Great place to watch a race. Not ADA friendly. They will get you from the parking lot to the gate, but you are on your own from there. Tough getting into the grand stands on a day it has rained. On crutches it sucks. In a wheelchair it takes 7 ramps, about 700 feet uphill to get into the stands at turn 12.

The venue is okay but the infrastructure getting to and from needs serious work. COTA intentionally makes getting an Uber/Lyft such a pain for their own profit to encourage people to pay their fees.

That was the most overpriced under realized event I've been to in a long time it started off with parking that was quarter mile away from the entrance it cost to get in everything once you were inside cost at least $5 usually more I paid $66 for a cold hamburger of dry hot dog and some french fries and drinks. The train ride was a real rip off. It was $5 a person to go 200 yards. It didn't go the entire length of the lights. The ice rink was another disappointment. All in all I wouldn't waste the money.

Might be the most unorganized event I ve ever attended! The staff had no idea what was going on, if you asked 10 the same question you d get 5 different answers and 5 who have no answer. The maps were inaccurate so don t try to find a bar, place to eat or bathroom based on the maps. The wait for the concerts at night were dangerous. No lighting, field with metal fencing to create some semblance of a queue, with every other barrier yellow tape. No oversight or direction from security or staff...As you can imagine it was tough to stay alive and not get trampled when they finally let you in as the crowd ran over the tape and barricades. Stay home and be safe.

We visit every year to watch MotoGp, food trucks near turn15 are good.. But the in-house food options are limited and costly.. If you have time don't miss to try out the COTA Karting experience..

COTA IS the first racetrack in the US built exclusively for F1 and it is universally praised by the drivers. Excellent facility and the operations improve with almost every event. MotoGP, F1, sports cars & IndyCar; if you are an auto or motorcycle roadracing fan, don't miss out.

The go karting is a blast! It s not the fastest I ve been to but it s still a ton of fun. It s hot as hell in the summer so be sure to bring or buy some water. You can bring your own helmet if you have one.

Track is in the middle of nowhere serviced by a two lane country road and has dodgy cell reception. Not close to Austin city at all. No public transportation. Traffic backs up so badly it takes 3 hours to get oit of the parking lot. Not a world class venue by any means.

We visited the Winter wonderland and had A-blast! I highly highly recommend this over going to the lights in zilker park which you have to wait 30 to 45 minutes just to get into the park then even though you pay for your ticket online you have to wait in line just to get through then your elbow to elbow with everyone. We really loved our experience at Kota it was nice and relaxed not too crowded and all of the displays were fabulous we loved the free pictures that we were able to check the download sites later the live music was awesome as well. We will definitely do Winter wonderland again next year.

Great venue in a great city(kind of). Food and drinks overpriced but what do you expect in a place like this. Parking sux and is why didn't get 5 stars. Did I mention the parking? Its in the middle of nowhere is the only issue I don't think this place is actually in Austin on the outskirts its a bit outside the city. Travel to the countryside is worth it for your event. Staff inside and out a little pushy but they are probably overworked and underpaid. There was short security guy named Jesse who worked by the entrance checking people who was exceptionally cool. I will be back.

What a hassle getting in or around the area. It's not in Austin. It's about 20 minutes outside of town. But actually when there's a show happening the travel time is much longer. There was several different vendors with a variety of food and beverages to choose from. Of course it's slightly overpriced, almost all good venues are. The acoustics were par. Not as good as I had hoped but the artists I saw made up for it 10 fold. Especially HWjr. He blew the roof off the place. The seating is your typical style seating. But the main reason this place only gets 2 stars is bcuz the ABSOLUTE HELL I had when trying to leave. Drive your own vehicle. Do not even try to get a cab, lyft, uber or anything of the sort. Hire a limo if need be. We waited 2 hours before a waitress from the venue asked us if we were stranded. The funny part is we had previously set up 2 different cabs (cab type rides) just so we knew that incase one ghosted us at least the other would be there. But nope... we sat and sat and sat until the waitress gave us a lift. She was so great for helping us out. So we paid her 2 times what the cab would have charged us and we had to force her to take the money.

Amazing raceway and venue equipped to host huge events as well as smaller, amateur racing. The concession prices are steep and the beer prices will make you wanna stop drinking but it is a state of the art track without a doubt.

If u've never been to a Formula 1 race, it's a must see and this is the stateside track to join in the fun. Get excited now for the race in October 2017 - sure to be a show stopper, perfect weekend or day for car enthusiasts!

Was flying my Mavic around on a foggy sunrise to get some dramatic fly-in sequences, but lost connection and ended up at the top of the tower, UPSIDE DOWN! Fortunately, the security guard was kind enough to escort me to the top, so I could retrieve my aircraft. He wasn't able to unlock the elevator, so... 500+ steps to the top! Definitely not an easy climb, but that guard was a trooper! He'll probably never see this, but many thanks brother!
