The place was well maintained and it was a good place to pray and remember how Jesus taught his disciples with the 8 Beatitudes. The view of the Jordan river was very nice and calming.

Good holy place parking is not free and also toilets are not free...

The basilica that stands here is located at the point where jesus gave the famous address of the Beatitudes. The tranquility of this place overlooking Lake Tiberias carries the mind and heart to 2000 years ago.

9.3.17 - The grounds are charming and the church itself is small, but pretty to walk through. To enter, your shoulders must be covered. There are other areas that require a nun to accompany you, but I'm not sure how much that is actually enforced.
