Lip smacking Mexican food. Best complimentary chips and salsa.

I'm a big fan of Chuy's, so when an out-of-town cousin stopped in Austin for the night on a business trip and wanted to sample some local Tex-Mex cuisine, this was the first place I thought of.

As with many Chuy's at dinnertime during the week, we had a short wait before being seated. It wasn't too bad because that gave us a chance to check out the t-shirts and other fun things by the front door.

I had the Elvis Presley Green Chile Fried Chicken. This is one of my favorites on the menu, and it was as good as I expected. My cousin had the Elvis sample plate, and even commented that the enchiladas were very good despite the fact that she really doesn't like enchiladas. She even got a to-go package to take back to Michigan to share with family there.

Our server, Jonathan, was very good. He was properly attentive (not too much and not too little) and he paced out our meal and to-go orders very nicely.

I don't get that far south in Austin very often. If you're in the area and haven't tried Chuy's, give this place a try.

Chika Chika Boom Boom Sauce and Tres Leches. Pretty much the best you can get out of this place!

Great service and overall great food but their guacamole is not so great

Do not order through a delivery app. The food is cold, tacos soggy, and chips are stale.

Delicious margaritas, best happy hour (M-F 4-7 pm), fresh and flavorful food, great service!

Chuy's has some of the best TexMex in Austin. Their chuychangas are awesome!

We ve been eating our way through Texas for a month and this was (by far!) the worst. I had the green Chile fried chicken breast which is a specialty . Very tough and rubbery chicken breast First and last time there.

Good restaurant very large dishes, good place for people with a great appetite

Chuy's is a nice clean restaurant. The food is good and the service is as well. With most restaurants the experience differs. Some waiter/waitresses are better or worse and same goes for the food. But for the most part it is always a great place to eat and drink. Never really disappointed me in a major way. I'd definitely recommend and I regularly visit.

It's not fancy and the decor is over the top, but the food is delicious with low prices for large portions.

Friendly and fun, love the chuychonga with chicken, parking is generally pretty available, has a little order pickup parking as well.

The food was burnt inside my burrito did not like that. But the service was ok but not as good as I expected

My fAmily and I frequent this Chuys location. Most of the time, in fact Everytime except today we've had a great experience but today, the overweight waiter we had didn't seem to want to do his job. We didn't get refills on our tea and when my order was brought out, it was wrong. All I asked was for queso on my enchiladas. He reluctantly took my plate and didn't return for another15 minutes. My husband and son had finished eating before I ever got my plate. He also didn't refill our chips or salsa. My husband lives for the salsa, so this was disappointing to say the least. We will still be back but if I get that waiter again. I'm asking for someone else.

It has a nice and colorful atmosphere and delicious food.
