I am not a gallery person, but I enjoyed the visit very much. An eclectic mix of everything, bright and cozy building, with all the facilities you need. The staff are friendly as well. A great rainy day activity. And it s FREE!
Fantastic, free, air conditioned, clean bathrooms. Wide variety of installations. Enjoyed myself there.

A lot of great art here. the building is also very interestingly layed out. I'd like it, though, if the "modern art" was less "modern" and more, well, good.

Amazing place to visit, there are two levels with several interconnecting galleries showing a variety of art. There is even something for the children to enjoy hands on! Highly recommend a visit and you can park the car in the underground car park
Fantastic building with great exhibitions.
We went there for the After Dark party and it was well worth it.

The gallery in one floor (2nd) but half the space was closed for installing new exhibits, and the permanent ones were not too interesting. But it's free.
Great exhibitions and paintings. Admission by donation. Good place to spend an afternoon.
Perfect art spot when visiting Christchurch. Parking garage is right in the building. The gallery offers free guided tours which we took. Our guide was excellent in telling us about some of the paintings as well as the arrangement. Some of my favorite pieces are below.
Lovely Museum with some interactive thing for children.
Interesting place to go to. Some of the exhibits were of interest but some were "art" in that "art" sense.
Can't wait to see it again after rebuild renovations.
