Another family tradition on our trip to Myrtle Beach....completely disappointed this year. We will no longer highly recommend Chuck's.
The list of disappointments include rushed service, missing food and drinks, steaks not cooked properly... We had our friends join us after we bragged how good it was .. I was completely embarrassed. Flaming Grill beat Chuck's by a mile. And also The Claw in Murrell's inlet , which we had never been to, was amazing. A sad day after 20 years of eating at Chuck's.

Service was fantastic. Our server was very polite, knowledgeable, and on the ball. Good atmosphere, the inside is suprsingly beautiful after seeing the outside it has a modern cabin like feel. Food was the only reason I can't give 5 stars. Good just not great. Steak was cooked well but flavor lacked. Salad bar was good, clean enough with decent selection. Shrimp scampi looked great, chicken breast looked great, kids chicken fingers looked great. Had a pretty expansive drink menu including 28oz margaritas. Early bird 4-6 and senior menus. Bottom line cool, clean place. Food was above average but not excellent but a nice break from chain restaurants.

Never again. Went here for Mother's Day. It was a disaster. Service was not that good (they were, however, very busy) and our steaks were overdone. Ruth's Chris Steakhouse is right across the street. I'm guaranteed a good steak there and excellent service, even if it costs a bit more.

The staff at Chuck's is excellent, attentive and personable. The food is always on par. If you are lucky enough to sit at the bar and have Keith as your bartender, order a lemon drop martini!

Great filet. Wonderful salad bar too. Wish they offered the tbone steak. Excellent for a date night. Not so much for families with small children. Little expensive. Otherwise great.

Food is not that good....neither is the service. We sent our appetizers back bc the chicken tenders tasted like rubber. I got chicken and my wife got a steak... I ve tasted hospital food with more flavor. The worst part is ... their A/C doesn t and hasn t worked and they know it. We hat to keep going outside bc it was cooler outside and we are in a heat advisory. It bad enough to give a big F U to your customers by not keeping them comfortable but making your staff work in that heat is shameful. We will never go back.

Excellent!! If you leave hungry it's your fault. Tremendous salad bar, free cheese and crackers, free popcorn, free nachos, and that's all just before one of the best steaks you will ever eat.. early bird specials, join their email list to get free food too!!

I thought it was thoroughly mediocre. Pricing is high for quality you get. Better quality and service at texas roadhouse. Salad bar served with steak was not what i expected at this price. Steak was cooked correctly, but just not flavorful or juicy. Disappointing experience, this place has 4.5* how?

I really hate to give three stars because the food was wonderful and the service was pretty good. We made a reservation in hopes of sitting outside on their large deck (because of COVID.) We were told the deck was not open because of them working with 50% capacity due to COVID. We were relieved to hear they were actually abiding by the 50% capacity guidelines and were fine with this as long as we could sit in an isolated corner away from people.

Well, this was misleading. Chuck s was operating at 100% capacity. Every. Single. Table. Was. Filled. Hardly anyone (other than the employees) were wearing masks while away from their table. I mean, I was honestly stunned. I could not believe how packed this restaurant was when they had told us they were operating at 50% capacity. On top of it, our server wore a chin mask instead of a face mask. Smh.

We ended up sitting in our corner and avoided getting up... overall, this just felt like an uncomfortable and irresponsible situation to put customers in.

First off we love Myrtle Beach, met my wife at Apache Campground in July of 1997. Been staying at Apache now for over 30 years. First dinner date was Miyabis, every since we have enjoyed our favorite places to eat. First was Original Benjamin's, Villa Romana, then Captain Georges, where we got to know the whole staff, love them. Matt the manager is amazing. So this time we decided to try a new place, something a little different from our norm. Chucks Steakhouse, called Friday 4/6/18 at 4:56pm wanted to try and make early bird. Had to call several times but got through, call was 2:15 long. Have phone to prove it. Got our reservation rushed over, parking lot was full, we waited in line finally making it to the podium. Bruce says name please, we reply Marlowe party of 3, he replies your not on the list, we are shocked and don't know what to do. As he read the names on the list, the people behind us kept saying that's me, that's me. They looked at us and just said, sorry your not on the list, just dismissed us. We left, emailed them that night, thinking they would make it right. I have the emails. Said they would investigate, I even provided the conversation I had with the person I talked to, I asked questions when I made the reservation. Bruce eventually sends us an email apologizing for not trying to seat us, but also says your phone call NEVER went through. And if we would like to call and ask a manager to book our next reservation, to verify that they got it. We decline after being called a liar. They had two chances to make things right and chose not to, no return responses to my follow up emails, no phone call ECT. So some day we would love to give Chucks another shot, because we understand @$!# happens but wow, no respect at all. We were completely embarrassed, and tried to make things right, that's not how I run my business. If you read Chucks reviews, they normally respond to all their reviews, nope not this time.

We arrived for an early dinner and it was delicious. Steak and prime rib were both perfectly prepared. Our server, Louis, was great. He checked on us just enough. We felt cared for but not hovered over.

Was a really great experience. We ate upstairs in the lounge and their menu was a great selection of different types of appetizers, sandwiches an a great salad bar!! Our waiter, Troy, was the best! He was very attentive, personable and a great server all the way around we're down here for the winter and definitely are coming back!!

My family and I come to Chuck's each year when we come to Myrtle Beach for vacation! Sometimes we even go twice during the week that we're here because we LOVE Chuck's so much! The food here is great and always cooked exactly as we request it! We have never encountered a time when they ran out of prime rib so that's a great benefit (we have experienced this at other restaurants)! There is an open salad bar with all entrees. During COVID, they provided patrons with plastic gloves and required masks, and all wait staff are wearing protective gear, so I felt safe eating inside there.

Also, there is an early bird menu from 4-6:30 PM, senior citizens menu, and happy hour from 4-7 PM nightly.

Was disappointed with the quality of food. Nothing had flavor especially the steak. The salad and roll and sweet tea was the best things. Service was great. steak was under cooked for my wife and i. Wish salad bar was unlimited. You want good steak go to carolina road house

According to our waitress, French Fries are in fact a vegetable. No need for less satisfying broccoli, beans or Asparagus to accompany your steak. Salad bar is iceberg lettuce on tiny tiny small plates. But seriously, not a vegetable to be found in the place, anywhere - I asked twice. Only serious carnivores need apply. Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac and the Doors are on the stereo. The 80's phoned and asked us to send this place back!

Chuck's is a great place to enjoy many dishes, steaks, ribs. My favorite is a 10 ounce cheese burger with bacon. Always hot right off the grill. That's right, 10 ounces , beats everybody else. Burger and fries $10. You can't find a better burger anywhere. Salad bar is available. Self serve cheese and crackers table. Great stuff. Try it, you'll love this place . Always crowded. Make reservations.

Been having a steak there for 10 years but tonight was not up to there standards. I order a med rare steak and it came out almost well done. We had another couple with us so I Did not send it back because I did not want to make dinner uncomfortable for no one. This was not good
