Very nice place. I had a fixed menu dinner and I cannot say exceptional. It's worth trying again.

There is always a good atmosphere in the circle of readers. Wonderful rooms. An excellent alternative for students as well, where they can spend a few hours devoting themselves to studying in an environment other than universities and study rooms. There is a good quality bar service, perhaps a little expensive: It would be nice to create some convention for students precisely to encourage the presence of young people and therefore the opportunities for children to participate in the events organized by the club.

Very cozy place to read, study or have lunch. Private events can also be held and it features an indoor bar. Sometimes it is a bit cold, perhaps due to the large windows and if there are particular events the places to read or study decrease significantly

It is a beautiful and refined place, in the Turin book club, in the historic center. Linen napkins, silverware and old paintings on the walls serve the purpose of making you feel spoiled and in another era. The food is good and the wines are very suitable. The price is commensurate with its level. Highly recommended

Nice location. Very close to the city centre and other tourist-visited places. Historical building which creates unique atmosphere. The staff is professional. The courses are enough in size and cooked well. Chocolate cake for dessert and a beef in a red wine for the main course are really delicious :-)

Absolutely fantastic. Very nice food and wine. Highly recommended. Food and Spumante in the picture were complementary.

After a wonderful experience three years ago, I'm back, full of expectations. I found the staff helpful, and attentive. The Sommelie, who was supposed to help us in the choice of wines, never appeared. My husband found his starter of Polpo Milizza exquisite, while I was not very satisfied with my Gnocchi of seirass and herbs with porcini mushrooms in aromatic stew: porcini are exquisite, but their flavor totally covered that of seirass and herbs. My husband then took I Rravioli stuffed by hand with cod: good. At this point, our room is invaded by a joyful group of about twenty Americans and their guests, perhaps a conference, who speak very loudly. The noise is such that we are forced to run away, giving up the tempting desserts. I believe that, in this type of situation, the restaurateur should not insert, in a small room, a table of two people next to such a large group.

Fabulous, I would spend all my days. It is a lovely place, in the heart of Turin, a stone's throw from Piazza Castello. For those who read and love books it is absolutely unmissable !!!

One of my favorite places in Turin, ever. For those who love books and literature, like me, it is a place of incredible beauty (including architecture) and culture. They also organize many initiatives and book presentations!

Knowing that the setting is really beautiful (there would need to be a restoration but it is still a beautiful historic building in Turin, nothing to say then about the Circolo dei Lettori as an institution) we were at the cafeteria of the Circolo dei Lettori. Not seeing anyone coming, let's go to the desk to order. After a while a waiter arrives with two glasses in his hand without a tray, who also announces the arrival of popcorn. Moral: we still have to see the popcorn now and when we go to the cashier we are presented with a bill of 11.00 euros for a crodino (4.00 euros) and a non-alcoholic of the house (7.00 euros for something that was practically a grapefruit juice mixed with no one knows what). It seems a bit too much for a non-existent service and two glasses served like the beer party ...

Place with enormous potential, inside a splendid building in the center. over the years they have tried to make it "fresher", but the intent has only partially succeeded. I'm not a lover of retro, but I preferred it before. it still remains one of my favorite places

All perfect. Excellent egg cooked in shell with Cervere leeks and what to say about the "Plin" with 3 roasts on the napkin ..... without condiments, this is how you appreciate an excellent filling !!!!

Excellent place for congresses, located in the center of Turin, easily reachable on foot. Bar restaurant located inside, offers different courses for the hot meal, breaking the wait

It wasn't the first time, but we had a really good time last Tuesday. Leaving aside comments on the environment and on the service, always impeccable, all the courses were excellent, with a perfect balance between the ingredients both in the flavors and in the composition of the dishes. The perfect place to breathe the elegance and splendor of Turin. The great thing is to be totally public; you can use the spaces to study, read, work on the PC. Exceptional restaurant, the suggestiveness of the place will allow you to surprise your companion. Super recommended.
