Great service, great food. The only thing is the music is so loud it's hard to carry a conversation without saying "what was that?" Like 4 x a minute.

Tuesday's special - Green Chili Pork Enchiladas. Going back next Tuesday for sure
Been going here since I was 9. Just turned 31, and picked this place for b-day dinner. That should say a lot.
Very crowded, like almost impossible to get to the restroom because of all the people standing in the bar area. Don't come after 5 pm unless you are prepared to wait!
Recommended for happy hour (free nacho bar and decent drink prices), but be wary of crowds and waits of over an hour. At least you can hit the bar and munch on nachos while you wait!
Our Waiter Courtney did a very good job very attentive service the food was great good drinks good times let's do it again
I had the Hatch Thursday special: Green Chile Special Combo A Pablo s Enchilada and a chicken chile relleno with green chile sauce. It was delicious. The service "Parker" provided was terrific.
Yammy chicken enchiladas and the chicken releno! Loved the colorful and interesting wall decorations and art work!
We had a good experience. Our server was a little spacey and messed up our order. He admitted he was having a bad day and his mind was somewhere else. My food came out perfect. My husband custom ordered is food. It did not come out as requested. We also asked for avocado ranch. I had to ask the manager for it. The manager is what brought this 3 star review up to 4. The server never came to check on us. The manager was the one topping off our chips. Both employees that I interacted with aside from the manager voiced their opinion about how they can't wait to leave soon. Chuy's normally does a great job but this wasn't our best experience.
Slow service personnel needs lessons in being courteous instead of texting on their phones
Deluxe sauce on chicken enchiladas........wau to go
Always a good decision. Great food, awesome service and atmosphere
I took one bite of their roasted chicken burrito (their burritos are massive, by the way), and I felt like a kid eating my grandma's cooking again. This is the most delicious burrito I've had in YEARS!!
An Austin classic and some of the best Tex-mex you'll find anywhere.
Favorite place to sit at the bar and have chicken enchiladas.
Good food as usual. Been here lots of times and I recommend them usually. Less than thrilled with this last visit. Service was a bit goofy: 1) they tried sit our party of 7 at table for 6, there were lots of open tables, they could have easily combined two tables. 2) they were quite vague about which items did or did not have gluten in them (for two in our party) but to their credit, they were very knowledgeable about vegetarian restrictions (another person in our party).
The menu is currently abbreviated but the selections are on point. Had the Chicka Chicka Boom Boom Enchiladas... O-M-G they are so good! Chicken enchiladas with some magical queso called Boom Boom sauce. You gotta try it! Service what great, everyone wearing masks and social distancing!
Good food and drinks, especially during Happy Hour and reasonably priced.
Loved this place! Really good Mexican food, at very good prices. I'm from UT and wish they had this there, if go all the time.
Very unhealthy place. Saw rats eating leftovers outside. Who knows what inside the kitchen.
Taste wasn't that good as much as I heard of...
Very crowdy and noisy place to have dinner.
Jorge our waiter was delightful and charming. Good food and company here
Amazing service and delicious food. Always a solid choice!
Mary Jane was awesome, food was fast and very tasty
Nice place. One waiter is particularly nice because he's learning Chinese.
Well after an expected 40 min wait to get a table on Friday evening prime time they lost our food so after several apologies from the waiter and with out a single complaint from us the manager came over , explained up front and openly they had some how let or order fall through the cracks and assured us that it was in the oven as we spoke , soon to arrive and it would be completely complimentary ! I must say he drained all the frustration and anger usually associated with these type of events , very professional when dealing with this situation , still dedicated customer !
It has been said that the flower that blooms in adversity is the most beautiful of all. Before the Covid scamdemic , Chuy s had mediocre customer service when dealing with Door Dashers. I dreaded going there because it seemed like I wasn t wanted. Before plandemic, one of the employees told me that they hated us because we took their tips. Fast forward to the middle of the scamdemic, and Chuy s has become everything their hype has made them out to be. Their food is amazing, their customer service is above and beyond, and no matter how how long you have to wait, it s worth it. These guys have stepped into the breach where other places have dropped the ball. I would strongly recommend Chuy s , either take out or dining in, if you can, and any Door Dasher out there that gets a Chuy s order, keep in mind they have some of the best customers on earth. Lastly, the kids who bring the food out to the car for us to take to their customers, are the most polite, professional, and friendly waitstaff that I have met in a long time. They are certainly worth more than they are being paid. Hint! Hint!
My sister lives in Philadelphia area and this is her favorite place for Tex Mex in Austin. The chips and queso are amazing and I am in love with their enchiladas. So good.
Dug that nacho bar. Really good mixed drinks, solid steak burrito
Went for lunch, parking was a bit crowded which was expected as this place is great. The service was great, when they drop off the chips and salsa--remember you'll have to ask for the jalapeno dip as it is a true must..
Excellent service, fun atmosphere, delicious food. A family favorite
Pros - great drinks, fantastic happy hour chips and salsa bar ( I could go on about this but as there is FREE queso, ground beef, FRESH made daily salas) consistently good tex-mex food at reasonable prices and a hilarious line of Chuy's themed t-shirts. Outdoor seating is available and at night I would highly recommend it!
Cons - Loud, almost impossible to have a conversation during peak times in the bar or dining area. Tons of kids, considering the location, close to Circle C, it's not a surprise that this is a family restaurant. Service can sometimes be spotty.
Overall I would give it 5 stars for the consistency, price and atmosphere.
Always understaffed, always unorganized, always rude staff. The management across the board couldn't care less about customer service and should be replaced.
My coworkers and I come here for lunch and the service and food is always good!
Amazing food, only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is cus the service was kind of slow. Definitely recommend the creamy jalapeno sauce!
This place is perfect. Affordable, high quality, and awesome service. And, this location's outdoor dining area is perfect for our young boys to explore while we wait for seating or after we've finished our meal.
A great Austin original I highly recommend their frozen margaritas
Great food! Luv their Boom Boom enchiladas! And their New Mexican Martinis hit the spot
Very nice ambiance, good location and services and very delicious texmax food with good option for veg and nonveg.
Great food for a night out!
Patrick was our server and he was on his A-game tonight. Extremely attentive, great insight into the food, and never left us waiting.
Had the Wednesday special (Cosmic Combo) it was excellent!
Matt was an amazing server with a personality to match! Food was delicious as always!
Not the same as the original place on Barton Springs blvd where Bush daughters got busted but same menu. Too suburban for this inner city kid.
Great food, great staff, and increasingly this location is just as good as the original one downtown
Food not as good as I remembered. Service was great. "Manager" apparently didn"t know how to manage. He walked around, head down looking at his electronic device, no eye contact. Doubt I'll be back.
New Mexican martinis are great! Love the Mexi-Cobb salad and Baja Tacos!
Was okay. Not as good as I remembered. Also, getting expensive.
Service was ok. The queso twas pretty good as was the frozen margarita.
The service was really good and so was the food and drinks.
My favorite Tex-Mex restaurant! They have a great happy hour with their trunk nachos, but going any time is great. Make sure to ask for some creamy jalapeno to dip your chips in & I'm a big fan of the deluxe tomatillo sauce on my food.
Great place for Tex-Mex and queso! Their menu is pretty consistent across their various locations, but they usually have a seasonal or trial menu that's really good. Their beer selection is pretty limited, but they've got good margaritas. There's somewhat limited seating inside, but they also offer outdoor seating, and their outdoor area is pretty nice and clean. The decor inside is very vibrant, so a lot of loud colors. It's a cool spot to grab some tasty tex-mex and a few drinks.
Not Mexican food, but they don't claim to be. Probably one of the best TexMex spots in town
Love the food but I'm giving them 1 star until they fix the to-go containers. It's nearly impossible to open them and it's infuriating every time. Change the lids... Do something.
Anne Marie is a great service employee, we come for Thursday happy hrs and respect her services!
Love this place! Not a high-end restaurant, but definitely a go to for great Mexican food. And their Margarita isn't bad either.
Can't go wrong with the chicka chicka boom boom enchiladas
Always great food and service. Been going to Bargon Springs original location since 1983.
Ordered the house margs. Although service was slow on a Saturday night, the margs weren't that bad at all. I had the steak burrito with boom-boom sauce. Get that. The burrito was massive and slathered in the spicy molten lava that was the boom boom sauce. The steak itself was tender and juicy, and the vegetables prepared with love. I'm not a beans kind of guy, but I actually ate them as they were hot (temperature) and flavorful. Mildly tacky decor inside, but overall, a great meal.
Excellent tex-mex food, great service. Nice, fun atmosphere.. portions are huge, think about sharing!
Good place for family and friends to dine out. Good food with Tex-max taste.
Great place - good food - hard to make an impact in the Mexican food category in ATX, but they never disappoint (the drinks are great too)
Good Mexican food friendly service makes for a week to remember
I am sorry to say this but this one waitress was just plain racist....she never made eye contact, not a greet, after waiting about 10 min. She took our drink order, but got it wrong, then we didn't get menus, had to ask for them, her taking a deep sigh like it was a bother. Finally was able to stop another waiter, Erwin, complete different attitude. He was very attentive, kept stopping to see if everything an drink's were good. Some folks have no business serving customer service period, thanks but no thanks!!! She did lose out on a good tip!
Good food. Wish they would open a location in Dripping Springs
