It was surprisingly great. Great food great service

Omg! My favorite place to eat good Mexican food and drink some of the best Frozen Margaritas....Best salsa and coolest t-shirts to buy apon leaving!

This place has better Tres Leches than the other outlets! But Chuy's is the best.

Tasty as always. Love their sauce selections. From very mild to way to hot for me, all tasty. Great service too.

They have great tex mex, what they don't have is a lunch menu or lunch portions. It is too far from me for dinner, there are other tex mex locations close, but it's close for lunch.

We have been here a couple of times and the food is always good. Most of the time rhe service is prettt good too but our last visit our server waa extremely slow. We had the food on time but the after service was very dissapointing. He took a long time to fill our waters and extremely long to bring our check. We had to send my son to call on him. He was also seen twice sitting at another client's table talking to her. This is the only single time when the service was less than at par but otherwise we've never had problems.

Always love coming to chuy's. Regardless of location.

Love this Tex Mex place. Salsa and chips are amazingly good. Food is very generous portions and taste authentic. The only downside is the long wait during lunch and dinner hours.

Food was superb as always. Server was friendly and efficient, but rushed us the check; we would have had another drink and maybe desert. However, it is always a great place to eat!

Cost of our meal was $26 something. Server, Micheal, over charged our card by $23 ... Manager was notified and he tried to make light of it. I hardly think of an attempt at being robbed of 23 dollars is much of a thing to smile and joke over. They've lost my confidence at this place. Watch you money carefully people!

Come on, it Chuys, it's good. Unique version of texmex. Consistantly good, not gourmet good, but just yummy.

We always love chuy's! I have only got things to say out all the many many times I've been here to chuy's in all their many locations. Great food good drinks fun environment and the best happy hour in Austin!!!

Good food. Great, friendly wait staff. Hostesses, though, leave a lot to be desired! Rude, unfriendly hostesses that stare at the waiting customers. Easy to ignore them and their rudeness because of the good food amd great waitstaff!

Love coming here with school friends. Always a good time.

Had a few ADA parking so got to get right up front on the side of the building. Did not have to wait part of our party was in the bar area. Once everyone arrived we were given the choice to stay there and push a few tables together or wait for seating, so we chose the bar! It was just as quick a service for all or food and drinks. Wait stuff was promt and helpful the whole time we were there. Our food arrived quickly and it was very very good. Had the Cheese Enchiladas. We had plenty of chips before hand to snack on. so that was great! The whole place was clean and nice and cool. Loved our time there and was not rushed away.

Jalapeno ranch, fajita burrito, boom boom sauce. If you like food smothered in queso this might be your happy place. Always busy, great t-shirts and wonderful service.

Friendly, fun service & atmosphere. Chicken enchiladas are our favorite. They have a sneak peek green chili menu so tried the Pablo's enchiladas. Delicious creamy green chili sauce. We sub a side salad instead of rice & beans and it is an amazingly fresh side salad. Don't miss the creamy jalapeno dip for your chips!

Have been going here for more than 20 years and still very good Tex Mex per dollar.

We visited this place in Apr on recommendation from my colleagues. I was a bit reluctant to go there because I am not a great fan of tex-mex.
When we reached this place there was a huge crowd waiting for their turn probably because it was Friday eve.
We got a place in around 35 min.
But when we entered i was amazed by the size of the restaurant. There were hundreds of people sitting and the service was fast. The taste was great and for 4 people the cost was under 40$ which is great.
I would like to visit this place again.

We've been going to the original Chuy's for over 20 years. Always great service!! Just lately, the to-go service in the Arbor Trails location has been sub par. Wrong orders, unwillingness to make amends...Just not what we've become accustomed to over the years.

Great ambiance. Love the hubcap ceiling. I had the seafood dishes due to dietary requirements. Enjoyed it.

Great atmosphere, service and good food. Has some of the traditional Chuy's ambiance. But also some new tropical like ambiance. Very pleasant. Background music, but not so loud to hinder normal conversation. Sierra was our waitress: great, friendly, understands her "craft" and executes well. Very pleasant lunch with family!

Very solid Tex Mex with quirky decor. I hear that the service can be spotty at times, but I have never had that issue. We had the fajitas and the Elvis memorial combo, and we were very pleased.

Very consistent Tex Mex! Great pit stop if near Costco and not in the mood for WholeFoods. Nate-A-Rita!

The music is TOO LOUD. Food is good, service good. Please provide spoon with coffee . Coffee was not hot.

Chuy's is in Austin original. Their food is extremely good and the chili con queso is probably the best in Austin. Service is always excellent. The only thing that is a downside is that there is sometimes a wait. But that only means that you're at the right place!

Arrive early as it tends to fill up quickly it's so good.

Just ordered take-out and the food was great as always. The young lady who gave us the food was upbeat even in light of the huge impact the current virus is having on the business. Please support your local businesses and restaurants if you can!!

Great food! Everything is pretty spicy but still great option for folks who don't like spicy stuff. Server was pretty great as well.

Food is always consistent here. My family goes often and I'm never disappointed. I usually go for the mixed fajitas while the wife goes for the "Big as yo face" Burrito. We both have allergies and they always do their best to keep us safe. They separate items for me on the Fajitas and charge me less since I can't have many of the side items. Lovely service every time we go.

It s just not what it used to be. I brought a group of 8 friends here. The food was embarrassingly bad.

Unmistakable Austin vibe. The Tex-Mex food is fantastic. Their originals are unbelievably delicious. Any of their green chile recipes are surprisingly spice and great. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is fun. There is usually a wait, but it isn't very long and always worth it.

I am very disappointed in the customer service I have received at this Chuys location. My husband and I love going to Chuys but it seems that the customer service is just not there anymore. A couple of weeks ago we went to Chuys and ordered an appetizer plate with our drinks. We repeatedly asked for plates and utensils (the utensils I received in the package they gave me were 2 knives). Needless to say I did get my fork but we ate on napkins. Today we stopped by Chuys and got a to go order. Well we received half of our food; it appears that the kitchen forgot to put in our sides. I called to let them know and the host kept asking if we were sure we were missing these items. Yes we are sure if not we would not be calling. Finally after having finally convinced the host that we did not have our items, she asked if we could go back to pick up the items. I let her know we were not going to drive all the way to their restaurant to pick up sides so she begrudgingly decided to send me a coupon for a free appetizer. She did not apologize for messing up the order she just decided to make amends. Don't get me wrong I appreciate the free appetizer but I would prefer to pay for it if it means I am going to get the Correct order that I paid for. I will not be returning to this location again.

Amazing food and service. We always enjoy eating here!

I go here with my boyfriend frequently, it's always been fantastic. The queso and salsa is my favourite of any restaurant, their drinks are plentiful and tasty, and I've never had a tres leches as good as theirs. Servers are also very friendly and accommodating! Wait times can get long during busy hours due to popularity, but on average are very good. I would absolutely recommend this Chuy's.

Good food, large portions and snacked on too much chips and salsa. Service was great at the bar. I was approached as soon as I sat down.

There is a reason you nearly always have to wait for a table at Chuys. It's because they are worth it. The food is consistently terrific for a reasonable price. They maintain a fun atmosphere and offer large portions. Enjoy!

Delicious!! Had the chili relleno and chicken enchilada and hubs had the stacked enchilada. We both fully enjoyed our meals! And the berry margarita was delicious!! Looking forward to going back and trying more!

Great place their margarita machine was out but, they accommodated us anyway they were great. Service was great!!

Some friends and I planned to go to Chuys after a meeting so I called ahead to reserve a table. The woman I spoke with said they don't reserve, but I could send someone ahead of time and they would start setting up. My husband went 15 minutes early only to be told that they won't start setting anything up until half of the party was there. While I get that they have rules, they should make sure all of their employees know them. We all decided to sit at the bar instead. The hostess looked annoyed but didn't feel like waiting another 45 minutes. The waitress we had seemed attentive, the food mediocre. Then came the bill. My husband had added a couple enchiladas to his entree and was told it would be $2 each. We expected another $4 to the plate. Imagine our surprise when the plate came out to $20. Apparently the waitress gave us an "estimate" on how much extra she thought it was. Overall it was a disappointment. Crappy service and just okay food.

Update : the food must have been sitting out for a while because everyone ended up feeling sick. Thanks for the food poisoning chuys!

Loved everything except the beef fajita, it Lacked flavor and had a CHUY ( )texture. The chicken fajita was amazing though.

Food was great! Waiter was awesome! Delfino at Arbor Trails great job!
