I just spent a day there and loved it. Central location, rate was fine, room is large, lots of dining options (price is fine, too) and you don't even need to go outside on a street, everything is linked by bridges/walkways between buildings, it's connected to Eldorado casino nearby it, for example.
The view out of the window is also nice.
It's a great place to take kids with their midway and arcade. Easy access off Virginia Street and you can stay at CC and play there and at the Silver Legacy without ever stepping outside.
Another great Casino in Reno. It's like a gorgeous mini Las Vegas. Lucky for us we stayed in the Eldorado that had easy access to Circus Circus and the Silver Legacy. Circus Circus was a blast. A must visit for those that enjoy a casino experience. Lots of games for all to enjoy in my opinion at least.
Its horribly expensive! They don't have any more circus shows and did I mention ridiculously overpriced?!
Thank you for responding. Unfortunately I dont see myself or my family going there anymore. Being born and raised in Reno, it's sad to see how badly these casinos and arcades have deteriorated to the point, only tourists go, because they don't know any better. That's one of the main reasons casinos in Northern Nevada are losing the locals interest.

Fun atmosphere. They have an arcade like section for kids and the traditional casino as well. Circus theme is pervasive throughout. Additionally, there are some monorail shuttles that will take you to and from the hotel, which was a fun novelty add.
I work for a carnival and it was a good experience to see and play the carnival games
Stayed couple nights in one of the towers, had no problems.
Rooms were nice and seemed recently updated. The circus show was fun for the kids. The shuttle was out of service and there could have been more dining options.

I'm from the bay area my wife travels to Reno often for business she had to go for a week so we loaded up our 1 year old daughter and headed up. I figured I would take a vacation and play with my kid. The whole family had a ball the accommodations were nice enough for a family stay nothing fancy but clean and nice. The arcade was fun for us over and over, lots of kids having a good time from her age up to mine taking my kid to breakfast and lunch just us was a treat at every restaurant the host/hostesses and servers were awesome almost overly accommodating to a new dad they all made our stay easy and fun!
We liked the room and shower, but the toilet was in a terrible location. If any one tried to get in the bathroom when you were there a they could kneecap you. There was only one inch between the edge of the door and the toilet. Also you have to really reach around to get the toilet paper. The bed was good, but the pillows were harder then I like. We would have liked another chair, but otherwise liked everything in the room. A picture on the wall was in a weird place. We liked the shower, although it was a couple of inches too low. The shampoo was great. The hotel room is non-smoking, but to get from there to a restaurant or conference room, you have to go through the casino, which is way too smokey for me.
Had fun walk around with friends and running into old friends.
Rooms are nice. Casino is big. Great place for kids to play games and watch circus acts. Weekends are better to go even though prices drop pretty low mid week.

Definitely disappointed after our visit to Circus Circus. Midway closed until after 1pm (no games, no performers) no drinks (margarita stand closed) or food available (had to go to ElDorado to get lunch).
Newly remodeled rooms. Much cleaner than it used to be. Plenty for kids to do. Although I don't know why you'd take kids to Reno.
My niece loved the Midway, there were lots of fun games for her to try.
Needs some updating. Room cleanliness was so so. Staff was very helpful and accommodating
The worst service ever . For real I call to all the costumer who really had a bad experience, to be a one team vs. circus circus legally... They just treat us very very rude just because my husband fall asleep for a couple minutes after play for hours.. not even the homeless are treating like that... They are so very racist, the lady on the front desk said to us kind of intimate mode to follow what ever the security said.. just because we was asking someone questions. Really someone needs to to let they know that we are customers ,we pay for the service we are paying to nothing Free.. and we just deserve all customers to be treated with respect ... To much to said and to many things to complain. Contact me please we can set up something really ...
Very nice accommodations. Covered access to three casinos, all three using same club card. Makes for generous comps and earning play . Large number of restaurants and food court. Good prices, however, slot machines seem very tight for payouts.
Rooms are large and clean. The nearby buffet selection is great with quality food. The arcade was fun with the kids.
I've been coming here for a few decades now. And will continue to, I love the Row.

Their rooms are nicer than a few years back. Beds are comfy. Prices are reasonable. Friendly people working there! Will visit again soon.
Renovated play area with a new food court. Free circus performance for everyone but down-sized. Kids enjoy this place.
Since their remodel of the food court and the arcade I have enjoyed bringing my children to Circus Circus. We often visit Habit Burger and make a night of it by letting the kids run crazy in the arcade.

Only giving one star because zero isn't an option. Was told the room I booked 6 weeks ago was no longer available. Was given a queen room when I requested a king. Got changed to a king room and the AC wasn't working. Decided to stay somewhere else.
Love this place. Took my teenage granddaughter. We played arcade games, shopped and then had steak and lobster. The food was AMAZING. We had a great time.
I love to go to Circus Circus Reno. I stay for free. We have a great time! We always get to see a good show!
The circus is great but the whole building is dirty and even the non-smoking rooms smell strongly of cigarette smoke. Like many places in Reno, this place is in dire need of upgrades.
Took our son here so he could have some fun. It was clean and not super smokey. There are circus acts in the middle of the games. Very entertaining.

HORRIBLE I went to the jefe's club where my friend got drunk i took her to the bathroom and the Security Guard came in and opened the stall Forced us to buy a hotel room and when i asked to call a Ride SHE THREATENED TO ARREST ME IF I LEFT THE BUILDING at which point she grabbed my friend by the arm and took her all the way to hotel reservations where she told her she had to stay in the hotel to which we were forced to pay 200$ to sleep there when i told her i didn't have the money she then again THREATENED TO ARREST ME forcing me to use all the money i had left to stay there for 4 hours before having to be checked out ! I called to report and was Denied my refund even though i Was forced against my will to stay. when in fact i was sober and my friend was the only drunk one. The security officer manger refused to take me seriously even though my friend has a bruise where the officer held her the entire time. DO NOT GO HERE I PROMISE IT WAS ONE OF THE SCARIEST NIGHTS I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED WITH THE STAFF. Its been over a week and still have yet to talk to someone. Ridiculous.

It was bit of a wait to check in but it was a Saturday. I just dont understand why they took 30 min to check in a group of 4 people. Absolutely ridiculous when there's 30 people in line. They did not have any upgrades which was dissapointing and I saw a few employees not helping to alleviate the check-in line. One security guard gave us wrong directions to our hotel room but two others did not. So be weary. The hotel room is spotless. Comfortable beds and everything looks brand new. There was a 55 inch Samsung tv and all the comforts of home. Our cola machine on our floor didnt work with our credit card and its $3 for a bottle which is outrageous. They have a food court where you can get Panda Express, pizza....and the prices are reasonable. The Midway is superfun and the kids under 13 will have a great time but its not cheap. Games are $1 to $1.50 to play and you'll need a gamecard to play. Overall, Circus Circus was great and its an icon of Reno. Its been here forever and I have no problem staying here again. Only place I felt comfortable at. Other places never served us drinks. We did go back a second time during the night and the bartender was funny and we enjoyed his company.
I Had to rush to Reno for an emergency, the hospital gives $20 vouchers for Circus Circus, the hotel was so packed only one room was available, a suite, the night manager gave me an amazing deal, not $20, but affordable, the manager told me to let them know if I needed a room the next night, i did and was told a regular room was over $200 but since I had a voucher from the hospital $155, which I couldn't afford because the night before. I hope I dont have to go back but I couldn't give a bad review because the night manager was amazing, the morning hotel staff was rude, unaccomidating and unwilling to help or honor the hospital deal.
