work any deals. They just said Ok here are the numbers, let me know if we can work something out .

City attracted me with their low internet pricing. I browsed their website and said that I was interested in a particular vehicle and to contact me. Within minutes I received a text asking if it was ok to contact me further. I then received a phone call maybe 5 minutes after and started to deal with someone over the phone. Within 20 minutes of my first inquiry I had an appointment for my Wife and I set for the next morning. I m from New Jersey so it took a lot for me to be lured into driving to Queens to look at a car but City enticed me with their pricing and friendly customer service over the phone.

We arrived for our appointment and were greeted as we walked into the dealership. We were immediately paired with our salesman JESUS. He already had an idea and the vehicle ID numbers of what we were interested in. He asked some pertinent questions and had 3 different models with different trim levels to show us. This made it so easy for us to narrow down and decide on the vehicle. We then went for a test drive and were able to see the car in all it s glory while on the road.

We got back and asked for numbers on the car we liked. He came back and gave us fantastic numbers and even helped us secure discounts as my wife s employer is eligible for GM suppliers discounts. (YESSSSS!!) Jesus was a warm salesman interested in making sure our needs were met. Not just pushing whatever car they had on the lot onto us like so many other dealers do. He negotiated even better numbers for us after we saw the original offer and thought we could do better. We settled on the deal and we started the purchase process. After all was said and done we drove off in our brand new Cadillac XT6 and we are thrilled.

I will say this. City is a working mans no frills dealership on Northern Blvd in Queens. I ve been to much nicer places that have better optics and seen a little more luxurious. However the level of service I received combined with their aggressive pricing and willingness to make a deal that works for you the customer is what would have me going back there again or sending a friend or family member there to purchase a new vehicle. The only other issue was it took a long time for me to finally drive away. That s because there were so many people getting into new vehicles that there was a wait for the finance team to finish their deals.

Thank You to City Cadillac, but mostly to Jesus!

I want to be fair. I am in the automotive service business for 40 years. I know customer service and how difficult it is to please everyone. My ordeal with City Cadillac is too long to script. I will say that the experience was so awful that Cadillac themselves sent me a $500.00 gift certificate. The sole reason for going to the dealership was because of an expensive warranty repair. Otherwise, I would have had my shop handle it as it does my maintenance. City Cadillac seems to have no understanding of customer relations and thus retention. I know that I will never return!

I said I wanted to be fair. The only shining light that I came in contact with was Kevin, my service advisor. As for the rest, no one had a clue. Very sad for the flagship of General Motors.

Terrible scam artist, they claimed I installed an after market part. The customer came back to my shop claiming that it wasn't an original gm part. I showed the customer the receipt from a REPUTABLE GMC DEALERSHIP and we are handling the problem. That is a complete lie!!!
The sales rep repeatedly confirmed that we where focussing on the LUXURY trim ESCALADE ESV and even gave me the stock# of that very specific suv. I have never asked to change anything and all i wanted is what what offered me in the price that was offered to me. I have the recording of that conversation and will gladly share it to prove you are a group of liars!!!! I did end up getting that same luxury trim esv from a different dealer a week later at Paul Conte Cadillac who gave great service and pricing.

i gave them my credit card after wasting a day with their sales man Jean after price was locked in for a specific car "in stock" when they all of a sudden came back and changed the entire price and said it would cost a few hundred $ more per month with larger down payment. Complete scam!!! On top of that they then said the car that was being quoted to me was already sold a few days ago and was already delivered(thats after talking about a specific car over 5 hours) but regardless they said the would not honor the price agreed upon.
