Great atmosphere and customer service as also food...
Great atmosphere and customer service as also food was great.
Great atmosphere and customer service as also food was great.
Great food and friendly staff! Nice atmosphere and seating arrangements. Go early - it fills up fast!
Ordered sirloin steak, got s shoulder sirloin, whatever that is. Baked potato was cold. Not good value for the money.
Service was awful
Waiter didnt know the menu or drinks
Steak was good but over priced
Took an hour for 2 medium rare steaks to come out.
Would not recommend it.
The food and decor were great. The salad bar and cheese and crackers were a great start. Our appetizers with the pulled pork were also very delicious. My steak was juicy and tender. Our waiter BrIan was awesome as well. We will definitely be back before we head back to Chicago this Tuesday. Needless to say my wife was very happy with her Birthday dinner! So thanks again Chucks!
Food and service was excellent but we were at a table where we could see them cooking and plating food.. people with no gloves on touching ready to eat foods and others eating and drinking right on line. Watched a cook dig in his ear and keep plating food. Spoke to General manager he didn't seem to really care..
Get the burger. One of the best burgers I've had in my life. Also, there is an early bird menu if you come for dinner before 6.
Place not that clean, debris on chair and floor, cheese bar was dirty. Waiter was pleasant. Got food in timely manner. We had a party of 8 with 7 ordering prime rib. It was cooked rare for everyone even though we asked for medium, well done, etc.
We went two years ago and had a fantastic experience that is why we went again. We were disappointed this time.
Not going back again.
Best Filet I have had. Perfectly cooked and the Waiter was on top of his game. Enjoyed it very much.
Great place .. prime rib is the best .. get there early .. parking is tight
Great service! Cheese and crackers bar, nice salad bar, steaks we're perfect. Nice atmosphere and reasonable prices - On my yearly place to eat while on vacation.
We arrived on a busy Saturday night. We did not make reservations but luckily they accommodated my party of 5. Our server Dylon was superb. He was attentive, friendly and very nice. Salad bar was not attended too with many things missing, multiple customers were also complaining. The food was good and has a lot to choose from.
Service was more than fair food was excellent went with family and was accommodated nicely then me and my wife went by ourselves and the food was excellent would recommend it to all but have your money ready it's not golden corral
First off its a steak house...with no ribeye nor t-bone. I asked the server why there was no ribeye and he straight told me because they cant make as much money off it...wow that blew me away. I ordered the NY strip, over cooked, way over priced and incredibly bland, I dont even think they seasoned it with salt and pepper and had to use A1 for the first time since i was probably 10 years old. Salad bar was great with quite a bit of selection for toppings. Complementary Cheese and crackers were a nice touch but unfortunately you had to get up and serve yourself. I wouldnt recommend to dine here but my server recommended a great Italian steak house across the street with an awesome ribeye and great sourdough rolls. Lol
Stake was burt and they got mine and friends order wrong but.over all food was kinda good.
$5 from Miller Lite bottle?! The food was okay I had the ribs came with fries
The food is great, if your coming into to the area. The quality of the food is fantastic and is well priced. Its a great place to bring your kids, so don't sorry about the end pirce. The atmosphere of the place is old rustic feel. It's what great place I recommend it to everyone.
Amazing staff! Incredible food and happy hour is cheap :)
Normally this is a great place. It is on the waterway and very quaint. Happy hour everyday from 4 to 7. $10 drinks that wont3 disappoint. I suggest you order at the bar so you can make sure the bartender does ya right. But they recently opened back up. Our new york strip steak came out well done and was dry (we order med well) the shrimp scamppie was that great. The tables are still close together so social distancing is issue. But our waiter was great. 4 of us ate and had one happy hour drink a piece and total was $170.
Been coming here for a few years now. Keith is the best.. come see him at the bar. Great happy hour and great steaks!!
Fantastic as usual. Filet mignon to die for, special y with the melted Bleu cheese crumbles melted on top at my request.
So so so good!!!! One of our new GO TO places for vacation
I ve lived in Myrtle Beach my whole life (21 years) and never have made it to Chucks until last night. Everything about this place is absolutely amazing. The food, atmosphere and service. There was a line out the door when we arrived and the staff was ready and knew excatly how to handle it, which I love because I am a restaurant manager myself. Bartenders are very kind and nice. The barback is awesome! He was working his a** off and was keeping up with everything very nicely. Such an amazing place, definitely coming back.
We left before eating because our server was incredibly rude. He acted like my husband was stupid and then acted like my celiac disease was an inconvenience to him. I had found them on an app for finding restaurants with gluten safe options. I asked him for some guidance with the menu and he said, with much attitude, "you're the one with the allergy." He went to get someone who "might be able to help," but we left without eating.
Was disappointed with my filet mignon. Told waiter that she gave me wrong steak. She said it was correct and that's they way they serve them. Filet mignon does not have fat. She was rude so I didn't bother. Was told best steak in town. I would have to disagree. Total waste of $.
Great food and atmosphere. John our waiter was very nice, polite and helpful give that man a raise. Salad bar was great, and the complimentary cheese and crackers was good. French onion soup is one of the best we ever had. We eat here everytime we come to myrtle beach. We had teriyaki steaks, crab cakes, and kids ad the chicken finger meals. And the famous large goblet beer.
My family and I just stopped by not hearing anything about the restaurant and it's by far the best we have visited! If you go ask for Kathy she was the BEST!! She kept our glasses full, made us feel welcome, and checked on us very much!! Best place ever!!
Great food and service, make reservations to avoid wait during prime dining hours
Excellent food, great prices, beautiful view & our server Dylon was terrific, very attentive & informative.
Great food and our server John was awesome people need to hire more people like this guy for their wait staff
We were treated wonderfully by the Laura who helped us be seated quickly and in a private setting. She is absolutely delightful even though we were there during the rush hour. Our service and food were wonderful and we will be going again because we had such a great time. Myra
We love coming here! Such an amazing place! The food is always amazing, and the staff is nothing but welcoming!!
Steaks were perfectly cooked, lobster perfectly cooked, margarita perfectly mixed, and the salad bar they offer is amazing!
If you re looking for a great dinner we can t ever recommend this place more!
Just go!
What a great experience we had with everyone of us got the steak and lobster I had to have the French onion soup too. The food was excellent and our waiter Louis best waiter we ve ever had anywhere took time to ask us where we were from how are we enjoying our vacation just awesome.
Best by far food and service that we have had here in Mrytle Beach. Robert our server was amazing and attentive. Would recommend to anyone looking for good salad, burger or steak; everything was fresh.
We had a wonderful experience, our first time there but we went with friends that have been going there for years, Great food, friendly staff, our waiter Jim was awesome and so were the Bartenders
Food was good , the waiter can use some help but I will go back
best in myrtle! try baby back ribs! salad bar stinks
Been coming here over 20 yrs. Excellent as always. Our server, Pam, made the experience perfect. Filet mignon was done to perfection.
Oh Chuck!
My wife and I went to Chuck's for a birthday celebration. Their French Onion Soup was very good and the wait staff was excellent. They had an old english pub feel to them and unfortunately, that meant a lot of old stuff hanging around. If I hadn't gotten so shnockered, I think the dirt and the dust and the basic decay would have bothered me a little, but hey, I made it though!
First time here. Food and service were both good. Recommend.
First time here celebrating our anniversary. Was extremely pleased with not only the food as it was cooked to perfection. The service was phenomenal. We felt comfortable from when we first arrived. Our waiter Aaron :) was awesome had us laughing all night. Thanks for a best experience
The staff was fantastic we were seated immediately, the food is second to none. Very enjoyable place to eat
Probably one of the best steaks I've had. Definitely will be back. Bill our server was amazing. Thank you for the great experience.
I went here with my boyfriend last week while we were vacationing in Myrtle. We stayed for 8 night, and this was our favorite restaurant out of all the ones we tried (7 for the week). We both ordered the early bird special with steak. The salad bar was phenomenal, though a bit crowded (this was to be expected). Everyone wore gloves since they are required. I was disappointed in the fact several of those in front of me in the salad bar line were not wearing their face mask though. This is not the restaurant s fault, however. Our sever (not sure of his name) was great. We sat in the sunroom portion facing the water and our sever also had many tables inside. He did well managing both the customers inside and outside. I would recommend this place to anyone! Their tea is also super fresh. Everything about our experience here was perfect. I wish there was a Chuck s where I live! Not to mention, we went when the sun was setting and the little candles on the table made the evening very romantic.
The atmosphere is very warm & inviting and our waitress was friendly & efficient. We ordered appetizers which were disappointing. Wings were dry & tasteless & the beef bites were so salty that I could not eat them. We decided not to eat dinner here since we were not impressed with appetizers. We might try them again to see if they change chef who loves salt way too much.
Amazing food and service. A definitely myrtle beach must!
Salad bar was really good. Service was good. My steak was average, ordered medium and it was medium well when it arrived. I can deal with it. Another person at our table ordered medium well and it was medium. I think they mixed up our steaks. They were seared pretty hard on the outside as well and a little burnt. I tried a piece of the teriyaki sirloin that someone else with us ordered and it was fantastic. I would definitely recommend getting that.
Edit: been here a few more times now and it has been great! I always get the 14 oz teriyaki sirloin cooked medium rare. You wont regret it.
Overall I had a wonderful experience here. I was pleased with my food, and the bites that I had from others at our table.
I'm not a big salad eater but I loved the salad bar. I mainly like dark lettuce. They had the lettuce seperated by the type so it was easy for me to get a plate of what I wanted instead of picking it out like with some other places. Good amount of toppings and dressings to choose from as well.
Our meals were great. I normally get a filet when I go to steakhouses but I tried the bigger sized teriyaki sirloin. It was perfectly cooked, with plenty of flavour. My father had ordered the hamburger and said it was the biggest burger he had ever gotten from a restaurant. He cut me a small part off to try and it was fabulous. One of the best burgers I've ever had.
Next time I am back in town to visit them I will definitely be coming back here for a meal!
Happy hour is always enjoyable when Dustin is working. We especially love the happy hour food and drinks.
Be careful that you don't fill up on all the free goodies before cutting into a great steak. Salad bar is good too.
Melt in your mouth primerib. Awesome salad bar with complementary cheese and crackers. Great service and pleasant atmosphere. However, the brown butter Bundt cake.. not so good. But worth it for the primerib.
One of the best if not the best places in Myrtle Beach to eat! It has become a tradition and must go place.
Great place for drinks and pub food. Free popcorn, nachos, and cheeses with drinks. Go at for to get a seat in the pic section. In main room there is a full steak menu. A great 90s salad bar.
We ate at our first Chuck's Steakhouse in Hawaii many years ago and have also enjoyed the one in Fort Lauderdale. This was our first time at the one in Myrtle Beach. Since we were there early we decided to have the early bird specials. These include a one trip through the salad bar and a selection of entrees. The salad bar was great and had a large selection. My wife had the Chicken Breast and was very happy with her choice. Our waitress recommended the Prime Pork Ribeye, cooked medium, and it was an excellent choice. We would eat here again, easily.
A guy with a hood grunted at us and opened the door that was the doorman. Then the hostess barely looked up to inform us it was a 20 min wait. When I asked about eating in the bar area she actually said sure there are dirty tables in there. Waiter never introduced himself and never checked on steaks which had an off putting taste and were under cooked. The salad bar smelled like cheap bottled dressing.I Have nothing positive to say.
Long wait and just an average steakhouse. Service was fast once we were seated but reminded me of an upscale Bonanza.
Chucks is the best restaurant at the beach always clean and friendly staff
Delicious everything is wonderful very clean lots of food a little pricey.
It was okay...pricy for what we got...but our wait or was terrific.
Went there for my birthday, got seated on the deck/indoor patio. It's great up there because the lake is to the back and you will see boats go by plus it gives you that outdoor feeling on the inside. Great background music, friendly staff who really exceeded expectations. And the food is delicious. Shrimps, ribs fall off the bone, steak is just mouthwatering. You really have to try it to know what I'm talking about. Prices not bad, you can also order off the happy hour menu if you wish.
Lovely atmosphere, good food and service. What could be better
Been coming for years. Glad to see it open again. Great food and staff. Since 1979!
