Casino is always fun with the family. Think they need to replace the smoke filters and I would give them 5 stars. Other than that its a pretty fun place to hang for couple hours

Can't stand smoking indoors but that's how it rolls. Had a fun time playing at the tables for my first time, the dealer was friendly and patient with our rather intoxicated (but respectful) group. Security was on the ball as my significant other was not aware he couldn't take phone calls near the tables (oops) but we were respectfully warned not to. Overall I had a fun time. Plastic cups from the bar was kinda tacky but I can't complain about the drink!

Rooms cost to much , never win there , food to high and quality is not there but thats most casinos that are not in vegas , oh and the bars close wow really. Drinks cost the same as any bar , i remember when they use ro give you your drinks if you were playing , not chinook places in Nevada

I really like this casino from a location and event standpoint, and my friends have all won significant sums playing here, but I think my luck may be the issue. I used it all up on getting a beautiful wife and healthy kids so basically. This is where I like to not win and watch good fights.

Buffet only, with local fishes and chowder, only $18. Service was good

We paid way too much to stay here. The room was less than clean and the bathtub was DIRTY. They must not have scrubbed it in awhile. So gross! We paid $225 a night for 3 people. They do not offer breakfast either. The decor is poor and uninteresting. Would not stay here again.

The room was very dirty. The floor by the entry way and in the bathroom was disgusting. It looks like they took a dirty mop and slopped it all around. There was cracks where the ceiling is coming off, probably water damage from the looks of it. I would highly recommend NOT staying at this hotel,especially for the price! We were not able to have our windows open to enjoy the waves crashing due to a camp fire beneath the windows. Sad to say, this is one of the worst hotels I have stayed at. The only great part about this place is the arcade. Wonderful people and a great variety of games. The buffet at the casino was also good. I would not recommend the steak house though. Inexperienced, rude waistaff and for the price, the food was not great!

The cigarette smoke was so bad smelling when we walked threw the front door. It was instantly hard to breath. They need to get better air purifying system or stop letting people smoke inside. 2nd hand smoke is so bad for anyone to have to breath. My review is harsh because my expierence tonight was bad. Do something about your recirculating air system with all the money you make.... PLEASE

Great slots but on Video Poker you got to look for the 9/5 payouts on the "pay tables" and bet the max. I like "Jacks or Better". Great dealers to,they'll explain the game to you and help you with betting.

I like this place for concerts. The view and sound are great. The prices are good and the staff is helpful.

Pretty cool casino resort with a decent sized floor and large selection of drinks. Staff was very helpful and easy to work with. They were very knowledgeable of the games and willing to answer any of my questions.

This is hands down THE WORST Casino I have ever been to, and that is saying alot coming from Reno. The feeling of dread and despair as you walk in was thick in the air.The bartender was absolutely the worst, no personality and did not even say thank you for his tip. Another, employee stared at my wife and I as we were walking by and didn't even bother to excuse herself as she practically just pushed through us.I would never recommend this establishment to anyone and I will not be returning. I will take my business to Spirit Mountain.,

Concert was great. Buffet was not so great, prime rib was chewy. Other food items were dry / overcooked. Not sure if this is a legitimate complaint or just how it always is $200 on gambling was gone in no time which is typical of our trips here. We couldn't even gamble long enough on $200 to get one drink delivered to us. We did try the new drink ordering feature on the machine but after almost an hour it never showed up. They only have 2 soda stations that we're hard to find which only offer kid cups with no lids or straws. The only bathrooms available to use were all the way at the back of the building which was great to prolong the gaming and work off calories from the chewy prime rib. But there is a silver lining. The burger at the deli was delicious, if your looking for a great concert venue and a good burger this is your place. If your looking to gamble and have fun on a couple hundred for more than an hour go to spirit mountain.

Fun place, but the entire casino is super smoky, even the "non-smoking" areas. The buffet was okay, lots of variety, but could have more seafood options since it is on the coast. Our room was on the ground floor, perfect for relaxing on the patio. Don't leave out the back door without undoing the deadbolt, though, or you'll get locked out of your room!

Only complaint I have is how much I can smell the cigarette smoke otherwise great people great food great entertainment and great coffee

Completely botched their reopening of the casino! I understand not having all table games running, but to have none operating? What the? Way behind the 8 ball of Spirit mountain casino and Illani. They both implemented plexiglass between players and the dealer. Not sure where Chinooks Brains were on this opening? Anyways, it'll cost them a ton of business. Lesson learned for them!

Good casino atmosphere right next to ocean, slots didnt pay out to well though.

The people were all fun and entertaining but there was so much cigaret smoke that it made us sick. Which was to bad because we were looking to play for a while. I will go back after I hear about the ventilation system being upgraded.

Love the beach and this resort is right on the beach ! It s also very affordable

A little smokey, but non-smoking areas aren't too bad. The cocktail waitresses came by often.

Boomer Tuesday lunch is a great deal. The food can be a little hit and miss occasionally, but overall usually a hit.

Love this place. Free valet and more. So much better than the other casinos in our area.

Went to the Bar to have dinner for our Anniversary dinner and the bartender ignored us because she was having a busy night ... get a new job then because you can't handle it... we waited 35mins not a word or hey will be with you

I love the variety of slots that are available. In addition, I really like the layout. You can get away from the crowd and find machines upstairs,.. And the views from the bar/restaurant upstairs are phenomenal!

Not sure the point of requiring masks if you make everyone stop in the same spot entering the casino and make them remove the mask for a photo. You are asking for an outbreak. If you want a face pic have them hold a photo ID up to a quick scan...or something better than requiring a removal of a mask in violation of state mandate. Used to be my favorite casino, but I will not be back.

Each time I come here, it seems a bit less quality than the previous trip. The food and service were both lacking (IMO) as far as a "high-end" casino goes; I wouldn't go as far as to say they were bad, just didn't quite meet my expectations. I would still suggest this place to a friend, but it wouldn't be my first suggestion.

They were clean, friendly and offered free masks at the door, there was someone always disinfecting the machines and seating.

This casino has something for everyone. It has a great concert venue with a surprisingly good sound system. There's not a bad seat in the place. It has an arcade to keep the kids busy while the adults gamble and the hotel is right on the ocean so you can fall asleep to the sounds of the surf .

I had a great time didn't win big but did win I enjoyed the pictures and statues I hope you like them too can't wait to go back

Nice evening. My lady loved the mermaid slots and i had a great time playing black jack with Tim or Tom and Brendan dealing cards.

Great time. Dealers at craps had attitude and a little rude. All other dealers blackjack, piagow, holdem, let it ride all fun and great time. Just the craps dealers no fun.

Location absolutely beautiful. Rooms are smallish and older but very clean. We didn't come down though to sit in our rooms. Food was great too. We'll be back.

Went there for their TWILIGHT TOURNAMENT. Can will $525 in FREE SLOT PLAY. It's a beautiful drive and to the best Oregon casino and my the beach! You can't lose,...literally!

The beds were really comfortable. Right on the Beach.

This was my very first time going to the beach so I was super exited until I entered my room. I paid a bit o er 200 dollar for the night and was extremely disappointed. First off our room was small and very outdated. Our coffee maker was dirty with coffee grounds in it. The TV was super small and our bath towels had huge coffee stains with coffee grounds in it. I've stay in a better room at a motel 6 than chinook for a third of the price.

our bus girl ... was great she needs to change position with our waiter ( needs to focus on all hes tables... not just the one by window or by how much there shoes cost. thanks there where 4 generation at my table,
i kept it local in instead of Newport.....so we dropped 3 bills plus trip. paid $ 52 for ribeye.(great state) the place was flat....no spirit, no reason why i would spend that kind of money in future cuz of low energy people who are just there to oick yo pay check. our busgirl long dark hair young and pleasant .shes ready ...for next level(waiting tables) shes an asset to your business.

Not the greatest:( Had to move rooms do to others smoking where their not suppose to. Got another room and had a few bugs. Let's hope there is no more I am not to impressed. Only positive it has going for it is the view.

Totally prepared for Covid19, following CDC guidelines. Although I miss my casino the way it use to be. Other than that they still rocking during the pandemic. Sorry no photos most Casino's don't allow photos.

The room was less than average and for the price of $180 per night I would have liked to see a few luxurious touches but instead it was barely above the level of motel 6 accommodations. The staff was not that friendly and to me they should have been trying to go above and beyond.

The salad and wine was great. The fries were better than the sandwich. Going to wait for the buffet to open next time. Late lunch early supper.

Food is amazing and I actually won some $ in the casino!!!

We had a great time, ate at the deli, had hamburger and fries and chicken strip basket, with some fry bread and honey. Everything was good. But the fry bread was phenomenal. Delicious. We played a couple of the slots didn't really win, but I won't complain since we didn't lose. All in all it was a pleasant easy going night. If you have kids or like ticket winning arcade games the Play Palace is the place to be. Fun for all ages

They have a Sports Book, Spirit Mountain doesn't. Nuf said!

Great atmosphere and the slots are loose. The view and hotel are second to none. Definitely will be coming back.

I worked for a casino on the coast for few years and I can honestly say Chinook Winds Casino is very nice. Lots of slot machines and table games. I have seen several concerts here and always had a good time. The views of the ocean are spectacular and the food is pretty good. Prices are reasonable and the staff are very friendly. My wife and I have even won on the slot machines enough to keep us going back for return visits. Plus our favorite motel is just a a few blocks away. There is lots of parking for cars and RVs. The only downside for me is it can get pretty busy in the summertime.

Had an amazing time. The room we clean. The view was incredible. The bad was comfortable. Full shower and bathroom. Perfect!!

I come for the Siletz Buffet and the craps. I like to get a hotel with a hot tub on the balcony and watch the ocean after a night of winning at the casino. If I lose...I go home.

I have to say this has been one of our favorite Casino stays. The view is phenomenal! Waking up to see the waves crashing was great. Service was excellent, everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. The pool is 3ft to 7ft deep at one end and good sized. We didnt win at the casino, but the deli food was good!

Stayed at the resort for 2 nights.
Even called for room service. Great experience. The bed was heaven to sleep on plus fantastic view of the ocen from our room. We'll be back!

I was treated with contempt by a couple casino workers. Although most were very nice. And I'm not a fan of paying $300 a night to hear people's kids screaming and banging on things a majority of the time. The scenery was gorgeous though.

Even though they took my money, I loved this classy casino!

The restaurant was terribly unorganized. It took 15 minutes for anyone to bring us water. Then another 15 minutes just to come back and take our order. Another 20 minutes to get our food. My cod was extremely over cooked to the point my it almost looked like battered chicken. My girlfriends primerib Philly was tasteless. Was really hoping it was gonna be good. So disappointed. Never eating there again. Could of had it cheaper and faster from the deli probably.

We actually stayed at 1 of there beach houses with my family in Lincoln City Oregon.
The house was old needed repairs. Both garbage cans full from previous renters. Nasty smells, old fish and raccoons got into it the night we got there. Called about it and they thought it was our garbage nope sorry 10 hours does not produce that much. Md on shower doors furniture broken, our sheets were not clean. And then we were told to many cars so then needed to park our cars at the casino. ONLY THING GOOD ABOUT TRIP WAS SPENDING TIME WITH FAMILY.

I found the room smaller than small. Maybe 11x12 in total on a sub level (below parking lot level). Our widow looked at exhaust pipes. When we questioned a room changed they wanted to more than double the price. Another couple explained how she had gotten sick eating in their nicer restaurant and a couple months later he got sick eating at the casino. Try some place different and enjoy yourselves.

Nice clean Casino on the coast, plenty of tables and slots, nice buffet and full restaurant and bar.

Went for a couple hours to eat food was so so my nieces husband had to send back his meat asked for medium rare got well well done

View was nice but that is a 5 dollar burger. Romaine lettuce on a broken burger?
