Circus Circus Reno Review

Circus Circus was a lot of fun for the whole family. The midway was super and hopefully next time we can catch a live circus act. There was something for the whole family. The parking was simple and just across the street. The dining terrace had so many choices and we were hungry. The food was delicious. There was even shopping to pick up souvenirs. I can't wait to visit again. #LetsGuide

all of the games are rigged and your kids will probably be vert upset when they dont win :(

If you have children this can be a great place a little spendy it might teach your children how to gamble but it's good for adults if you like to gamble

I reserved a suite and upon arrival the bathroom was dirty hair, t paper in floor, and urine stain near toilet seeing how it was nearly one in the morning I waited to tell the maid service in the morning. When I woke up the maid was going around she came to my room she changed the towels in the bathroom and clean nothing else. I called the maid service and told him I needed my bathroom clean my send somebody up hours later who changed the toilet paper and folded it and never couldn't the floor this happened two more times until finally I called her manager and they send someone up and they did a mediocre job of cleaning the floor for the 5 days I was there they never came into the my room and made my bed or change the bedding until finally on the fifth day after complaining several days in a row I got a manager to have someone clean the room the maids are not there to clean the room they just come in change your towels and say they cleaned this is a very disgusting practice

The acrobats were okay, but I like the excitement of the flying trapeze better

We always stay here when we in Reno. Rooms are always clean and the beds are comfortable! Room service was amazing I was nervous about a $12 salad but it was well worth it. Delicious and so big I shared with my husband and still have leftovers!

Just stopped by for a day of playing with my kiddos. On a Monday, looked pretty slow but yay for that. My children got to walk around the food court, and the games/ arcade section without a fuss. My toddler got his walks in too with out being pushed around. I definitely noticed the cleanliness of the new set up. I think the carpet was holding to all the cigarette smell.

Great location, close to everything. Have many restaurant and hotel options. Great gaming also.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff. Confrence rooms are nice.

My son and I really enjoy the Midway and I bring friends from out of town there as well. They have games, face painting, and circus type acts. Definitely worth a visit but it's pretty crowded.

The kids had fun playing the games... Well the adults did. For the kids. Lol

Though the overall experience at circus circus and adjoining hotels is fun, it definitely has it's pit falls. Restaurant staff is typically very friendly, but other staff, including that of the "midway" kids area, tend to be highly temperamental. In addition, parents allow their kids to run wild. It's as if they forget the fact that they is a casino downstairs and just focus on the fact that the hotel is meant to be family friendly.... Or are more focused on wanting to have fun themselves. Though there is not much snow in Reno itself, there are a lot of great snow parks in surrounding areas, so a short drive brings that option as well.

Lots of drunk people and no respect for other people.

Had a room on the top floor with a beautiful view of the city. Without a reservation they were able to accommodate my spur of the moment trip.

Place is a Circus. Enjoyable, for a light and sound assault that it is. A bit off-putting walking through seeing kids and next to them adults drinking and smoking. A throw back to old days, for those of us who remember. If you have kids, this place will keep them busy, but probably wear on you. Gaming options for adults are plenty and the skywalk leads to the other Row casinos. Food options are more than the other casinos because they have a food court for kids tastes. A range of food available, for decent prices (Reno casino prices). Catch a deal online and you could save enough to earn a comp through your players club card.

I had a great time during my visit. El Jefe and Yogurt Beach were both pretty awesome, in terms of both service and food.

I had a good time with my family..Not completely kid friendly.

It's amazing and it is American and Mexican food really good service and fast

Very nice stay, only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because we had a big issue with the tv working right.

This was our first stay at Circus, Circus in Reno. Check-in went great and the employee that helped us was top notch. At first glance, the room seemed clean. Upon closer inspection, we found that the bathroom floor had hair and dirt from previous people. The bottom sheet on our bed also had a large stain. The food court is convenient with its different options. In the future, we would not stay at Circus, Circus again.

We've had a great stay so far. Easy off the freeway and close parking (4th floor has the skyway walk), clean and comfortable rooms/beds, fun games for the kids and decent food. We will return.

This was my third time coming to Circus Circus and it is an awesome experience and I will return soon.

Creat place for kids to hang out and play games. The circus was awesome. Gives a little me time for parents too.

Recently(last weekend) stayed at the circus in Vegas, and the Reno Circus Circus is way way better!! From the rooms ,food, service, valet..the only thing Vegas Circus Circus has is the gift shops. Otherwise , Reno is hands down the winner!!

Stayed here Sept 7th and was very pleased with everything about this hotel. The rooms were large and clean. The rooms my son and his wife had and mine that was across the hall had great views. The front desk and other personnel were very helpful, friendly and courteous. I have nothing negative to say about our stay. Would stay there again.

Great service; clean, large room; nice casino and arcade; decent good options.
Disappointing gym and pool - neither of which I used because of the lack of weights and $25 fee respectively.

RENO IS NOT THE SAME ANYMORE NOTHING BUT MACHINE BUT,THEY STILL HAVE THE SHOW

They're always fun, inexpensive and perfect for families. The buffet in el Dorado is amazing if you're hungry. The gift shops are fun, if a little pricey, but the hotels are clean the staff is polite, housekeeping is punctual and friendly.

This doesn't even deserve one star. Had I done better research we would of stayed else where! Once we arrived we checked in went up to our room only to find out that we were giving a king accessible room without being told or even asked if it was ok by the receptionist. We went back down only to be told that they had no other king bedrooms and could move into a queen which I thought fine we paid for a king but will deal with it. Then what I thought was so unprofessional was that when I asked the receptionist about room service she couldn't even tell me how much the fee would be. How do you work here and not even know a general idea about fees in the hotel. Instead she told me to check your room. So I thought whatever I'm not gonna let that ruin our small trip. We get to the room only to then realize they don't even have a microwave. Like really for $120?? I could have gotten something x10 better with some much more included for the price. As were in the room you could smell traces of weed from the hallway and even in the elevator (we were in a non smoking level). Then I was taking a shower and the water for the drainage system in the tub was not draining properly so I was taking a bath and shower, and that's not to say all night I could hear the sink draining water from who knows where. As I'm trying to disregard this mess in hopes to having a good weekend as planned the next morning was the cherry on top to a horrible weekend outing. As I ordered breakfast from room service (pricing is to high for the food quality you get) I went over the total because something seemed off about it. What wasn't on the room service brochure is that they charge you automatically a gratitude fee without telling you. I was fumed because they didn't bother to ask or tell me (mind you were not trying to be cheap) but 2 breakfast plates with drinks not included close to $50? That's beyond me and quite frankly very deceiving to your customers. I then spoke with manager Nori and she was so sure it was on the brochure when it wasn't. At that point I was just gonna cancel the order but in not losing out on our business she adjusted the amount. Though they still messed up the order! All in all by far the worst places I have ever stayed at and will never again book here for I will surely pass down my horrible experience with my family, friends, via social media, and especially my military families that way they can avoid the headache we went through this past weekend.

A fun and an enjoyable place to bring the whole family, and reasonable prices on the rooms there as well.

Did not stay at the hotel. We were there for our daughter to check out the arcade and games. In the past, the free circus acts were actually very good. Presently, the stage area has shrunken and seems to be more games (Guess they want to make more money off of kids as well!). Seems like the casino area has grown. It's a way to entertain the kids while parents gamble, I guess.

We love to gamble here. But this time we brought the kids. We had picked circus circus because we knew there was stuff for kids to do there. However, there was nowhere to sit while the kids played. You have to follow them around because there is no place to watch them while you relax. Made it very difficult. Also the games are stupid expensive. Lower the prices a little and put in some seating for the parents!

Loved the room service. A vintage hotel that could use some renovation and updating but where else can you walk around with a drink while your kids go crazy on candy and games. Expect to spend a fortune for dollar store toys but the shows are pretty amazing, especially for being free. The kids had a lot of fun.

We choose circus circus because my father was rush here for emergency surgery. The tv don t work call front deck about it was told they r working on it but my sister was 3 doors down and hers worked just fine. Try for a hour and 30 min to get a players card needless to say I still don t have one

Our room was clean, large and well appointed. The casino was great and the drinks were readily available. I loved how the three casinos are connected.

Rooms were updated and very clean. Quite a bit different than a few years ago. Price was about right but I was only on my way through and stayed just 8 hours, but I was happy with the room and service.

The electricity was going out almost our whole 3 day stay Last December.

Great place to bring your kids. Circus show every 15 to 20 mins, short and sweet. Machines works without kinks most of the time.

Clean comfortable room, polite staff. Lots for kids to do however it gets pricey in a hurry. The bellhop service is wonderful. The reception desk person I worked with directed me to park in a garage of theirs that is rented out to the university for housing, so I had to go find another place to park, knowledge of the current status is key, and lacking in this case.

I have a love/hate relationship with this place. I've been coming here since I was a child, so I have many fond memories from when my parents used to come and gamble and us kids would hangout for hours in the Midway. However, as an adult, I can honestly say that this place has gone down hill over the years, mostly because it is ALWAYS understaffed - especially Sundays-Thursdays. The average person should expect to spend about $100 an hour to hangout here between gambling and drinking, and the place is just not cool enough for that kind of price tag. Bottom line: sorry, it's just not worth it. I choose to stay here, but we gamble elsewhere.

We have stayed in Circus Circus before but this was the first time we decided to stay in the North Tower. The room is much nicer and the elevators are right next to the check-in area in the lobby. My kids like the arcade area. They have nice games for them to play for fun. They also have games where they can win points to get prizes. We love the lunch and dinner buffets in El Dorado and Silver Legacy. They have a Starbucks at Silver Legacy and El Dorado which is great because my kids like their danishes. We enjoyed our stay and we look forward to staying at Circus Circus in the North Tower again.

Weekends are normally crowded. Walking into the building you're normally greeted with smoke from nearby patrons gambling.
But other than the obvious It's relatively clean. The amenities are nice and well-kept and the room's are clean and up to date.

I love to come here when is the winter .i had a lots of fun . I went with my beautiful family. On our way to circus circus we stop in Lake Tahoe. There was so much snow my brothers and I started to play snow ball fight. It was very dangerous to be driving at that time we went because on the road there was snow.

Whenever we go to Reno we always try and stay here at circus circus

Stayed for 2 nights in the North Tower mini suite with my wife and kids. Room was clean and maybe even remodeled recently. Staff was nice and front desk even asked me what floor I preferred to be on. Great stay, would stay again

Only one problem: went to the Food Court at the Circus Circus, and the Panda Express was closed! It was only 9:00 PM! How can you possibly decide that closing your business at 9:00 PM on Christmas Eve is the right thing to do? Extremely dissatisfied with the Panda Express!

This place attracts the wrong crowd, the kind that would threaten the dealers, if you know what I mean. Feel bad for the dealers to have to deal with it, but it also makes other customers bounce.

I was disappointed the arcade and games weren't open this morning. It looks like a really fun place. I got to see homeless people in the empty seats

They ruined it. Came expecting the greatest arcade of all time.

Midway is a great place to play carnival games and has a reasonably priced arcade

Be wary of hotel reception ... we came in late and reception talked us into taking a room in the old section (non-tower) The non-tower room waa old and tired we had to go back to reception to get a room in the tower. In the span of 5 minutes they gave away our king bed in the tower so we had to settle for two queen beds in the tower to have any view at all. The renovations are fine but don t get caught being sold a room in the old section at Circus Circus the tower is much nicer.

Rude manager they got mad because we left the room little dirty we bagged up the garbage ourselves even offered to clean the room I have a medical device implanted inside me they put me upstairs I can barely walk and he said it doesn't matter if someone having problems walking up and down your stairs.
I hate this place will never come again I have major injuries and they acted so rude and banned us from the hotel acting like we damaged their rooms when the maid had to clean.

Midway experience kids were excited and impressed by the shows. We won pretty big which was great, but the choice selection from lowest to highest could have been more diverse in the 1000-3000 range.

This has ALWAYS been one of my favorite places to go especially as a kid.

Nice place... always something to do there. Great area for kids... but make sure they have plenty of money to play the games and eat... it s not cheap!

OK rooms, might be a good stop of you have kids. Tried to play some slots this week during SCI convention. Machines were tighter than a clam with lock jaw. Wanted to just rent a movie.. that didnt work either. Stay with the kids on the mezzanine and play games.. cheaper and more entertaining.

Nice staff, and the room was pleasant. It's a pain getting from the car park with a suitcase as we had to use the escalator. Most odd.

I would like to give it a zero stars because the room that I got was dirty the walls were splashed with coffee all over

I always loved going here. The carnival style games on the midway offer kids a chance to win all sorts of goodies and toys. There are Circus shows every 30 minutes in the center. Three different casinos are accessible from inside; Circus Circus, Silver Baron and Eldorado. There are some very good bars and food options. Piezzetta is one of my favorites and offers hand crafted, personalized pizzas. Rooms are clean and the decor is circus themed. The staff is always friendly. They even helped us get a full refund when my Dad got sick and we had to leave early.

We had several issues with our room (holes in the sheets, plumbing probs, and more). They were somewhat responsive. They also split our rooms between floors even though we booked months in advance. Nevermind all the weird clown stuff.

Its great place to entertain the family and to gamble i just feel like its time to update the casino as a whole

This FAMILY casino supported the 2019 Santa crawl. Children were everyone and witnessed one spectacular display of two Santa's dragging another that was so incapacitated he couldn't walk on his own, as security guards followed the three of them. That was FUN explaining that one to my daughter!

The arcade was incredibly pricy at a starting fee of $10 for credit to win prizes. It was very tightly packed with carnival games and with people jammed in, my daughter was SLAPPED HARD in the back by some man playing the spinner machine. Such a joyus and merry time!

Our stay at CircusCircus in Reno was awesome as usual! We come down from Seattle 2 or 3 times a year. As always the rooms are clean and fresh . The staff is professional and always great. We love to stay at CircusCircus and will keep coming back!

I absolutely positively love this place. I grew up going here and as an adult still love this place. The cinnamon us acts seemed to be much better when u was a kid. I really miss the motor cycle act with the motorcycles driving inside the metal sphere. But it fun for or both kids and adults. The circus games are a bit 3xpensive so parents are reluctant to let kids play the many games they have available

Haven't been here in 10 years. It looks way better now. Came here for lunch and didn't know what to pick because they had so many options. After I was done eating I played in the arcade.

Great family arcade with amazing acrobatic performances every half hour. Had a good selection of places to eat. Enjoyed it very much.

My favorite place in reno! Amazing service. Amazing servers. Great good. Kid friendly, ALSO stroller friendly! Love circus circus! My kids love it to! Awesome slots! My husband loves the tables here! We had so much fun. Everyone is super nice and helpful. Rooms are pretty good in pricing. Beds are nice, room view isn't bad either!

It's much smaller than the original in Las Vegas, but IMO just as enjoyable. It's connected to a few other hotel/casino's and collectively known as "The Row." It's a fun place to stay and explore. The food at the bakery is really good. Just don't go if you're on a diet! Yikes! You could binge eat for days!

The kids have so much fun and I love that the food court isn't inflated in price! We all have a good time!

Very clean. Nice updated room. However better signage would be great as to where things are at. Maybe a directory through out the casino would be great.

We stayed here because of the pricing and convenient location. The room stank like smoke and BO when we got in. The location and pricing was nice but the rooms were not clean or even odor free.

Amazing casino and super family friendly! My daughter had a wonderful time in the children's "fun/game" area! They also made it more convenient by giving you swipe cards instead of having to carry around exact change all of the time. We will definitely be back. Thanks for the wonderful experience!!
