It is so nice to be back at Chuy's!

Our first time trying Chuy's was last night and we were very impressed! Our waitress was extremely knowledgeable of the menu, very entertaining, and make the experience wonderful. The food was excellent!

I have been a fan of Chuy's from the first time I visited their original location About 10 years ago. This location near Costco is usuallyvery crowded, so we don't go as often as we'd like.
The decorations inside the restaurant are unique, but they also have a very nice area outside with tables in the shade. I encourage you to ask to be seated outside if the weather is good.
The food was tasty as always, and the portions so large we had to take the leftovers to go.
Oh, one tip: they bring corn tortillas and salsa for appetizer, but you can also request their special white sauce for free.

I cannot stand the food here. I got the chicka chicka boom boom the sauce is amazing the chicken however is very dry, the rice tastes like it came from a package of horrible super tex mex. The service got the 3 stars.

Chile Rellenos are the best. Vegetarian friendly beans and rice.

They get very crowded so get there early! The food is good and the tres leches is AMAZING. The bathrooms are past the bar and that area can be a little difficult and crowded to navigate. Don't forget to try the creamy jalapeno sauce as well!

I went to this location with my family on Saturday, February 10th for lunch around 12:45 pm. Our server was polite but service was terribly slow. When the food finally came, every member of our party received their meal save for myself. I waited for a few minutes thinking it would be coming and it did not. More than 10 minutes passed and our server did not check on our table. I flagged down another server and asked him Matt to find my server and asked to speak to a manager about my missing meal.

My server finally came another 10 minutes later to bring me a bill which included my meal and let me know that my food would be over shortly in a to go package. The manager never deigned to show up and talk to me, though I was polite the entire time. We left and as I d been there many times before I decided to let it go.

When I got home and finally had time to eat my lunch I found chicken bones in my enchiladas. Finally I wrote the corporate office to inform them of my horrible experience. Since at this time I have had no contact from anyone the company I m finally done.

I ll make sure my 1 Star review hits every rating page available. I m about ready to post on my neighborhood Facebook page about this experience which would definitely cut into the stores profits.

The togo place for TexMex, they have good chips and salsa and our favorite thing to have is the Combo#4 with Chili reno and enchilada which comes with amazing refried beans! Never a disappointment

Hot, fresh, and delicious. They also went above and beyond to cater to a vegan diet. Definitely appreciate them

Decent food, an Austin icon. Love the appetizer plates! Noisy, so don't go for quiet conversation.

Wonderful Food, Service and excellent atmosphere. This is a great place to have an outdoor party on the patio when the weather is decent. I would not recommend it as a quiet place for conversation. You may have to request that when you're being seated. We had a party of 20 people and our waiter Michael gave us his complete attention. Very very friendly wait staff.

I just wanna start off and say I absolutely love Chuys but this experience left a bad taste in my mouth. So I ordered a steak burrito with hatch chili sauce & the same sauce with the enchiladas. I order the same thing every single time and I love it. This time the sauce was so nasty. It was like watery if that makes sense and then you had some spice in there. There was also no cheese on top. I know the way this comes because I have had it every single time and I never order anything different. I was looking forward to this meal and it was absolutely disgusting. I ordered it to go so I couldn't just tell a waiter anything since I'm home. The whole meal tasted so plain. Not seasoned at all. Literally the worst experience ever.

Always fun, the service is typically fast and friendly. Tasty margaritas, yummy queso. Hard to have a bad meal or time at Chuy's.

Food wasn't good at all. I hardly could manage to eat any of it. Definitely left still hungry. The atmosphere was great and customer service was superb.

I prefer most texmex over chuys, due to the loudness and how crowded the place usually is for very stylized food

Food was perfect as always, very fresh and delicious every single location i go to! But our service tonight was some of the worst id ever had in my life, i suppose because of how busy it was. If you cant handle that many customers at once then maybe you should tell people to wait for a table instead of trying to fill as many as you can. Id rather wait for a seat than have terrible service

Food is good ... service, not so much at this location. The best location is the original on Barton Springs. They must train better there. Idk ... been eating at Chuys for 30+ years and never had a problem u till they started to expand. If you expect great service when you eat out Chuys at Arbour Trails is not your best choice.

The waitstaff service was great for our group of 10, but one person's meal didn't come until 40 minutes after everyone else's.

Waiter was very punctual and attentive and the food was excellent. We will be back to eat.

Our server Madi was the BOMB! My co-worker and I were on lunch and she was very prompt with her timing of drinks and food. We did not have to wait around on anything and she is very knowledgeable on her menu (drinks and food). WE will most definitely go again for lunch. #ThanksMadi

Chuy's at the MoPac and William Cannon location is sitting on my wife's family farm. We stopped to eat after a very emotional funeral. Thank goodness for Chuy's. We looked at the old home place of her Grandparents, read the plaque in the parking lot that commemorates her mother,,then went in and had a wonderful meal with margaritas and ice cold beer.
Our waitress was fantastic, the food was exquisite, and we were able to unwind and salvage a horrible day . As always, I'll probably drive back to Austin on January 8th for Elvis's birthday and celebrate at Chuy's.

Chuys is consistently good. They typically have a crowd but I've never had to wait long to be seated. The chips are great and the jalapeno ranch is on time.

An Austin mainstay! Like all their locations, there is usually a wait. This location in south Austin has a great patio. It s large and they have fans and umbrellas. The interior spaces have different themed decor and I m pretty sure their style is more is better. Almost every inch of wall space is covered with something. It s a fun I Spy location for kids.

This was not a good night at Chuy's. My drink didn't arrive until the food did. My special nachos were awful - stale as if they had been left waiting for too l8ng before being delivered. Service was mediocre. Very disappointed.

I've been going to Chuy's for 25 years. This is a solid location with good service and tasty food. I'm just amazed and disappointed that their beer selection is so blah. No craft beers at a restaurant in Austin? Maudie's has them beat, hands down.

Chuya is and always has been one of my favorites! They have GREEN CHILE! Decent times take.out. Food always delicious!

Staff taking the food orders for pick up sound so annoyed. This has happened so often, I don t order pick up anymore. Eating there is fine, but I don t advise pick up. Customer service needs some attention.

Amazing food! I haven't had better refried beans. The prices were reasonable and the portions large. The server was polite and helped us navigate through the menu. The only complaint I had was that the food was a lot more spicy than I expected. And I'm Indian!

Best salsa and chips in Austin!!! I love this location the best as it is clean and fun atmosphere! I highly recommend the togo easy parking too and you can bring home their warm chips and amazing salsa home too! By far better than grocery store salsa and chips! Long live Chuy's y'all

After reading the reviews about this place, me and my family decide to come here. Everything was great, especially the fresh hot chips they serve...my kids loved it and we sure will be coming back!

Food always makes me sick after, but it's still good. One of the host looked and smelled like she was on drugs, i don't think that's okay for work. Our wait time was 1 hr. Super crowded. Not a lot of diversity between servers and hosts, which shouldn't be if it's a tex-mex. Only saw 1 black male and about 5 Hispanics the rest were white. A lot of TEX not a lot of MEX.

I always enjoy the Tex-Mex food & frozen margaritas here. Service has always been good.

I'm not really a fan of chuy's except for the jalepeno ranch. Their food is mediocre. They do have good drinks though.

I need one of these in Oregon! Great Tex Mex, great service. Drinks were light but tasty, and they have their own apparel so I could take a momento home.
