Abysymall food selection, barely any covid enforcement's outside of a fever check and masks. Im from NJ and Atlantic City has barriers between guests at tables and slot machines every six feet. Here was not even close and table games were scarce. A great thing was they do have rooms
with minimal amenities but very clean for only $85.00
Its allright I win more money at the local diner than at the casino every time.I came back. August 29th 20 won 15 dollars. But I won 163 dollars at my local diner and 100 dollars another day sorry still no luck at Chinook winds for me.

HOTEL REVIEW:For 70dollar I got a queen bed in a 120sq ft room. I call this the parking lot view room. Hotel looks old from the outside but I guess they remodeled the room in recent years. Don t count on having a quite stay and no decent privacy. I heard a elder lady moaning next door when my tv is still not loud enough to cover their 3mins husband and wife time. You can also hear people walking and talking on the hallway so I will definitely spend 40bucks more to have ocean view room. I had a nice sleep in the comfortable queen bed.

The air quality just doesn't compete with other casinos. Most allow smoking and have a better air management system. Really liked the Aces sports bar up the road at The golf course.
Games were fun as always. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was excellent. Only improvement would be a better alcoholic beverage selection. You're in a state full of amazing wineries and breweries. You can do better.
Lots of fun, but the ventilation sucks! Even the non-smoking section smelled like a dirty ashtray and made my eyes burn.
We enjoyed the casino atmosphere but the food in the Buffett was extremely lacking.. Meat was dry.. Salad was mostly brown and the desserts were thawed out and rather bland and you have the audacity to charge $24.95 per person you should be ashamed
Love Chinook Winds Casino & the hotel is my favorite place to stay. Pool is nice & warm. Great huge jacuzzi too. Stay in the suites & in that building there is a ocean view jacuzzi, sauna, and work out room. Our room had a gas fireplace and great ocean front balcony! Kitchenette, couch, table w chairs & 2 TVs & in room coffee along with Free coffee in lobby. Not super updated, but very clean. Housekeepers were right on it evert day. EASY walkway to beach! Casino is fun. Restaurants are very good too.
The location is beautiful, of course. The casino is nice and the food is good. The staff are friendly and always helpful. Smokng is allowed so, the best thing about it for me is that the ventilation system is impeccable. We will always go back!
Chinook Winds Casino is a larger scale casino located right there on the beach of the Pacific Ocean. The casino offers a plethora of slots games, live poker games, a golf course, arcade, child care, hotel, and late night dining options.
It's one of Oregon's best, though the buffet is not 20% as robust as the one at Spirit Mountain not that far down the highway.
We use to come to the casino for my husband to play slots. Then we would eat the fish and chips at the deli. The whole family loved it. we just went there and i have no idea why they changed the fish and chips it was horrible. I even took it back and had them cook it over again and ya no bueno!!! The next time he wants to play at the casino. i wont be eating there. Why did you have to change the fish?

This place is very fun I had A-blast we spent the weekend in Lincoln City that you see no is a must see spent some time there the casino buffet is very good we went and spent our money and the casino it's always good to let loose and a casino is always the best place to do it

Best Buffet in Oregon especially Friday nights Seafood Buffet
Bright lights, lots of slot play, gift shop, several places to get food (though not worth the money) and event areas.
This casino has it all. Over the past five years it seems to have become a bit dingy/dirty.
There are more bar counters for booze.
Ventilation if you are a non smoker is pretty good.
Play area is still (for now) separate from the building but, rite next door. Better for the kiddos as far as a non smoking environment.
Note: Don't waist your money on the buffet, you'll regret it.

Went with friends but I'm not really a gambler that's why only 3 stars. They scan your temp when you enter and are right on top of cleaning the machines as soon as you get up, masks are available too. Food only served to go style but there is an area to eat inside. Had a decent and fairly priced sandwich.
Lots of fun. Can walk to the beach from the casino and hotels. Just beautiful. Miss it.
The non smoking section is wide open to the smoking section unlike any I've ever experienced so if you're asthmatic don't go. Getting anything from a server was like pulling teeth. Over all it was the worst casino experience I've had in 10 years and I've had plenty. After 45 minutes of this place it was time to go and it felt like I needed a shower.
Felt safe, temperature taken at the door, mask required. Great meal in the Seafood Grill.
If you're going to go here make sure you play Zeus's and use hundred dollar bills where's Max bet! Put in $120 pulled out $1,300! The rooms are affordable if you don't mind not having a view I believe I paid $50 a night! Shuttle service was frequent in on time! Going back tonight!
The staff always seem fairly friendly and the facilities are always clean. It was very quiet this last time and I actually enjoyed it more. My family always stops here when we are in town and enjoy the entertainment, food and drinks available.
It was fun but I sugest skipping the buffet and eat at the snack bar or the Seafood Grill by the hotel. This is the view from the Seafood Grill.

The buffet is slightly better than the normal hometown buffet. Deserts looked and tasted great. Non-alcoholic drinks are included for the $21. I was hoping there would be clams or mussels but those are probably saved for the seafood buffet.

Nice place to stay for few night with our RV. You need to register for winner circle card. Accumulate 40 points (very easy to do) and you can stay 4 nights and if you accumulate 100 you can stay longer. A bit noisy from other rv generator but they have 10 PM to 7 AM quite time. RV parking lot is big with lot of light at night. Security drives through every so often.
Walking distance to beach. Recommend it for over night stay, may be night or two.
Staff is wonderful, food is wonderful, fun is wonderful! What more do you want? Oh - they do that too!
Great casino, small but has plenty to play. Just a few steps from the beach. The staff is very friendly and the location is unbeatable.
I lost $400 here. It was fun. The bingo machines lasted the longest. The blackjack table was fun. It was nice to sit in the non smoking area for a while to let our clothes remember what smelling nice felt like. All in all this is an pretty nice casino and I will be coming back to lose money in the future, you can bet on that.
Went in to gamble a bit. Lots of good games and drink stations are nice. Very nice looking inside and out. Also it Right on the beach
Overall, it wasn't bad. However, the hotel we reserved a room that was a smoking room (not realizing it was still a thing). The team was able to help spray down the room and remove the smoke smell, but after coming home, I had cigarette smoke lingering on my belongings.
The food is "okay" as well, and the steakhouse is pretty bland for being "high end". Stick with the drinks and appetizers here. Buffet wasn't bad but it is spendy.
Enjoyed myself. The casino wasn't stuffed full of people so there were always seats available and at the same time it wasn't an empty room either. The restaurant service was great and the food was delicious. Overall a good time.
Went to Bingo Baller Hunks....had a fun night didn't win though.
Still nice and clean. And doing everything thing they can to keep us cleam and safe. They only let 1000 in at a time.take your temp hand you a facemask if you need one and have hand sanitizer everywhere. They also have cleaning staff who clean up after each person uses a machine. Just leave your chair out so they know it needs clean. It was a pleasant experience. Just wish table games were back. I didn't like the virtual dealer for black Jack. And I miss lucky lemmings.
Had to wait too long for shuttle rooms too small no place to hang clothes too many dragon machines and included breakfast was lousy.

I'm not typically a casino person, but enjoyed myself greatly. Three dining options: restaurant, buffet, & cafe. On Fridays & Saturdays the restaurant gets turned into a nightclub w/DJ. The restaurant & buffet are on the 2nd floor along with slot machines & a room full of pool tables. The 1st floor is large, wasn't fully impressed with the bar. Several blackjack, roulette, & crabs tables with even more slots. Buffet staff were most amiable of workers encountered.
Machines too tight....didnt cash one ticket either night I was there...LOTS OF PEOPLE...every other machine should be CLOSED and they're not. . I had two different people come sit right next to me and they had the whole casino to play in it was annoying

I went in to have a good time, it was hard to get help with anything, though the one lady was nice at the front where I got my players card. The bar tender was a bit rude, telling me to holdy mask from the bottom covering my drink as I took a drink. I spent $600.00, every time I won it was less then my bet.i brought 1200.00 but stopped at 6 realizing it was a fixed gome. I will never come back again.

My family and I have frequented many concert events and have eaten multiple times at the buffet. We have had nothing but good experiences and the staff has always been helpful and friendly. The only draw back that I have seen is that smoking is allowed inside the casino, however, this is not a deal breaker. I find that this casino is a great place to visit for a night out.

We had a room with a view looking right out at the Ocean. Our room was very comfortable and clean. We had a beautiful and relaxing vacation.
We visited the Chinook Winds Casino Resort it was beautiful property right close to the beach it had great service clean appearance and it was the biggest casino I've ever been in
There needs to be more food options with in the Casino.
The motel is our favorite place to stay while visiting the casino. The restaurant on the motel property has excellent fish and chips and other eats. Not happy with their policy regarding Monday give away for monthly theme bears. They stop at 9:00pm. If a person works or whatever the case may be that they can't make It to play earlier to get the 100 points to qualify for a bear then they are out of luck. I personally believe they should have to give them out until 12:00a.m
PowWows here are amazing and any concerts you attend feel as if they're in your living room!

Beautiful casino, on the beach can't go wrong with that. Ordering refreshments is a hassle. Lines are long, no beverage servers on floor that I seen? Slots kinda tight, have never won here I've be here 8 times give or take

Very good food, excellent view and friendly staff. The bar is a cozy place for drinks around the fire. Jeff who is knowledgeable and helpful is often behind the bar. All the appetizers are cut above the standard. Try the clam chowder. You will not be disappointed.
