We visited this location on whim, July 2020. The atmosphere was great! Not too crowded. Every staff member that we came in contact with was super nice, very polite, and very helpful ! The food was amazing! Our waitress was one of the best that I ve ever been in contact with. I would recommend this location to anyone!

Excellent food. Free cheese and crackers. Really big glasses for mixed drinks. Nice big tables for big parties. Excellent service and very friendly wait staff. A little on the pricey side for families, but happy hour reasonably priced.
Service was horrible- told them we had a show to go too and we had two hours- party of six- service was horribly slow/ steak was too well done- they were annoyed when I said steak was tough/ another member of our party ordered a steak and waitress dropped it/ not a joke- this caused her not to eat because of showtime- place must have been sold because it's a mess- go there at your own peril - use to be good
Nice atmosphere, our server was friendly, helpful and attentive. Our steaks were tender,cooked to perfection and delicious. Potato was well cooked and the salad bar was filled with many tasty ingredients! I had heard this place was good and it definitely is. Well worth the price!!
Happy hour at Chuck's. As always great again. Come here every year. Great food great happy hour prices and selection. Great friendly service. Big 28 oz. Goblets. Only downfall is micholob ultra, Amber, and Stella on draft. But very cold served in frosted glasses. Plus snacks out for happy hour. Come early gets packed.
Food was very good. Try to call ahead they need a 2 hour advanced notice but they were able to squeeze us in. Food was very good and the salad bar was stacked. We all left very full

Liked the restaurant. The decor was different but interesting. The food was good, but nothing to write home about... especially in that higher price range. This place claims to be voted best steak in 2016, yet it had no signature seasoning. It just tasted like meat... I know that sounds strange, but you true steak lovers will know exactly what I'm talking about. And, unfortunately, my husband took me there for my birthday and our waiter had the personality of a tree stump. Very impersonal, inattentive, cold, and sloppy... Dribbling the water all over the table whenever we asked to have our glassed refilled.
Great prime rib and salad bar. A bit expensive but otherwise a very cozy place to sit and enjoy a good meal.
This place is crowded but they have an awesome happy hour and early bird menu from 4 to 7.
Happy hour was fine. The beer was cold the prime rib sandwich was tasty. And the price was right.

Great dinner! I got the Sirloin, it was cooked to perfection but could have used more seasoning. My mom got the Pork Chop and she was in love. Our waiter was great and attentive. The hostess was extremely rude to not only us but other patrons. Definitely not someone you should have greeting guests as they come in. Despite that we really enjoyed our dinner and would love to go back.
Food excellent and always has been. Been going there for years on our golf trips.

Fantastic steak, salmon, and bacon cheeseburger according to my family. Dustin was a great server and met our every need.
Communication must not be good between the waiters/waitresses and the cooks. For a drink, I ordered a Virgin Pina Colada. They still put rum in it. For my burger, I asked for no tomato and no onions. I still got tomato and onions on my burger. It also did seem to take a while to make 4 mixed drinks. But the steakhouse definitely had the lodge feeling, and the salad bar wasn't half bad. The waitress was nice and friendly, despite the mistakes.

I've been visiting Chuck's while on vacation every year since I was a young girl. It never disappoints! Such a great atmosphere with great service. Delicious salad bar, and the steaks are out of this world! If you're visiting Myrtle Beach, Chuck's Steakhouse is a must!!
Saddened by the $36 16 oz prime. Terribly cooked with a luke warm potato. The other 2 steaks were just as sad. An indicator that it wasn't just us... people were going to the salad bar. Waiter was less than helpful and climate was dark.
We came here for happy hour with a group of friends. We had never been here but our friends highly recommended it. AMAZING! Free snacks, huge drinks, appetizers were priced well and great tasting. We'll be back next time we are in Myrtle. Oh, almost forgot.. excellent service also. It gets busy fast ( totally understandable) so get there early!!!

Prime rib was out of this world. Service was great. Shrimp scampi awesome as well. Green beans and mushrooms a little overcooked for my taste, but some people like them like that. Very family run feeling and casual atmosphere. Loved that prime rib and cream horseradish!
Prime rib was all grizzled and not edible for both my wife and I. Was replaced with another serving, and the second was just as bad. Was not going to stay for a third try. Any decent chef would not allow that meal to leave his kitchen! Sorry, but was very dissapointed!
Had been waiting to go for 4 months on our vacation, didn't disappoint at all. Salad bar was good and food was GREAT! Price point very reasonable. Will go back if on vacation there again.
Setting nice setting but my sirloin steak was not done good and a little tough. The prime rib was excellent and the other steaks all looked really good but my particular steak that evening was not the best still give this place a try.

Incredible. We've lived here near 3 years. Everyone says, 'ya have'ta go!' Though we don't like the summer/tourist crowd... So we went. Packed on a Saturday (off season surprised, yet great sign after all) but got an immediate seat. Then incredible began...an attentive waitress, early enough for happy hour drink prices (ask) in the dining room... they offer a nice cheese and crackers station ( very delicious port wine cheddar and Pepper jack), a broad (kills your appetite it's so huge) salad bar... Then dinner... I was blown away. Tender, tasty, excellent sized... Two of us had filet mignon (aced the temp request), my husband had prime rib (a tad too pink but not 'bloody'), and friend had ribs. Gastro-joy, happy all the way around. We are told often too, they have a kuck-butt happy hour. Oh my. Can't say enough how good!
Like the man at the table next to ours said, "That was hands down the BEST steak I've ever had!". I heard him tell the waiter this before the steak I ordered even got to my table. He was so right and I've eaten a lot of steaks over the years. The prime rib was really good too and the baked potato was not only huge but delicious as well. The staff was knowledgeable, helpful and prompt but not overbearing. Its my new favorite place to eat at the beach.

Awesome food! The server was top notch. We went there 3 times while on vacation. The first time we couldn't find a parking spot and the place was packed by 6:30pm so the next day we went at 5 and we had a verity of seating options over looking the intercostal water way. Very clean and both times we went early and left full. The salad bar was excellent with a great verity. I highly recommend it. Go early.

Great atmosphere, waitress was excellent and very attentive. The biggest downfall was unfortunately the food. Very very bland, no seasoning at all on any of the steaks or sides. Shrimp scampi ice cold. Mushrooms out of a can. The weirdest cut of sirloin I ve ever seen. Absolutely tasteless and very tough. Oh and it was ordered medium with a hot red center but was clearly well done with no pink anywhere in site. Really wanted to like this place but I work too hard for my money to spend this much on tasteless, tough, over cooked steak.
Let me say Julia was an outstanding server and if I ever came back it would only be because of her.
My family and I were really excited about trying Chuck's out. While the steak reviews are great, we decided to go with burgers and our son ordered chicken tenders. The tenders and fries had been fried, and then refried. They were all dry and hard. The buns on the burgers were so dry that when we picked them up they crumbled. None of us ate half of our meals, and the waitress didn't even stick around long enough to ask us how our meal was. Super disappointing :'(
First time here and had a great experience. Our server, Katie, was fantastic. Our steak and lobster was cooked perfectly. Great salad bar and the cheese and crackers were a nice touch. We will definitely be back.

We've been coming to myrtle for many years and this was our first visit to chucks. Read the reviews, great service, great steaks etc. etc.
Well, it turned out to be fantastic!
Jason, our server, was great. Interacted with all his customers while at the same time keeping an eye on every table for drinks, dishes, anything needed. After 58 years of shaking, smacking, shoving everything from knives to french fries down the neck of a heinz glass ketchup bottle to get it flowing, he showed me an easy way of getting ketchup to come out of a new bottle. It was a special moment, lol.
His timing start to finish was spot on from introduction to check. I had the sirloin, perfect cook, quite a chunk of meat, tasted great.
My wife had the shrimp scampi, first time she's finished off a full meal so must've been something special, lol.
Really liked the salad bar, not a huge, 300 item salad bar, but everything you need to make a really good dinner salad. You could make a meal of the salad bar itself.

Prices in line with all the rest of the steakhouses in the area but the food, service are a cut above. Will definitely be back on our next visit in june 2021!!!
