Horrible service, waited for about 45 min for change. I have a broken ankle, so walking to the cage was difficult especially going up and down the escalator. Plus the machines were very tight. The food in the breakfast buffet, was either cold or dried out, and they still had an hour and a half before change over. We will stay home if we want to play, and eat good food, at Seven Feathers, in Canyonville Oregon.

The smoking and non smoking sections of slot machines - divider is a step. Lol. I love playing slots, but even in the "non smoking area" the smell became too much. We probably stayed less than an hour. But it was fun.
Terrible experience at casino steak house and hotel restaurant. Chinook Winds employees seem to hate life. Steak house was not busy but food was overcooked and cold. Vegetables arrived 10 minutes after dinner. No bread offered. Hotel restaurant was empty and many employees standing around. Server was MIA. Pretty shocking experiences all around. Only got coffee by hollering to servers across the restaurant. Had to circle the rustaurant on foot to find someone to take our money. This was after searching out someone to even give us a bill. No soap in women's restroom. Just plain gross.
Nice place, friendly staff. We visit every couple months. We order lunch usually from the place beside the bingo hall...always tastey and hot. Chix strips and fish and fries.
The bingo staff is always very friendly and fun. Know some of them by name.
I had a great time at the car show today and in the casino
Ok.. We rented 2 full suites for the price of a single room at a fancy pants hotel. Plenty of room inside for a company meeting... Right on the beach. Pool, hottub, sauna. Excellent restaurants....and bar. A little gambling... Super happy with our choice.
Went there for a halloween party. Had a great time. They did what they could to provide a fun environment during the pandemic.
I enjoyed playing the slots. I was a little surprised, it is not non smoking. It's been several years since I was last here. I really enjoyed the Friday night Seafood Buffet. Thank you!
First, 6Im not a casino person based on my experience here. However I will detail. While the staff member operating the deli was polite he openly said "I'm gonna quit" when his supervisor walked away from helping without explanation. Meanwhile, a visibly intoxicated young lady was shouting that "Mask, no mask, it doesn't matter" towards the crowd flipping hers off and on without care. Her friend added "If it's God's plan for you to get corona and die that's it!". The supervisor made no eye contact while resolving the register issue. Other than the polite security guards (excellent attitude given the times and job stresses), the food was good.

I want to let everyone know that they took care of us and were extremely apologetic..I will try them again..they said this is not normal. So the view was very pretty.
We payed 300.00 for a room that was pet friendly..I smelled of urine, there were obviouse pet stains, pet friendly dosw not meen pet dirty. My dog kept finding old dog food and trash in the room. I thought the sheets smeeled dirty. I will never return. Pet friendly should not mean dirty. My allergies flared also meaning the room was not clean. For 300.00 dollars I could have rented a much better room elsewhere..
Stopped by for dinner at the buffet and to play a few slots. Great service and quick entry even with Covid protocols.
The overall quality of the food at the buffet was outstanding. Amazing prime rib. The lemon meringue pie was as good as the ones my mom used to make. Spirit Mountain has a bigger selection but i think Chinook has better food (reminds me of the old Spirit Mountain buffet before they redid it).
We struggled at the slots to find a machine that we could play for a while without running out of money but eventually we found one and were able to play for a few hours. Subjectively it seems like maybe the payouts are better at Spirit Mountain. The non-smoking part of the casino was on the warm side so we played in the main smoking area. Servers came around to take drink orders at the slots which was handy.
If i only wanted to play slots maybe Spirit Mountain would be better but otherwise it's hard to beat Chinook Winds (can't sit on the beach at Spirit Mountain). We're already planning a return visit. It's great to have two excellent casinos near Salem.
The room was very inexpensive and clean and very close to the casino. The room itself was absolutely tiny But served its purpose just fine. Overall we were pleased with the accommodations and would book again given the right circumstances.
Great place to eat and gamble it's just too smoky inside with all that cigarette smoke.
We where there july 11 12 and the young lady help us was very very nice . We where welcomed warmly and help full I will let everyone know you are the best and not high in price. A lo better then Ashley hotel they weren't very nice I will not every go there again. The price

This casino is clean, well maintained and has tons of good security guards and bartenders, etc. The only real complaint is that, when buying concert tickets online I chose my seats, and they are not the seats we ended up in... not even close. It was pretty bad, actually. We were told by a very nice employee though to call and buy over the phone to guarantee the seats we want in the future, so I was happy about that.
The rest of this trip, and all our other trips have been great.
Tried out the lunch buffet. The hot food items were not very appealing. Only thing I got that was fresh and delicious was the shrimp. Salad bar was nice! Love the casino, but next time I ll opt for one of the restaurants in there!
I've travelled all up and down the West Coast play in every Casino from Havasupai Landing Parker Lake Havasu City Bullhead needles and it just seems the staff was extremely rude never again
Casino Smells like mold and smoke. Staff was nice. Game selection was ok. Really crowded. Not as clean as other casinos I have been to in covid times.
All time favorite Casino and definitely made a great impression being the first casino I had ever been to. Always a great time revisitting over and over again
We enjoyed our afternoon at the casino. Slots pay out decent, i spent some time at the tables, and we ended up winning a little for our fun stay. They even have a child care play area that is staffed, supervised, and clean. Kid enjoyed the time too. Overall, fun afternoon for our family. Thanks
I went there again recently to see if the atmosphere has improved as far as feeling safe and having a good time with normal security and staff accommodations. I am glad to change my review to a more positive one and I only wish the non smoking was somehow sealed off from the smoking or a separate area all together. That is a limiter of my trips, as I need to breathe as well as make money. Thank you for the easy going atmosphere. I would recommend this place to friends again.
Play at your own risk! Set a limit if you plan on gambling. The buffet is always a favorite. The all you can eat fry bread is worth the price.

This is a beautiful casino with a lot to do and see. My main problem with it is the overwhelming smell of cigarettes the starts at the front door and stays with you long after you leave. The games are great as is the buffet.

We decided to go to this casino for dinner. None of us had ever been there. We are in the restaurant and the food was wonderful. The staff was friendly, kind and full of smiles. The entire experience was so nice that we stayed to play. We had not intended to do so.
Its clean and they always have something going on from contests to concerts. And of course its next to the Oregon Coast which is beautiful. Lots to do.

Went to the casino and won some money, first try. So we were going to have dinner at the Rogue Steakhouse and was told that we had to have a special members reservation to occupy the ocean front table that was available. Then we went to the buffet and we're told that there was at least a 20 minute wait for the 5 empty tables available. We left. Thanks for the money. A delicious local restaurant were the lucky ones to get that money. Haha. We'll never ever return.

We were on hold with zero contact from anyone for over 45 minutes.
This is the second time we decided to "try" and stop by Chinook Winds. The first time, we learned there were no restaurants open after like 9pm so that was a no since we both were hungry.
This time, we can't even get a hold of front desk to book a room. It's been over 45 minutes and we are still on hold and no one has even dropped a line to say "hold please"
Starting to think at this point, we just find a different casino to explore if we can't even get a hold of yours!
Turns out the calls get sent to a call center in Florida if front desk can't pick up.
Still on hold with them, by the way, as I write this.

I walked in for the first time since virus. I was highly disappointed. No poker. Only 2 blackjack tables with only 3 people allowed per table. I am assuming it will be some time before this will change. Until then I will not be back.
The casino is very clean and the employees are all very accommodating and helpful. Great customer service. Lots of gambling to choose from. There's bingo, slots & table games to play and there is a ton of different slots to choose from. They are on both the 1st & 2nd floor of the casino. If you're hungry their are restaurants in the casino to eat at or multiple other places to eat at within walking distance to the casino. When you've had enough of the casino, the beach is just down the road behind the casino. All in all it's definitely a great escape to have some fun. We had a great experience.
Me and my girlfriend love this view every time we come. The rooms could be a little cleaner but we come for the casino

I had dinner at the all you can eat buffet. It was ok, the prime rib was so tough my jaw hurt after my meal. The prime rib was better last time I was there. I had the chief make shrimp scampi, it was very tasty. I also had some fried bread, it was very tasty. I didn't know what fried bread was until I eat it at this buffet. The service was great. They made sure our used plates were taken care of and we had full glasses of what we were drinking. We gambled some on the slots but it seems like the machines just wanted our money. So we only spent a few hours at the casino.

We went for the Halloween party. Very disappointed in it. The lines for the bar were crazy it took 45 minutes to get a drink and half the people weren't wearing there masks and nobody was doing anything about it. There were not enough tables set up so you had to stand. Way too many people in the room. All around bad experience.

No on the beds even in the suite's! No on the clientele even the belligerent Latin women that cuss a transgendered people. No on the community. No on all of the restaurants, all of them. They fall into my don't eat here unless it's free category. Yes on my wife winning almost $20,000 since I've known her not that long might I add. Yes on the obese redheaded Lincoln City police officer that thought I was a suspect not the person that called in the crime haha. Do you feel safe honey? I would imagine the only time you feel safe is when you're shoving food into that hole of a sewer you call a mouth

Walked into the steak house today at noon to make a reservation for 6pm for my daughter 16th birthday. The girls took hours to get ready, got to the steak house and they were closed for a private party. We just made the reservations a few hours ahead of time. We cancelled other reservations just to go here. And then we had no wear to go! Uhg
Been there a few times and never had luck. Wnt today for the first time in years and hit 2 jackpot. Best time ever! The casino was clean and service was excellent.
I was very disappointed with the service at the desk. The fellow that looked after us was a new employee and should not have been left on his own. I asked him a question and his reply was "I don't know". We were away from our room for 12 hrs and came back to the beds not being made, garbage not taken out, dirty coffee mugs along with a dirty coffee pot. When I went to the desk to ask what their housekeeping policy was I was told they clean every two days. Can u believe this!!!!!! I told them that was unacceptable . I also told them that i could have stayed home and washed dishes and made my bed, but I was on holidays. Paying over $200 a night I expect more. The more I got was the beautiful view from our room. Would I stay there again NO. Would I recommend it to people NO. I was very disappointed. They even messed up our billing. I would not stay at Chinookwinds if they offered a week free to us. Good Luck if you stay there. I hope you have a better experience than we did
ZERO STARS! I Was pushed out of my seat..moved to try and have room and enjoy the show. Was assaulted verbally by the women behind me. Then physically assaulted by a man in the row behind them. The worst of it was I was assaulted by a female security guard who pulled me backwards and knocked me over. Then she calls for backup and lies about the entire situation. Tell me I have to leave when I was the one assaulted. Called the police. Because I wanted to press charges. Yet the police were just as rude as the staff. They sisnt listen to me. Told me I was trespassing and I can leave or be arrested. I'm standing there in tears. Having been assaulted by a fellow concert goer and a female security guard. Who lies about what she did and what she saw. They don't remove anyone else. I asked to speak to the manager. She did nothing. Did not listen, did not care. Had nothing to say. Told me she couldn't help me. When she's supposed to be in charge. I tried over my tears to explain it many times. No one cared. So I was assaulted by 2 people, one was a staff member and then I was kicked out. Never again will I return. Not to mention the security guard with the bald tattooed head who tried to push me and threaten me. Yeah, I wont be back. But they will be hearing from my lawyer.

Friday Night all you can eat seafood is the best. Had a Great time eating tons of crab then doubling my money on the slots.
Good location by the beach. For a non-smoker, the smoke is contained and not bothersome. Casino floor kept fairly clean.
I hadn't intended to go to the casino I was going for a walk on the beach. Then I noticed I was really thirsty and had to use the bathroom. And so my only alternative was that Motel there or the casino I chose the casino. They had free coffee, water, and about the friendliest people I could hope to come across. One person gave me ten bucks to play the games I never played. I never Gamble so I had fun and I was able to use the bathroom but I didn't win any money.
We went for the food. Good buffet with lots of seafood options. They also cook shrimp and fish tacos to your order. Fresh as you wait. Lots of salads, sides and desserts to choose from.

This place is great. We come here every year. The rooms are very decent for the price and location. The rooms on the ground floor with back doors directly out to the beach are amazing. And the beach is amazing, one of my favorites. The restaurant attached is good, the casino nearby is really fun if you feel like getting out of the beachy environment. There's also a small arcade. There are stores down the street, in case you need/forget anything.
Everything you need for a blast of a weekend. Or a week. Or any number of days of your choosing.
I thought the buffet dinner was really good, the food has gotten better over time. I think that the restrooms are clean and kept up. The concerts that they host are awesome! The entertainment is top notch and tickets are affordable. This is the 3rd concert I've attended this year and there are more scheduled!

Situated right on the beach on North end of Lincoln City, Oregon. The food is fabulous, the slots are loose and the staff is courteous. The hotel has 4 buildings that overlooks the Pacific ocean. Concerts are held monthly. And the Chinooks Seafood Grill has concerts every weekend. For golfers, the resort also has an 18 hole course. Come and be a part of the fun. Play blackjack at Aces High. Hiking trails surround the area and Cascade Head is a great hike nearby that leads you to a view of the Pacific Ocean and over looks Lincoln City.
Much bigger than expected. Kind staff, slot games payed regularly, hubby lost at table games regularly....more him than them. Ha!
I like go here with the family on Sunday's before we head home for the breakfast buffet. Its pretty darn good with something for everyone!
I was here for a catering job and I really liked the staff we got to work with! Everyone was super helpful and considerate as I was unfamiliar with this location. Even the security team was helpful in regards to important information like where and where NOT to leave our personal belongings. This was even during New Year's Eve in 2019 and four months later I realized I need to say how great they are!
Nice location, enjoyed the ambiance and it seems the covid guidelines are followed well.
This is a great little area. The motel is quiet and clean with a shuttle to the casino. The restaurant is Amazing!
