My friend and I visited the amphitheater to see Cage the Elephant x Beck and it was amazing. They had a truck cart people from the parking lot to the theater and back, lots of accessible restrooms and food, and the lawn was very clean and well kept. The lights and giant red tower look amazing at night when lit up. I will definently be back for future concerts!

Stale, cold, expensive food with only 1 vendor to choose from no matter where you went inside the track. I even asked if the food was recently cooked and they lied and said it was just set out. There are no options for outside the track either, except gas station food.

The race track facilities, organization and staff was very good. The concert facilities were not and I might argue they were hazardous. The trams between the gates was spotty (at best), the walk to the concert area was poorly lighted (most people used their mobile phone flashlights) and disorganized (no signs) and we were forced to walk through grass fields with tire ruts, rocks and other hazards (in the dark). Once in the concert area, the only lights were from the stage and from the beer vendors (which camped out in front of the toilets). The walk from the concert area back to the parking area was really really poor, couldn't find the trams and most of the workers we met along the walk were imported from other cities (like Houston) and had never been to the facility before (they just shrugged their shoulders). Racing was fantastic and I'd definitely go again. Concert was a total mess and I will never go back.

My go to weekend time killing spot. I admittedly haven't been fortunate enough to attend F1/Moto GP, but I've seen many races and love Cars and Coffee. I would love to see a more elaborate events calendar that doesn't only show major events. Maybe this exists but I'm not sure where.

Greatest experience I've ever had at a sporting event. Staff was friendly helpful and gave genuine appreciation of our patronage. The venue was well kept for its size and was very well planned for the event. The facilities were clean and updated nicely for an outdoor "stadium". I would 100% recommend COTA for entertainment of all kind.

Great family fun place! Saw a little bit of F1 Race Cars practicing. The Kart track racing was awesome! 55mph in a Kart was incredible! Very nice people in general! Check it out if you are near the airport!

I've come each year for the F1 and Motogp races. The ownership should make the facility more fan friendly with shuttles from the outlying parking areas (it can be quite a walk) and the chances for better photo opportunities for amateurs like myself would be welcome. I was listening to some of the riders last week during the Motogp event commenting after several falls during practice and the race itself that the track conditions were appalling. I have to say after watching the riders slide in turn 19 and turn 2 the track conditions need to be improved or FIMA may not return to race there and that would be a huge embarrassment seeing as there are no American riders in the premier class as well as Moto2 and Moto3 and Mexico now has a venue. Let's make the track the best in the world. Texas 4 forever

This place is amazing!!! As a long time Formula One fan coming here was a big check on my "bucket list." My wife & I came on a Sunday & took the tour. It was 2 hours & we got to see nearly every detail of the track. Including the "inner workings" like the VIP suites, the winners podium & race control, which is very impressive. As a special bonus there were sanctioned race clubs on track that day so after the tour we went back to the main grandstands had a cold beverage & watched Porsches, Corvettes, GTRs, BMW's you name it, racing past at full throttle for the rest of the afternoon. A beautiful track on a gorgeous piece of land outside a very fun city, Austin TX. Thanks #COTA

Just got back from the 2014 US Gran Prix at COTA. Absolutely first class weekend in all aspects of the facility and trip.
We were in Turn 11 General Admission. Great viewing sat amongst knowledgeable, polite race fans. We parked in offsite parking lot Q, it was easy to get in & out of the track using the free shuttle buses. We stayed South of the track in New Braunfels, and it was a breeze getting in & out.
The tickets were well priced (cheaper than Nascar). The concessions were quite easy to access, not cheap, but typical of any sports/music event. Free Kid Rock concert after the race.
The workers were efficient & polite without exception (typical of Austin & Texas).
I just booked our hotel for 2015.
Good job everyone.

I went to the Christmas event and I thought it was well worth it. It was pleasantly cheesy in the way a good Christmas celebration should be. Lots of people but not crowded. Clean and well run. A little pricey, but not too bad.

Really great time, going to the track. Lots of food trucks and pop up restaurants show up for major events. I have not been to a smaller event though. The walk from the far stands to the pots is far, but not hard.

Went to Oddball Comedy festival here. They manage traffic decently. But don't expect to get out anytime soon. Took an hour to leave the venue. It's an overpriced venue, what can you expect. Food trailers from Austin are usually there. There is a lot of things going on simultaneously. Not a place I would go to see a sow again since it's pretty much like driving to another city.

Best place to be at if you love cars. It also hosts the one and only pinnacle of motorsports, Formula 1 world championship race around october-november every year. Watching cars on their very edge going around the beautiful turns and curves of the track just gives and eyegasm(if thats a word ) and don't forget about that glorious sound of formula 1 cars.

I attended a conference, it has capacity for hundreds of people, a great place to all related automotive industry, yes definitely great atmosphere. Parking was not a problem and it was not really a long walk.

We love coming to races here. The track is fun, and many different options for seating. Our last visit was disappointing. We came for the IMSA races in May of 2017. There are many, many food trucks, booths, and concession stands. However for this race (which thousands of people attended) none of them were open. There was 1 stand on turn 15. We waited in line for 45 min and was told our food would be out in another 20. After waiting for two hamburgers we paid outrageous prices for they were both cold.

Great experience in this enormous racetrack. Plenty of entertainment and a vast array of food options all around the track. There are many food trucks and lots of good barbecue options. There are different venues for general music entertainment or shows with both assigned seats or general access lawn option. BE READY TO WALK!
