Overwhelming excitement. Best day ever with Rebecca Privette.
I went to circuit of the America's for the first time during their winter wonderland event. It was a little expensive but there was a TON of stuff to do. A lot of it was extra which was also unfortunate. They had great food trucks as well which was perfect since the kids got hungry towards the end. Trail of lights wasnt very good as it was pretty short and the lights were old. The light tunnel was awesome though! They had "snow" and an ice skating rink too!!
Now Now Now, if you're visiting any part of Texas and you're a motorsport enthusiast please please include this on your tour, I flew all the way from Africa to visit this place. I recommend the guided tours that give you a general overview of the whole circuit. for me it was a on the bucket list.
had a blast as usual this weekend was great not s huge muse fan but had a great time! the kids loved the cars and of course i did!
Went here in a date on a Saturday night. We both had a blast. I was nervous that I wouldn't enjoy it, but ended up having fun as well. I'd you have your own motorcycle helmet I'd recommend bringing it. However, they give you a head sock so you can wear that and not have the germs from the helmet. The race is ten minutes long and goes quickly. We did the junior race but would do the faster one next time for extra fun. Definitely make reservations in advance as it books up quickly
Good, hot fun. The Sky Bar is the best. If you can grab covered seats in the main grand stand and take a/c breaks in the sky bar, you're set!
Fun place to F1 Raices, a lot of service, Restrooms every very, much kind of food and drinks
The facility is amazing. The track is incredible, and the views you get are pretty great. One of the better general admission tracks out there. What keeps it from a 5 star rating is the lack of water stations around the track. I feel that do a track it's size, water should be more accessible. Another factor is the price of the food. It's nearly twice as expensive as it needs to be. I've been to this track numerous times now, and those are still my biggest issues with it.
I went the the track for a Bold soccer game. Had a great time. Bold did a great job with the facility. If you buy a ticket for the late afternoon game get a ticket on the West side stands. All the seats on the West are shaded. Important in to know in Texas.
Easy to navigate around, vendors we're very kind and helpful and the concert venue was awesome. This time in particular, our group was in the "pit" at the concert and it felt like they're was enough room to move about without feeling too crammed despite being a sold out show.
Went here for Moto GP and it was awesome biggest track I've ever been to.
Wow. Amazing. So worth tbe day. The end of day lap was insane
Great place to watch the races, track facilities are great, but they need more restroom facilities.
One of the best tracks in North America. Came to see a WEC event and was thoroughly impressed with the track, accommodations and the layout in general. Parking was easy and there were shuttles to help those parked far away. Plenty of great places to take in the race with a good amount different turns to view. I can only imagine the experience gets better with a larger event like F1 or MotoGP. I look forward to my next race at Circuit of the Americas.
Cars and coffee was amazing here! Great venue, great cars and great people!
Go every year for Moto GP, love the people and facilities.
I've had good times here in the past, but my past trip left alot to be desired. We just went to the Advance Auto Parts Sports Car Showdown (IMSA races). The only food available for ALL the spectators was ONE concession at turn 16 selling $12 burgers on Friday, and that same concession plus a guy in a pop-up tent selling BBQ on Saturday! The lines were so long Saturday, we just went without lunch. All the concessions under the main grandstands were closed, and all the extra concessions along the amphitheater were closed. That seemed really ridiculous to me; they should have had a couple extra concessions open at turn 16 AND have at least one of the concessions open under the main grandstand!
The main spectator parking this trip was Lot T out past turn 1, rather than Lot H like all the other events I've attended there. This was because they scheduled a music fest across the road at their lakeside stage on that Saturday as well. This would not have even been a problem had they had more parking shuttles running, but all they had was two of the truck/trailer shuttles and two or three of the 20 passenger buses running! There were at least two more truck/trailer shuttles just sitting parked all weekend out at the side of the main grandstand parking lot. That was just ridiculous to me!
I enjoy seeing the races, but the lack of interest shown in attending to the basic needs of your customers who spent good money to come to your venue has me questioning if I want to attend more races there in the future. You can do so much better COTA......
Went to Peppermint Parkway night and it was absolutely awesome...
Great experience. We went there for cars and coffee. Good cars, food..
I had a blast! I worked with an agency to assist 5 Star for the COTA event or race & concert featuring MUSE. I was on my feet for 14 hours too.
Our team had a great time driving the track. We had some clutch slave issues on or #42 car driven by Tom Pank but that was cleared up and we are back and ready to race. Come on out and see us our next time around.
Always fun visiting, been several times for various events.
Just pay for general admission and sneak into the grandstands! Don't pay full price for reserved tickets like me! COTA is a joke!
Loved it...and absolutely love F1! Vendors and staff appreciation courteous and helpful!
The Karting Management is terrible. We arrived 20 minutes early for our 11AM reservation and we're told your too late. What? We just heard them call for the 11AM reservation.
The prissy manager offered us a ride at 2PM, oh sure, during the F1 race we want to be racing go karts, please. "You can get credit for merchandise". Really, who cares? No, I just wanted a refund. "We don't offer refunds". Now you have a very upset client. This is not customer service. You didn't provide the service paid for and that is not good. Chase CC, "please file a dispute, thank you". I will get my $ back. But, in the mean time a regular client is now lost. I spend big dollars to come to multiple events here. No more. Oh that Paddock Club reservation for next year, consider that out the window now.
Been here for a few concerts very fun organized and friendly!
Awesome place.. lots of eataries, good music and exhilarating F1
This will be the last year we will attend Willies 4th of July picnic! For the amount of money that is generated at this event it is ridiculous that they do not have a shaded cover and more fans for the main stage! People were being taken off on stretchers from heat exhaustion! Willies loyal fans ages 60 plus can no longer endure the heat! Plus the day is
too long! The night needs to be finished with the fireworks! The crowd all left by the time Willie performed because he performs too late! Plus seriously, the cost for alcoholic drinks are ridiculous!
We would pay that for comfort, but no longer will attend when there s no consideration for the 55 plus crowd! We can see Willie in Fort Worth under air conditioning and much better conditions! Luke Combs was fabulous! The only reason I gave the review a TWO star!! He s a FIVE STAR! Plus review the videos the performers are dying from heat on the stage! This stage is only for evening performances that start at 8:30!!! We heard a lot of people say they would not be back!!
Love this venue for IMSA GS and ST class racing. You can get up close to the cars and drivers pre-race. Almost 4 mile track has multiple viewing angles. I used Waze to get here, which helped with traffic, but bring cash for parking, they don't take debit/credit cards.
What a great venue for an F1 race. Everything is crazy expensive, but I've come to expect that at this point from any professional sports venue. The one thing they could do better is make it more rain friendly. There was mud everywhere, and many of the paths are either gravel or just grass, so it was hard to stay out of the mud. Other than those few things, the experience was well worth it!
Update 1 year later: a lot of the problems with drainage have been fixed on the pathways. It didn't rain during the event this year, but it was all much better situated.
Excellent venue for race fans. Numerous places to view all the action.
Very muddy when it rains. Wear appropriate footwear for wet events. Facility has a lot of accommodations. Very large. Easy to get to.
Attended a concert at this place. Hands down best show I have attended. This place is huge
Awesome track layout, look up Pat's public parking, great people and location to get into Gate 1
So many great shows, races and memories my family and I have made here! Pretty good staff aswell! Great selection on food! Bring your ear plugs and sunscreen!
Staff and volunteers have all been helpful. In a racing lull it could feel like there are not enough Porta potties but plan it right and you'll be able to get in quickly. Venue continues to grow and offer things for guests. Can't wait to see what is is store for MotoGP 2020
The place is huge, and the parking spaces are a distance from the facility. However, there are options for transportation to and from as well as camping, the toll road provides an expeditious entrance and exit, and Circuit of the Americas (COTA) provides a professionally run entertainment complex. For MotoGP (motorcycle races), the public was allowed to ride motorcycles around the course, live music was provided, and the center area was filled with displays, vendors, and stunt shows. Large video screens provide views for those far from the current action. This is a quality entertainment experience.
The Karting track is awesome! (The main track is amazing too - but get in a Kart and have some fun!)
Track was great. But the logistics for ride hailing are atrocious. We were there for the F1 Grand Prix. Thousands of people trying to get Uber and Lyft and there was no one directing traffic. Unacceptable. It took us 2.5 hours to get out and to downtown Austin. You can do better, so easily. Get a few cops to direct traffic or make it one way so you don t have to stop traffic to let cars turn.
Open space, plenty of area to walk around, and leaving was super fast for a concert venue. Surprisingly simple.
Coffee- cars. Good to see what younger are working on
Turn 12 bleachers is definitely the best place at the circuit. I've been in every stand and from now on every ticket will be turn 12 section 6.
Went for Bike Night which was a lot of fun. It's expensive to see a race (depending on your finances).
You have to go at least once... Then you'll be hooked & come back for more!
This is heaven on earth. This is guy Disney world. Turn 4 of F1 2018 USGP. Amazing facility, staff, concessions. I will be back for sure
This is a great facility and they mean business because you get the best drivers in the world to come there. As a spectator I guess my only gripe would be leaving the venue after a race. Didn't seem to be a smooth as it could be.
Lots of awesome food and drinks. Great place to watch a concert.
F1. Racing !!!!! Great circuit, great location, great time
Went to the first ever F1 in Austin, okay just the Friday practice but great track, great city
Great track 20 turns and infamous first corner hill, loved it a little hard to get to the first corner grand stands with the hill but overall incredible track
The place is completely avoidable. It'll drain $100s just to get into the track. Food sucks and Texas people are one of the most worst I've ever seen. Their steak is good because they can't cook anything else. They over pack the venue to the point you can't see anything. Just stay home and watch. I'm no longer a racing fan because of this awful place.
Had a great meal and a special time at a private gathering. No race, no concert, just an impressive track and a hot, summer Texas day.
Came here for the USGP and spent all three days here. Watched most of the race from Turn 4 and the Tower. The tower is an awesome viewpoint but limited to 15 minutes. Also, I paid for the Champagne and express entry and never got the Champagne because they ran out of glasses. Not sure if that was on the venue or organizers. Also, the entire venue does not handle rain well so it was super muddy and a mess to get around. I would actually say the biggest problems at this venue are the logistics. It takes forever to get in and out of the venue, especially if you are using Uber/Lyft which includes the option of paying $20 a person for a pedicab to take you like half a mile. The problem is that there is only one free shuttle that runs every 20 minutes.
Great restroom organization. Staff inside kept things clean and organized. Arrive really early to get a good parking spot. Food and memorabilia are expensive.
Attended the Bold soccer game at COTA. Nice set-up. Every seat is good. Enthusiastic fans. Live drum music during the entire game. Good concession options.
Winter wonderland is awesome. Take the kids. Don't miss it.
They still do not have the traffic and parking thing figured out yet
This is an amazing track ! I have been going here for F1 since they opened.
They are very organized and there are great spots for hanging out in your lawn chair.
Only drawback is that the small roads around the track will fill up as 100k people are leaving.
Was quite the experience at the F1 race at the Circuit of the Americas! Would definitely be interested in attending again in the future.
Best MotoGP experience at COA! Loved the pedestrian-friendly and accessible walk-way all around the circuit. Shuttles were also available for those not wanting to walk.
No outside food allowed, but water/water bottle is allowed. There are even some water stations all over for free refill. Plenty of food and drink stands available, but be prepared to pay $$$. For example, I paid about $15 for a medium-sized hotdog and handful of fries.
My favorite Formula 1 track in the U.S. since Watkins Glen. All 3 days were very enjoyable with 2 major music concerts! Will return yearly for F1! It's a don't miss!
Like the circuit, wish it was run more like an established road course where you can drive where u want, fire a grill an really enjoy the races, make it more fan friendly for some of us on a budget
The best track in the world! I'm ready for the Grand Prix tomorrow*****
Sensational gp award first time I come to the race and is incredible
The parking and exiting is horrible. It took hour and half to get out of the parking lot. It s not worth all the hassle.
Extremely friendly encounters here, love every aspect of this place. From the go-karts to the zip-line on site, there will be something for everyone along with the headliner events. You cant beat the experience that comes with COTA!
