Very nice , not so expensive. Close to the public transport.

Decent hotel for the price. I don't like the rooms but was prepared for it and happy. The TV never works in the room... Either you can't get the channels to play or the sound is out of sync. I've stayed there twice and both times had this problem. It's good that they provide water in the room

Very small room, poor buffet breakfast you only had a small piece of cake as a sweet piece and savory sandwiches. As sausages there was only the sliced turkey with two types of cheese. Disappointment!
The cleaning of the room after the first night was not the best, they could do a thousand times better!

This hotel is mainly focused to guests who travel and have a transit at Amsterdam airport. This hotel is located very close to Amsterdam airport and I happen to stay here couple of times on my visit to Netherlands. The rooms are fully automated. The tv, lights, ac, music and almost everything is controlled by smart living which has remote to control everything. The rooms are very compact and it serves the purpose of the stay. The budget of the hotel is kind of ok and the food served was good and affordable.

Nice, separate hotel. All rooms are the same, so nothing to choose. Good bed, toilet and (rain) shower in the same room. Lighting, TV, curtains can be operated with an iPad. Breakfast is great. Tip: become a citizenM member to get a better room rate.

Great hotel, lovely rooms, modern, stylish etc. Let down slightly by they fact their system messed up the bookings if every single 1 of us, so there was a long winded process to get it fixed. Other than that though, great

Beautiful rooms, rainfall shower, giant bed and the mood pad (iPad) to arrange everything in the room. Combined with the high hospitality, this is definitely recommended!

I don't understand which authority given 4 star. No refrigerator and electric kettle in room no coffee or tea in room or free in lobby. Room is like hell small with toilet and shower in room with glass cover and wash basin in room. Staff is good breakfast is ok as per 4 star but price is high

Good location with an awesome concept. Rooms have exactly what a city hopper needs. Public transportation at walking distance, bringing you to the city center or to the central station.

CitizenM hotel is sleek, modern, and high tech. The hotel is very helpful with information and advice for travelers. The staff is super friendly. The rooms are small and there is no seperate rooms or privacy for the shower or toilet. The space is used very efficiently. The rooms are very modern and high tech. Every room gets an iPad with smart room controls, including mood lights, music and free movies. The beds are huge and really comfortable. I would definitely come back.

A quaint affordable eclectic place to stay. Enjoy the well stocked bar and light eatery in the lobby. The rooms are a bit small but cozy and modern. Have fun tuning your room to your liking via mood lights. Thanks for the excellent service.

Fantastic staff, good connections to city center and airport

Food is average, but very convenient. Free on demand movies! Funky rooms. Catering to singles and couples, but the staff is very nice to kids as well.

Nice hotel to work, it is a good location and easy reachable by train and car. The wifi is good. The rooms are great, I loved the led lights in the shower and toilet. Also the possibilty to wake up loud or just relaxt...luxury in a different but good way!

The location is perfect if you're doing anything near the convention center or south college. The rooms are a little snug, but the layout is perfect for one or two people. Everyone there has been really fantastic, and service has been helpful and prompt.

Very Cool hotel with some of the most amazing staff

Excellent hotel located 15 minutes away from center city by bike or 25 minutes by subway. The hotel is extremely clean and very stylish. The rooms are very high-tech and genuinely feels like a "smart room". Beds are huge and comfortable, and the staff is excellent as well. Be sure to ask to borrow a bike from them during your stay. All of this for a genuinely good price! It's a little far from the touristic stuff, but it's right next to the Zuid train station, so access is easy. Would definitely recommend for single people or couples!

A WAOUH room exactly as we imagined. Huge and very comfortable bed!

A walk-through shower in the middle of the bedroom which is very sensual, the toilets next to it, but it is possible to close the curtains between the bedroom and the bathroom.

For the shower water to activate, you just have to close the shower doors, it's a safety

Using the iPad tablet at our disposal, we have the possibility to regulate the lights of the room and the shower ... the temperature of the room .... adjust the blinds ....
So there is a wide choice of movies, TV and radio channels to watch for free on TV by zipping on this tablet!

Very cool and clean rooms, friendly staff, affordable extras, and a really nice breakfast buffet. We especially loved the eco-warrior option (get 10 vouchers instead of replacing towels every day).

The CitizenM hotel in Amsterdam is not just a hotel, it's a place that feels like home. Even if you're not staying in the hotel as a tourist it is a great place to work or meet people. Use the free wi-fi, plug your laptop in and start working. The ambiance in the hotel is inspiring, the employees are kind and helfull and the design is amazing.

Rooms are rather small but well designed. Only share with people you are intimate with as there's no privacy as bathroom isn't separated. Great movie and TV shows selection available for free.

Clean well organised stylish room no street noise..a short tram ride to city center ..late night bus stop a bit of a walk

Had a great a stay here. Great atmosphere and service. Rooms well funky. Very relaxing in room and also lots of relaxing communal areas. Great team who work here. They really make you feel at home. Very nice bar and good available.

Domotic rooms in a very modern hotel with a different concept

Room extremely small. Toilet in the same room. No closet no space for suitcases. We were two. That was no pleasure. Price / performance does not fit.

Great wee hotel, quiet area, uber fast check in, staff were all fantastic, rooms are quirky, menu is minimal, all in all it's a good quiet wee hotel.

Funky and nice. Only problem at the moment is road works for accsss. Only a temporary problem though!

Interesting place. I had probably the smallest room in the hotel. Reminded me of a futuristic living space when the earth dies and we have to live in cubicles. Very convenient though, easy access to the train, plane and buses.

Great hotel situated just outside Amsterdams busy city centre. It's in walking distance of Amsterdam Zuid station, and around the corner you got a few tram connections who will take you to the centre in a matter of minutes. The hotel is very accommodating and has a nice design feel to it. The staff is nice and they serve great coffee.

Trying too hard to be hip, leaving essentials behind such as a good breakfast, suitcase stand, etc. Too expensive for what it offers. Not horrible either though.

Very modern hotel. Everything perfectly clean and extremely friendly staff. However, the fairly small room lacks a cupboard (only a bed drawer) and an iron.

Small rooms, but very nicely designed. However, I think the newer CitizenM hotels have done better with room layout. Here, the toilet basically faces the room. A little odd. Otherwise the staff is super helpful and friendly, and the public areas are large, modern, and were never crowded when I was there.

Nice hotel. Rooms have a bizarre yet fun toilet and shower tube arrangement. Bed was massive and all films were free. Decent breakfast too. If you want breakfast book with your room as its 17.50 a pop. Reduced if you pay in advance when you check in.

5 star experience at an affordable price. Stayed there for an entire week and it was perfect.

Oh dear, we like Citizen M but this was the first hotel, the room design was ill thought out, no where to put clothes or your wash bag/makeup. Staff very dismissive of our complaints about a cold room until we persisted, it was not fixed while we were there. On a better note good cocktails and Martha was ace.

Extremely grateful for the accommodating staff who went out of their way to ease my unfortunate experience of auto theft where I had parked. Staff went above and beyond to help coordinate police communication and repair options for me.

Crime can happen anywhere, so this review is not to bash the location of the hotel Private hotel parking with security cameras would be encouraged by the majority of customers at any city hotel.

The hotel was really clean and modern. The room was good, but you don't have a lot of space for your stuff, which is fine when you just stay for a few days, but I wouldn't recommend staying longer. We arrived at the Central Station and it was really easy to get to the hotel from there.

The staff are fantastic...always with a smile and very polite. Rooms are a little different from the ordinary but our experience was good. They only need tea making facilities in the room and I would be very happy. You can hire a bike just 5 minutes away using an app...no deposit needed.

Used this hotel as a place to do some work during the day. They have a great work space and actively offer this space to non-residents (whilst kindly pointing out that residents (rightfully!) have first option). Friendly staff, good coffee and pleasant decor. Only bug would be that background music is a tad loud, but this isn't really an issue!

Great base to discover Amsterdam. Hotel is clean and tidy. Our package included breakfast which was a buffet service. Food was fresh and had a reasonable selection.
Room was a bit on the small side but good enough to for putting your head down at night. All in all a good experience.

This is such a great place to stay! The breakfast is delicious and the room was perfect.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely amazing, all of the staff from the cleaners to the reception and bar staff were all very kind and friendly. The staff left a birthday card, chocolate, waffles and cava in our room for my partner's 21st which was a very nice gesture and greatly appreciated. We were able to check in super early, about 11am which was a life saver. The hotel is only one train stop away from the airport and 2 tickets were only 8 Euros. The rooms were lovely and modern and the smart room features were fun to play with and a great convenience. You can reach all of the main sights with ease from the hotel by using the nearby trams and metro, for which I would recommend getting a one or two day pass as it works out cheaper. The only complaint I have is that they don't have an on sight gym but instead offer you a discount for a nearby one but at 10 Euros per day it was still a tad pricey.

Well executed modern and technically advanced low cost hotel. However, very small rooms without separate toilet shower rooms. Shower and toilet are in "glass cubicles" in the main room. Huge and comfy beds are a plus.

Very modern hotel with a nice atmosphere. Will definitely come back next time we come to Amsterdam!
