The place where Jesus is said to have given the Sermon on the Mount, one of his most famous speeches, has an indescribable energy. Feel an incredible peace in your gardens. It is worth "wasting" a few hours contemplating the place.

Very scenic and appropriately informative for New Testament contemplations.

Taken aback when I experience the place where my Lord Jesus discoursed the sermon on the mount. There is a church built by the catholic, which is octagonal in shape to represent the beatitudes. This is designed by the famous Italian architect Antonio Barluchi

Beautiful monastery with an even more beautiful garden which is inhabited by little parrots. As one can image, the place is quite crowed with tourists. But it is okay until around 10am. The view in the sea of Galilee is amazing as well as long as the weather is good!

Very, very nice view of the Sea of Galilee. Calm. Be sure to eat in advance, there are only snacks on the mountain itself.

An unforgettable experience. The temple is Catholic, but it s very interesting and informative for us Orthodox Christians to see and visit this place. For Christians, this place is special and very significant.
The territory is well-groomed and very beautiful views and panoramas of the area.

The miracle of the mountain bug is one of the fundamentals of the Christian religion and in this place Jesus Christ gave the law of life in this place and I feel wonderful to stand in the same place today and the place is arranged and the trees are fruitful and the gardens are bound and the order and place is more than wonderful and I recommend visiting

Mount of the Beatitudes is a 20th century Catholic tradition of placing the "Sermon on the Mount" on a hilltop near Capernaum. The Otagonal church and the panoramic viewpoints from the site are breathtaking!

A mosaic of pilgrims from all over the world to pray in this church. It has been consecrated since 1938; Cardinal and theological virtues on the square of illustrious mosaics. Inside, under the octagonal golden dome, the 8 beatitudes of the Gospel of Matthew are reproduced. the church is built near the place where Christ delivered his "sermon on the mountain"

the octagonal chapel of the church is located on top of the Mount of Beatitudes where Jesus spent the whole night praying and when it was day I called his disciples to him and chose twelve to whom he gave the name of apostles. the octagonal church recalls the eight beatitudes which are inscribed one on each wall. the mosaic of the floor is decorated with symbols of the virtues of man mentioned in the sermon, from the balcony you can enjoy a wonderful view of the lake also called the Sea of Galilee

The hosts were spared nothing of us, the monastery clean and immaculately clean, a beautiful fountain, an impressive fountain, a view of the Sea of Galilee, shaded seats, 2 buses and 91 guests, an excellent lunch at a reasonable price above expectations. Thanks to the patient Suhair, Miriam and the whole kitchen staff!

The view was amazing and it was easy to find your way around from the church at the top to the welcome center.

Nice well maintain garden. Half an hour will do. We hike up to the place. Look for some sitting rock just overseeing the lake outside the sidegate. JESUS probably sat on the stone and preached to the crowd. Obviously, He didnt preached at the current building.

Not the Monastery but the view from the top of the hill overlooking the Sea of Galilee. The church also has charm and is important for the Christian visitor.
