The buffet is absolutely amazing and the staff is great!!

Worst food in Buffet. Not worth the time, money, or food

Very small rooms and not much to do. Could hear people talking in the room over clearly and very loud wind, so walls seem pretty thin.

It's not the biggest, but for a coastal casino it's not bad. If it had more tables it could be easier to find an empty seat to seat down and play. More bartenders or more bars. Having only one bar downstairs makes it get backed up fast leaving you with a long wait in a line or cutting in front of people that have been waiting.

Tried to enjoy the buffet.
Our waitress was amazing the food not so much.
We went on a Sunday, prime rib night.
The prime rib was nothing but fat, the clam chowder was cold.
The waitress refunded our money.
The cook doing the chowder was rude...
After leaving the restaurant, the bathroom had no TP.
Prior to covid-19, the buffet was amazing and a highlight to our trip.
We will no longer be trying the restaurant at the casino.

Had my very first visit here with my Dad to celebrate his birthday and we had a great time! They're bingo is huge!! And I love the waterfall in the front entrance

Fun place to gamble but forgot how much I don't like cigarettes

I always enjoy my time at the casino. Staff is friendly. The one issue i have is getting a drink. It's hard to get a drink if you are at a machine. If you are lucky when a cocktail person comes around to get their attention, then you wait and wait... and sit. Because you cant move until they come back. And the line at the bar is usually long. At least i know they arent trying to get me drunk so i spend all my money!

Friday Saturday nights 1030 when they are open awesomeness

This place is really fun. Machines are loose, drinks flow freely and the food is wonderful. If you're in Lincoln City you should definitely stop by.

My ocean view room was more like a view of the run down building between me and the ocean. The shower was moldy and both beds, sheets, and pillows had hair on them upon arrival. Seriously question the cleanliness of this place. If I hadn't spent all day traveling I would have complained and demanded new sheets or left all together. Lucky for me I brought my own blanket and pillow and made it work.

I enjoy it here. Super friendly staff and nice and clean.

I went to the buffet which was excellent. Then I stayed and played the games. The staff is amazing making everyone feel accepted. The resort is always clean with great room even without a view for cheaper. This place is smoking but, the smell is not overpowering. It also has designated non smoking areas for those against smoking.

won a jackpot on a machine and was told i can't collect this until I have an unexpired license. My license expired last month, during the stay at home order. I have put in a request for an appointment to renew my license over a week ago with DMV but they are not scheduling fast enough due to backlog. The extension for expired licenses has been put out to October 2020 due to this, most likely will not be able to renew very soon. I requested that they honor my ID like kate brown requested when she put the stay at home order in place but they cannot. i am unable to get my jackpot even with my physical SS card... I am so very disappointed as I have been coming to chinook winds for years. what am i able to do if i cannot get my ID renewed in the 30 days allotted? forfeight it? i even asked about the ID being expired prior to coming and was told i would have no issues....

I visited for Bingo and enjoyed it. It went a little quick and the final games weren't explained well. I would recommend it though, the wait staff was on top of food and drinks.

More slots than you can shake a stick at! Great buffet. I have had breakfast and dinner there. The snack bar is also nice, with tasty nachos and Indian fry bread, made fresh to order. Yum . Stayed in a low budget room. It was nice and very affordable.

They did not have enough purple bears.i got up early to get the 100 points needed. Then to find no bears came back at 8 and got and ugly tiny bear .... I'm not happy about this and it has changed my time I'll spend at this casino .....and I know you don't really care. Unhappy person talks more than a happy one

Coconut prawns were great and a large portion. Chowder was good. Shrimp salad was good. Drinks were nice and strong. Live pianist was excellent.
Went back the next morning because of the good experience. Shrimp and crab omelet with hollandaise was very good. We'll be back.

It's okay. Bathroom door handle doesn't work properly. Someone smoked in the room. Stinks!!

Came to the coast for our anniversary. Didn't realize it there was wine & seafood festival happening this weekend and all the hotels were booked. We called the Casino and they were booked but the receptionist was sweet enough to write our number down and in the case of a cancellation to call us back. She called us back hours later and we got a room! She made our anniversary. The rooms are nice and cozy. Casino offers alot of things to do and the beach front view is gorgeous. Would highly recommend.

One of the more attractive casinos in Oregon, right on the coastline, with games, plenty of tables, events, handful of food options and a hotel. Well ventilated to manage the smoke, though if your super sensitive like me, you will still want to hang around the smoke free areas. The dealers and game hosts are super friendly. Keep in mind this isn t a Vegas casino, but I would recommend this one over the other local alternatives.

They take covid 19 seriously and for that reason alone we'll be back. Friendly staff, loose slots. Fun time.

The food was good, but lacked some of the variety that it has had in the past. Food was not always stocked, but that's something that happens at buffets, occasionally.

Dinner is better than lunch, and make sure to go when they have all you can eat prime rib.

The worst casino ever! Not only do their machines have an extremely low payout but the staff is very rude and uncaring. After my husband and I found out that a loved one had just passed, and we're obviously devastated, instead of a kind word or any kind of condolences they kicked us out because our emotions were upsetting their other guests. If you like to gamble that's fine. Spend your money at another casino because this one doesn't care two cents about you. If they were a person and not a business, they would be incarcerated. Visit at your own risk.

I had fun, not a great selection of machines. And it's now non-smoking, that part I hated !!

I played Bingo here and have played many times in the past. However it's been a few months and I was delighted to find that they had changed a lot of the patterns we played, which I feel keeps the game interesting.
The staff is always super helpful and friendly.

Nice place to play . Clean .Was very smoky as there was really know divide per-say from non to smoking. Enjoyed the tables and the machines,the folks are friendly and helpful.Would go back again.May next time I get the money back I left there.

Such great service from Brian! He gave us a compact room. It's just smaller and great of you are just there for one night. He also check to see of we had any discounts to apply which we had a military one. The room was very clean and just right!

We have been here multiples times! With friends, family and also as a couples get away. We enjoy the casino and its over night stay options! Room was nice although had no fridge, but other then that it was a wonderful stay each time! Show had great pressure. Staff at hotel was great and were drinks (nice and strong).

This is the best place to go they madw our hony moon unforgettable everything was perfect i highly recomend this resort to everyone its beautiful and the staff is awsome

I didn t end up taking home any winnings, but it was fun to spend some time here. I wish that it was non-smoking. The smell of cigarettes is really bad. They do have an area where no smoking is allowed, but the majority of the place stinks.

Really hated the smoke filled casino. The non smoking area was just as bad.

Great place for Bingo and other Casino games with great Buffet food offerings. Also their beach area is one of the cleanest that I've been to so far.

Fun place, average buffet. The other two restaurants are very good.

We love Chinook Winds Casino. We parked our RV here for the night.
Casino now makes you gamble on your players card to stay the night.
We bought dinner but that didn't count towards money spent.
It's worth it to keep it clean and safe.

Not a big win but we eon on the slot machines.

My French Dip was too salty and the meat was a little slimy. My husband's chicken was not quite done and was cooked in the same oil as the fish.

Ending going to Spirit Mt. Casino. Have to earn 50 point same day to get a free night RV parking eventhough have over 12000 in my account. Plus no table games because Covid-19..

Always have fun here, great food and lots of gaming to choose from. The rooms are reasonable and have a great Ocean view.

I live close to spirit mountain and go play the machines there about once a month or so and I love it there. So this is kind of a benchmark based on my knowledge and comfort at spirit Mt. The service people walking the floor at Chinook winds are not that friendly. They seem tired and not approachable and. When I walked in the door 4 or 5 employees were loitering right there and not one of them greeted me and in fact they made me feel out of place. I headed straight for the restroom to check my appearance's. The game I like to play where not at Chinook winds. Or at least I couldn't find them and ill be damned if I was gonna ask. I was dissapointed overall but at the same time it was 1:00am, the place was clean and I'll go back and give it another chance at a later date. If I'm equally disappointed then I'll likely just stay put and make spirit mountain my home base for gambling entertainment.

Casino is nice outside to look at but once inside the fun is over. Maxhines are tight and the games are outdated. If you want to eat better do so before. Better prices and service

This is a nice casino resort by the Indian tribe up there in on the Oregon coast it was a good experience small but nice

Found a winning machine only to be told I had to move for repair. Then the gave us two orders of cod when we ordered chicken strip baskets and did not offer to comp the bad order saying it was her first day back in awhile(like that meant anything us who were starving and in a rush to leave.

I had the buffet and played some slot machines. Food was good but quite spendy for almost $25/person. There's a non-smoking area for the slot machines but I didn't see it till the end.

We played all evening on 60.00 and both myself and my husband broke even. The comedy on the coast was awesome... Sooo much fun, drinks were strong.

Beautiful casino right on the beach. Tons of games. Machines and poker tables. The staff was very nice and really helpful. The world kind of slips away when you enter this place.

Beautiful weather and so relaxing. The bed was so comfortable we didn't want to get up :)

Overall, great place. Just wish there were more smoke free zones. At times, the smoke is quite thick making it difficult to want to stay.

Excellent hotel. Great food, concerts and fun casino all close to the beach. Gotta love it.

Needs better air filtration system, the cigarette smoke is overwhelming. It's hard to breathe, no matter where you go you can't escape it. Even in the restaurants.

Nice clean casino even tho the slots were hard to win on

The buffet food is just getting worst every time i go there. Had a bread stuck that was total hard went up to one of the food severs behind the line and pointed out to him. He would not make eye contact . he just walked away like i was not even there. For the price it was total not worth it. Put your money in the machines better odds then the food.

Small place, like everything in Oregon. Not spotless but clean enough to have a dinner. Well, Covid-19 changed everything, buffet is gone, we had a dinner in the restaurant and it was not that good. Thaw place is clean but the food (we had Salmon and Halibut) was ok but not great. Kylo's down the road has much better prepared fish for sure. I wouldn't be back to the place.

Went to the Cheech and Chong concert here and loved it.

l walked in with $5 and left with over $80 yes I was lucky but this casino is one of the best in Oregon,Washington and Northern California if not the best of all they give more back to there patrons then any other casino in the area 200 points earns you a dollar here that can be used in many ways and if your 55 years old and join the Boomer club every Tuesday is Boomer Day 200 points buys you there buffet breakfast no better deal anywhere . There are so many drawing for cash , cars and sand dollars 's it crazy ! There motto is "It's better at the beach" you need to stop bye and see why

I can't speak to the casino because I didn't come here to play. Instead, I was here with my wife for a drink and an appetizer.

The restaurant looks very nice and has a vast view of the ocean from the dining room. But that's the only compliment this place deserves...

We ordered razor clams and steamers; both were awful. The razor clams we're thin, rubbery and bland - a complete ripoff at $18 for two.

The steamers lacked flavor as well; just watery broth with a spoonful of minced garlic. The toast was like a cardboard crouton.

There is no reason to waste your time or money here with so many good restaurants nearby.

My husband likes this place but I'd rather have my feet in the sand

Reopening was my night. I usually don t win often most of the time not tonight i left with some winnings. I had fun. For my first time ever to this casino i give it thumbs up.

The restaurant upstairs is pretty good. Great views and wonderful staff. The gambling is so-so. They are doing a decent job with social distancing protocols.

Watched a show,Cheech and Chong .played some slots had a good time.

You should consider changing your policy in your buffet where you kick your guests out between breakfast and lunch and inform them that they can come back at 11:30 and pay again. We arrived at 10:45 and were advised that we had less than 15 minutes to eat at which time we would have to leave. Really??? This is a policy that is in no way guest focused and I am certain we are only the tip of the iceberg of guests that it has angered in the past. As a result instead of staying to enjoy the buffet after which time we would have donated at least $200 to your machines we simply left without spending even $1. We ate elsewhere and found other fun beach stuff to spend our money on. I suggest you contact Spirit Mountain Casino and ask them how they do it. Long story short, we won't be back. Thanks for saving me the $200
