Gotta love circus circus great for family fun and adult gaming been there 4 years in a row now and im looking forward to next year

Nice rooms. Adequate for my one night stay. My one complaint is that the showers needs to be updated. They are too low and not very relaxing after a long day. The beds were comfy though (on the firm side).

Used to Love this place but to bad theres no buffet here no more and the games now require cards no quater toss game no more it was a friday night and it waa a ghost town only a few ppl there and the casino was empty also..prerty sad renos a ghost town now when i lived there back in the late 90s it was popping not no more ...

Wonderful experience, but it is not a good idea to go on cold whether because you can't go out. That means more money for the casinos

More fun games and kids games up level. Also their restaurant and check.in hotel and store. And also a band show every Thursday till Saturday start at 9:00pm.

The layout of this place is so wonky. Make sure you stay in the North Tower (aka the one connected to the lobby) or else you will need to walk a long cold hallway with steps everywhere, ride a tram car that might be the saddest creation I have ever observed, or park in the garage below your room, which again has staircases everywhere in the weirdest places. I am young and strong, but will didn't have fun maneuvering the labyrinth to get to my not so great room. This place is oldschool. Also if you are going to charge me $30 for a resort fee, how about towels without blood on them, clean wash cloths!, and an extra blanket?? Maybe a breakfast discount coupon, etc. Anyway, go here for value not for luxury. I wouldn't come back unless I had kids to being for the arcade.

Had a good time an so did the kid so no complaints from me an definitely be returning next time I am up that way again

Always love playing on the midway of circus circus. I have been coming since i was a kid and now i get to bring my kid for the same experience.

Unfortunately it has gone downhill over the years. Carnival shows are less than spectacular and games are lacking from years in the past.

Update:

Their phone customer service is great but does not reflect at all in the front desk. They are rude, judgy and will not check you in until well past 8pm because they are still cleaning when by the check in time of 3pm the rooms should be ready to go since check out is noon. I still stand by my original review, enter at own risk that while they slapped some paint on the pig, the staff at the front desk specifically still make the whole hotel stink.

We've come here countless times, this hotel and casino has been a staple in my childhood (the children's casino that is). This time around we came with my elderly grandparents and we had a handicap room on a low floor reserved with linking rooms. When we got there they put us in another building on the 16th floor with us distributed in every corner of the floor. That was not right since we made the reservation a month in advance. I went down the second day to have a supervisor change us. They did but the people who are at the front desk a very rude under pressure and high volume of people trying to check in. We didn't get our money back which I'm still upset about. The sky tower rooms are old, outdated with mold and peeling paint in the shower and holes in the bedsheets. Enter and reserve at your own risk

I loved the various arcade games available!! And the entertainment was superb!

Really nice well appointed rooms. The casino is fun, lots to do and clean! Ruth Chris steakhouse was amazing!!!

Great staff. Clean rooms. Always win some money. Plus the arcade area is adult friendly too!

The room was updated and very nice. The staff was extremely friendly. Would go again, with or without the family.

We take the kids to the carnival area to win prizes and they love it!

It was a bit disappointing to find that buffet was gone even though the website says it is still there, but the food court that replaced it has nice restaurants like panda express, habit, and more. None of these places are open for breakfast but there is a nice restaurant near by in circus circus in that has really good breakfast and a nice coffee/juice bar.

Nice place to stop n have fun. A smaller version of Vegas Circus Circus. Great for families or just a few friends to have some drinks, food n gambling. I like the El Dorado buffet, so many options.

Food court and restaurants close at 10pm. Circus is free awesome. But I would love to sit and see even if I have to buy a ticket. It is a nice experience.i wish their restaurants stay open until 11pm at least if not midnight.

Circus Circus was a great place to take the kids. There were a number of arcade and carnival games for the kids to win prizes. They have plenty of restaurants to eat at. My family ate at the buffet, which was only sub-par. The buffet had prime rib which was great, but there wasn't a large selection of food for a buffet for the price.

I think this is the best casino among all the casinos in Reno. Aso the rooms were big compared to many other casinos.

Great idea if you have kids. The midway and mini circus acts are fun. Restaurants are good, especially the buffet. A little on the spendy side though. So make sure you have some extra cash.

Staff is friendly and always ready to help. Clean, comfortable room with a great view of the sunrise. Ice machine was broken on our floor and noisy air conditioner. Otherwise, 5 stars!!

The rooms were clean. Pillows too thin. Elevators were only half working. Parking was easy.

Ok not nothing to brag about, they took away drink coupon and only 3 black jack tables on the floor. Not worth the stay..

We only went for brunch on Sunday and the place was packed at 11:30. It was called Madame buttermilks. The food was great but the service was okay. They had to see our group of 10 at multiple tables.

Everything was great. The hotel workers were very nice and helpful. The room was perfect. Needs a microwave though. I wish they would bring back the high flying acts in the Midway, those were awesome.

We literally stood in line for an hour just to check in. We finally get a room and they direct us to this horrible old tram car thing. Only one of two is functioning. It's dirty and very slow. They never mentioned we could just walk! Not impressed.

This is supposed to be a kid friendly hotel. There is no microwave and I asked for them to heat up my daughters milk and they said to go buy a bottle warmer. Nice!!! Thanks circus circus we won t be back.

Circus Circus Reno is way better than Circus Circus in Las Vegas. I was a little worried that it wasn't going to be that nice, but I was pleasantly surprised by the room. It had a 55 inch flat panel, and the beds were really comfortable, which was different than my experience at Circus Circus in Las Vegas. I'd recommend Circus Circus Reno to anybody who wants to stay in a awesome hotel and have a lot of fun in Reno!

It got an atmosphere like no other but would totally go again

AC did not work , had to move to another room in the middle of the night . Rooms plate outdated. Shower and toilets barely worked . The staff was very rude

This is a great place to take the kids. Its full of entertainment and games. The bottom level is the casino. It's very big so even though it may see crowed it surprisingly not.

Great time with Family. Updated hotel. Updated fun center for kids and adults

My kids loved it here was very clean and way better than circus circus in Las Vegas.my kids still ask if we are going back.

Fun great entertainment for the whole family the hotel is very clean and Friendly staff they have a lot of fun things for the kids non stop fun and they had a circus act and lots of games and activities for the kids I loved there ice cream yourself by the way and very affordable lots of coupons and also free nights I will be returning very soon I love it

It was amazing. hotel rooms big. and the buffet was very good. kids play area was great, lots of games. me and my family enjoyed our vacation in circus circus reno.

we loved our stay. we had a good time with our kids. the room was so nice the food was really good. we would love to come back again. we really liked the games. we like all the stuff they had to do with our children.

It's pretty good not too kid friendly but still fun to be there with kids.

I sit down at a blackjack table and place a $100 dollar bet, I am dealt 12 with the dealer showing 8, so i hit, i get to 17, and in less than 1 second the dealer turns over her cards and hits. I Made NO GESTURE AND did not signal to hit or stand, as i was debating hitting a hard 17, since it was such a high bet and i was chancing it.

She turns over a 4, which would have given me a 21, i call the pit boss over, and she calls her boss, who call security to look at the footage. Next thing i know, that pit boss's, boss's, boss (im assuming the general manager for the entire gambling floor) comes to the table, looks me in the eye and says they will not return my bet or my winnings. I ask her what the footage showed and she tells me that it showed that i made NO GESTURE. So i asked why i wouldnt get my bet back if the game was advanced before i had my turn? She repeated that i would not be receiving my bet or winnings.

I threatened to write bad reviews, which i am doing, and she said again, we will not refund you despite the game being improperly advanced.

So i called the gaming commission and they sent an agent out to review the tapes and determine the solutions, although, the agent sounded like he had seen this MANY times before, and already knew i would be awarded a compensation.

How lame, she admits the casino was at fault and refused a refund.

Katherine L------- was the general manager, and i hope the gaming commission has a pleasant chat with her. Also, if the owners of the eldorado, Silver Legacy and Circus Circus, care in the slightest about there clients, then they too, should have a talk with your corrupt and dishonest manager. shes giving you a bad name, and marks on your gaming license.

It's the best place on earth. I've always gone here since I was kid and every time I'm here it's a nostalgic feeling in my bones. Definitely recommend playing the Goonies slot machine or big bang theory. This place has everything you need for a vacation.

The check in process took almost an hour, then we were given the wrong room. I requested a smoking king room, and was given a non smoking double queen bed, I called the front desk and was told they were out of kings so they gave us "two beds for the price of one." Once I explained that's not how this works she told me to meet the security guard on a different level and he would give us keys to a king room. Half an hour later (almost 2 am now) a confused and misinformed security guard leads up back to the original room, the wrong room. Great. But it's late, we are tired, we settled. The next even I go to take a bath. There's snot and hair and dirt all over the tub. As an added bonus the wifi, a tram, the lower level elevator buttons and the arcade player cards all seem to be down. I picked this hotel for 3 reasons: the smoking rooms, the king bed and the bath tub. None of which I got.

This place stinks of cigarettes. A waste of time and money.

Had a great time. Price for the room was excellent. Clean rooms and well keep. Lots of stuff to do, casino for adults, games for kids, and a big food court. It is also connected to Silver Legacy and Eldorado so you can walk over there without having to go outside anf try to cross any streets. Between the 3 of them there is always something to do.

Service is good, very nice to us when we were there. Elevators are a hassle to get into when a big weekend is over and using the stairs takes out outside. There are no vents in the bathrooms so when taking a shower you are causing your whole room to get muggy. Walls are VERY thin and beds aren t all that comfortable. Updated rooms are ok and the parking isn t bad.

Horrible Hotel layout. When my family and I first walked in, it was like we were in a maze. We had a hard time even finding the main lobby. On top of that, there are multiple towers that have their own lobbies that don't even have a concierge. Another thing about the layout, there are so many stairs you need to take from the center of the hotel to each of the towers and parking garages. The problem with this is that there were no ramps at these stairs so we needed to carry our luggage up stairs instead of rolling them up a ramp or take an elevator. Three of the five days we stayed, we would come back to our room past 6 pm and our room was not made. 6 PM! We had to call the front desk to request that our room be made and had to wait outside during the time. There are also no safes in the rooms and we didn't even get a do not disturb sign on our first night. If you are in Reno, do not stay here.

Clean rooms, food was good, machines were tight, didn't win anything.

We just ate in the food court. It was delicious, and very clean and well-maintained.

Stayed here once room was awesome. Played at the arcade had a blast even saw the mini show they have was pretty cool.

Nope got my room spent two minutes in side it walked back out asked for a new room ...wouldn't give me one ...asked for my reservation money back ...said no ..we went going to sleep in that room so went next door to a different hotel and they were more accommodating....way better room

Fun arcade area for the kids to play in. Food court has a good variety of food. And employees staff are friendly and always there if you need help or have a question about something.

Nicely remodeled rooms. Beds were super thin. Hotel and casino otherwise still looks very old and outdated.

Meh. I can t complain about the entertainment; the trapeze show is exciting, the midway is fine if it s not a weekend night. The food court is scary though. Yikes.

Kid friendly arcade. Most of the employees were helpful in explaining the games. Prices of some games (especially the claw games) were a little high. $1.50 was the average. But they had another section of the arcade on the food court level with more adult games. The amount of tickets given out on the games seemed pretty reasonable and didn't really jip you too bad. But the prize levels for the "good" prizes were pretty hard. 5-8 small prizes to upgrade to the good stuff.

Stayed there many years ago and it seemed old outdated. They have made improvements to the property and looks more modern. Great place for kids and adults.

Great place to stay and gambling good place for kids too

It's cool that they have fun stuff for kids here. I mean little kids not us big kids. But they do have fun stuff for us big kids too, oh yeah.

My kids and I always have fun here. The circus shows are awesome!

We had a good time, it's pretty small and when its busy it is hard to move around. The circus acts are short less than 10 mins. Games are each $1 to play and the prize redemption line is long. We had a good time but I think I would rather go to a other place.

Well priced rooms and not too hard to locate. Really happy how easy the parking was when I arrived. The condition of the room is nice and every day the room has been nicely cleaned/maintained.

Rooms leave a little to be desired. Maybe I didn't ask right or pay enough I don't know... however, with that business out of the way, our bed was hands down well designed and much appreciated. Slept like a king in my king. As you can see it comes with a view. You ride an electric tram around the entire building above the syreets of reno.This much is also a pleasant sight, a security officer sits at elevators and requires you to show room key before entering. This allows for a stay that is uninterrupted and without drama. Altogether the casino and dining available are awesome and I would stay here again

The room was up to date and clean. The smoke from the casino had a negative effect on my kids. Would suggest better ventilation system.

Find a different place to stay. We were put in the second tower which is quite a walk from everything. The room was ok, but the bed was very uncomfortable and the AC unit was so loud it was almost impossible to sleep at night. There are other places to stay for the same price. I really wish I could get my $30 a day resort fee back!

Newly remodeled rooms were nice, but the beds were very uncomfortable and our shower drain was clogged. Elevators were having problems which lead to very long lines to get on the elevators to our rooms, and then another 20-30 min wait to get on elevator to go to the casino.

Actually very disappointing to say the least multiple reasons for being disappointed the small store in the tower closes really early and they don't have much selection a soda pop cost $3 And the machine won't take your money the people here Are not very helpful they don't carry your baggage for you early settle offer they didn't stick to their original arrangement we had for our reservations and the cost And there's a lot of walking in the elevators are very confusing to get to your parking garage on all coulda saved a lot of money and had a better time someplace else

one of the worst experiences in my life when visiting a casino in this city .. on December 31 I went with my family and a man named manny I don't know why but every time we saw him I wanted to get my son out saying he wasn't 21 years old when around the place was full of children. A security of the place came to help us by telling us to ignore this man, who already knew him as he was. My question is how can they have staff like that?

Haven't been to this place since I was a kid. There didn't seem to be a whole lot happening. The midway looked like a good place to win some stuffed animals.
