The noble palace contains all a particular beauty already disruptive in the access stairway. The entrance is always open to everyone, just dial the code indicated on the intercom: you do not need invitations to enter. Particularly sumptuous ballroom but also the other rooms are very well kept. First cooking, rich brunch

One of my favorite places in Turin. Whether for studying or reading, for a coffee or for a brunch, the Club is a magical place, where you can breathe the air of other times and where you can meet the most varied kinds of person. There are the students, the madamias in a knot that read poems aloud, some children running around and the old men dozing on the sofas; all in the splendid setting of Palazzo Graneri della Roccia.

On the first floor of a prestigious Turin building, along the monumental staircase that leads to the prestigious Circle of Turin readers, this treasure trove of flavors and refinements opens up.
Few tables, comfortable and reserved, surround the customers, the friendly and competent service, both make it a pleasure to spend an evening there.

Wonderful restaurant. Inside a historic building with period ambiance. The waitress was fantastic, explaining the menus and dishes and recommending a great Nebbiolo at great cost and similar in quality to a Barolo. Impeccable service, quiet atmosphere and tasty and well prepared food, including covert breads. Certainly one of the best restaurants on the trip. For a complete meal with wine expect to pay around 100 euros.

The brunch is a total scandal. A pure robbery. The selection of the food is so minimal that you barely find 2 hot dishes.
Boiled eggs, pieces of cheese, salad, some hams, almost no bread... for desserts the most cheaper corn flakes, 2 cakes dry and tasteless, a fruit salad. 20 per person, excluding water (bottled) and coffee.
There are so many places out there.
The staff didn t shine for empathy nor great service.
The rooms and the location is old, ok, nice, but not clean.

I strongly DO NOT RECOMMEND IT

A beautiful place to hang out, have spritz and relax. It's beautiful, you can easily imagine intellectuals of Torino's past sitting there discussing important matters, or the rebels plotting against the monarchy. Definitely worth the visit.

Visited on Saturday 16th September: business dinner. On the occasion of the visit of an important executive, we had dinner in this restaurant. Impeccable service, staff absolutely up to par, good choice of wine. The environment is certainly of a good standard without exceeding in luxury. I was not particularly satisfied with the preparation of the dishes. Some were very good: a 10's priest's hat, but the pepperoni sandwich with cheese sauce or the agnolotti del plin, below expectations (mine, of course). Take my review for what it is: the simple opinion of a Sunday gourmet :-)

Inside a splendid "Baroque" building.

Inside a splendid "Baroque" building.
Very popular with young people.
Some rooms dedicated to the presentation of young novice writers.
A very well run bar.
An ancient restaurant: the "Tampa", so called because it is located below, frequented in the past by famous people who have left their presence here.
Beautiful rooms that, unfortunately, I found a little dilapidated and dirty.

The building and the rooms are very beautiful. Bright rooms and a relaxing atmosphere. An oasis of city chaos. Enjoyable lunch. All well cooked with quality raw materials. Efficient and helpful staff. Fair average prices for the location and fresh food. To make a stop.

Cultural club located inside a splendid period building. The conferences and performances are always of a high standard and inspiring. Excellent coffee shop. The only negative note: the chairs are really uncomfortable

Housed in the sumptuous Palazzo Graneri della Roccia, dating back to the late 17th century, the Circolo dei Lettere represents a unique place of its kind in Italy: combining the offer (for the most part free) of cultural meetings on the key issues of our time, from the quality of the press to the relations between populism and democracy, from creeping anti-Semitism to the European Union to the provision of spaces for study (rather narrow, to tell the truth), passing through catering and entertainment. Definitely perfectible, but an inevitable institution in the cultural panorama of Turin.
