Overpriced for poor quality food and bad atmosphere.

Steaks were amazing and the chocolate martini was to die for!

Awesome. If you come to myrtle beach, don't miss chuck's.

Went here this last week while on vacation. Was recommended by a friend and it was soooo good we had to go back a second time in the same week. Great atmosphere. Great salad bar. Great steaks. And most of all great service! Both times our steaks were cooked exactly like we ordered. Will eat there again next time we are in the area.

Food was hella expensive but was totally worth it. One of, no, the best steakhouse I've ever been to.

Bad,bad, bad. Been going there for 15 years. Used to be great,but a few years ago it changed. Quality went down, service went down, wait time went up.
We stopped going. Decided to give it one more try.
Went there last night. Lots of empty tables, but we still had to wait 45 minutes.
When our food arrived our steaks were awful. Sent two back. They were black on the outside and raw underneath. Second order was just as bad.
We paid our bill, ate the salad and bread and left.
We wont be going back.

Delicious food with a nice salad bar and reasonable prices. Wish there more cuts of steak offered.

Due to the lockdown during phase one, Chuck's announced they were closing forever, but thankfully for us and the rest of the dining public, they have reopened! We own a condo in Cherry Grove, so we're down once a month, and so glad Chuck's is back in the rotation of our go-to restaurants! Chuck's is reasonably priced with excellent kids' and seniors' and early bird menu selections. Their salad bar is the best we've ever been to, and even with COVID restrictions in place, we felt quite safe in visiting the salad bar - they provide disposable gloves for your dominant hand so that nobody has to touch the serving utensils. The same goes for their taco bar and cheese and cracker station. We had 4 adults, 3 children in our party, and all of our meals were done to perfection. Excellent selections of seafood, beef, and chicken dishes. Chuck's accepts reservations and also will accommodate walk-ins. THANK YOU CHUCK'S FOR FINDING A WAY TO REOPEN!!

Always top notch and they have a nice touch with the salad bar. Great steaks...

My husband and I was on vacation.Husband decided he wanted a good Steak, as we headed to LongHorn he noticed this restaurant. Fingers crossed we decided to give it a try. My husband s prime rib had a little too much fat but it still was delicious. My burger was good as well. The waitress was nice but the seater (long straight highlighted hair)seemed to be having a not so good day. We watch her as she seated other customers, thinking maybe it was just us, but she was consistent with her attitude. Maybe she was tired. Anyway, we enjoyed our meal and would return again.

Ok, so first of, this place is almost too good to be true. Ill break it down.

1) The decor is incredible, im sitting here right now, and the attention to detail is amazing. From the mock library, to the wood fernishing, to the fireplace, it seems very homely.

2) variable prices. Theyre menu has burgurs from 8.75, to surf and turf for 49. You can bring friends knowing they wont be uncomfortable with a budget.

3) food is AMAZING. i have never had better burgers, steak, or sandwiches. Ok the ribs could use some work, but eveeything else was prime.

4) COMPLEMEMTARY CHESSE AND CRACKERS. LIKE WHAT?! its the only place ive been to on this beach to offer this, 10/10.

All in all great place, highly recommend to anyone who enjoys eating.

Great salad bar and excellent steak. Our server Brian B was great and we were seated immediately with a party of 2 at 6:30 pm. Has a hunting lodge atmosphere and generally good vibes. Very open feel.

Great good, however a bit pricey. It's worth it for the steak. If you go for seafood hear be warned the portion size is small

Love the salad bar! The view is nice. However, they have a small bar area and try to squeeze a lot of ppl in there for the happy hour deals so they tend to get really loud. If you are wanting a quiet meal go during non-happy hour times.

First time visiting. I was impressed overall. I had the 7 oz sirloin steak, cooked medium, with a loaded baked potato, and it was perfect. I opted for the salad bar, and was not disappointed. Fully complimented with the traditional fair, but it was fresh and fully stocked. I would have like having the warm bread, brought to the table, as opposed to being on the bar. My wife had the 1/3 rack of pork ribs, and they were good, but needed more sauce, baked potato was large, hot and tasty. I had an Arnold Palmer to drink, and it was okay, at best. The decor was great, but service lagged due to our server being new. Pricing is a little steep, but not a deal breaker. We will definitely return.

Too much food and beer at too little of a price! If you're reading this, don't go! More parking for me!

Absolutely worst Steakhouse anywhere , steaks were tough, fatty,and no flavor and surprisingly expensive , what attracts people here is the terrific happy hour with half price drinks.

Great service and steaks. Expect a big crowd and wait times. But worth it. $$$ ,wine costs were not over the top either.

Excellent dinner! We had steak and shrimp scampi. Simply fabulous ! My son had a burger he said it was amazing. My daughter had the steak tips and ate them all. Great family place

The best 10 oz salmon I've ever eaten. They should get a ten Star because 5 stars doesn't do justice for them.

We had read raving reviews on Tripadvisor about this place and thought we would try it out. We were seated right away.The waitress
Come right over for our drink order. My husband told her he would like water. She stood there staring at him, he repeated himself twice more. She stood there still staring at him. He said it again louder. She looked confused, he told her yet again. I then told her about 3 times. She acted like no-one orders water. She finished taking the drink order and then a different waitress waited on us for the remainder of the meal. She was nice but very slow. We waited at least 40 minutes for our food. The steak was dry and flavorless. They only have 3 sides to order from (baked potato, rice or fries), The kids and I ordered fries. They tasted like they had been cooked in old oil and were cold. We poured ketchup all over them just to eat them. The chicken was flavorless and so dry you would choke you. I had one bite and barely got it down. It was supposed to be a 10 oz piece of chicken but was so tiny my 3 year old reached over and picked it up and it fit in her hand easily. It was more like a chicken strip. The reviews we read raved about this place saying it was the best around. If that's true please visit The Peddler or The Park Grill in Gatlinburg, TN so you can see what real food and service are like. We are locals to Gatlinburg and are accustomed to great food and service at a steak house that charges this much. We paid $16.99 for the chicken and fries at Chuck's and couldn't eat it. Waste of money and time.

This makes our 3rd visit to Chuck's in a couple of weeks time...awesome food...the beef filet melts in your mouth...awesome service...John was very attentive and took great care of us! Chuck's is a must every time we visit our home away from home!

Food good, staff excellent. Just not a true steakhouse. No Ribeyes, limited kind and size of steaks. Salad bar was adequate.

Love this place, really sorry to see them shut the doors. The reason for the 1 star is because many people like myself bought Gift cards in December and now stuck with them, Adam needs to refund everyone back who purchased these gift cards.

This was definitely a meal worth 5 stars. The service was extremely attentive (John), the blue cheese dressing was perfect, cheese and crackers- nice touch, the VERY fluffiest baked potato that I have ever had, and the prime rib was perfectly marbled and perfectly cooked. This was my first time at Chuck's and I will most certainly be back. I was texting friends and family after every bite about how good it is... Thank you for a FANTASTIC meal experience!!

This is the most amazing filet mignon we have ever had. We are from Pennsylvania and we wanted to end our trip with a great steak house! I'd give 10 stars if I could. The atmosphere was so nice and comfortable. Staff was friendly and overall just A++

Many like it but it was just not up to the standard for the price of the food.

Steak was great and they have excellent ranch for those who like to dip their fries in it!

This use to be my favorite place to have dinner on vacation. It's been years and now I live here in Pawleys Island. Took the wife tonight for dinner and boy it was fantastic. Just like I remember. Great job and thanks

Steak was amazing. I suggest the teriyaki flavored ones. The sauce that they give you is addicting. The service was top notch as well. When we arrived my kids were a bit cold. We were in the back room. The server adjust the temp not to be too hot or cold and he also kept the refills coming.

Food was horrible got the prime rib which had nothing but fat on it and was made like a cheesesteak! My husband got the 14 oz sirloin which smelled like someone's ass!! Too pricey for the quality liked the salad bar that was prob the only thing they had going on bc it comes with your meal and the kids meal!! I have to say the tea was fantastic when I sent my prime rib back waitress didn't ask what was wrong just took it off the bill like she had already knew it was crap! Would never come back!!!!

First visit here and I will definitely be back! Our server, Brian, was awesome! Gave us lots of great info and was great conversationalist...that goes a long way for us!! We were there during happy hour/early bird, so we literally were killing two birds with one stone. Food was delicious and the salad bar was perfect!

Been going for two years. Tonight was the worst food ever. Very disappointed, gonna give it a rest for year or so. Do not order Prime Rib sandwich, or Crab Cakes.

Salad bar was fantastic and their Prime Rib would make you slap your momma. $$

Great place to eat! The Long island was also delicious! Had the filet, it was perfect! Melted in your mouth and seasoning was excellent! Salad bar was also well stocked with a wide variety of items. The rolls were fresh and fluffy. Self serve nachos and popcorn to snack on at the bar while you wait to be seated. Cozy feeling and friendly staff. Never had to wait on a refill!

I would have given 5 stars but bake potatoes were cool not hot.

The quality of food has gone down. Service has always been excellent! Food - 2, service -5. I had a basic hamburger I asked for medium well and it wasn t cooked all the way. Another individual in our party had a fillet mignonette ordered medium and it was overcooked. It looked more like an end piece, not a center cut. The second steak was another end piece and overcooked to be tough. The chicken we had was so tough and dry, we couldn t eat it. Even if you flame cook, you should still cook it to order. The meat was a lot better yet now it s not as good of a selection of meat. I m new to the family and they ve been coming here for years. This was only my second time here and the service and salad bar have always been the best part and consistent. Food has not been. For the price, people expect more. Start with your cooks. Thank you and we will certainly give it another try next time we re in the area.

Ordered Filet medium rare got it rare. I mean rare rare.
