It's too Smokey even in the non smoking area. Had fun playing bingo though.

Great place to go to gamble lots of slots table games cards lots of other things to do Keno gift shop restaurants bar Hotel pool hot tub workout Lounge very popular place to stay right on the oceanfront there are shopping places very close what's in a five minute Drive had a great time here was there during the Bigfoot festival thing they were putting on watched a 70-something year old man win a $20,000 UTV thing and they offered him $12,000 cash and he took it it was pretty cool to watch

This was my second time staying at chinook winds. The rooms, staff, and food have been incredible both times. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and nice even for being the small compact queen. We got the bed and breakfast package and the food was phenomenal. Overall a great experiences.

It's funny how people won't give to charity or a meaningful cause but they will sure blow a load on gambling. Just kidding, I won Big Time!!!

Resort food is somewhat worthwhile on Friday and Saturday for the seafood buffet. Albeit the quality isn't anything special but it does the job. The downstairs cafe for quick bites is reasonable and the fish and chips are decent for the price. The room was fair for the price. Lighting was okay and internet was just enough for basic stuff.

Its ok. Not terrible but not great (especially for the price). Usually clean, again just nothing great.

Nice and small casino for locals. Mostly penny slot machines which is awesome. Good winnings. Only lost $4 total over the whole night!

Had a great time, played in the casino, and had a very good dinner and rested in a very nice clean room for the night, loved it!

Great place to meet people and have great fun and eat great food and enjoy all the machine and games

Dear chinook winds...

I showed up today a short while before you closed simply looking for a friend who was supposedly drunk and needed a ride home and got into a fight with their significant other.
I was at your establishment for not even 35 minutes walking around looking for them.
(I believe i arrived at 1:25 and asked if there was a dance floor because the last I heard my friends went out to go dancing..)
I approached two of your employees and before I could even get a single word out I was Miss treated and spoken to belittled and practically ushered out the door I wasn t even given 15 seconds to ask the question I wanted which was is there anybody else around here the second gentleman who was extremely rude and demeaning also refused to give me his name and put his hand over his name tag when I inquired as to what his name was..
Then Had the SHEER AUDACITY TO MAKE THE bold claim that I had been here all night!!!
and I was under the influence of alcohol! and rolled his eyes at me! Before turning his back on me.
Im sorry, am i not a human being?!?!
Do i appear to be some stray, dirty vagrant crawling in off the streets???
I am going to contact somebody in the morning and I would really like somebody to check the cameras and tell me if I ordered a single drink or seemed inebriated in any sort of way shape or form.
Customer service here was ridiculous and I am completely disheartened, and appalled at the Very unwelcoming vibe!
Is this the sort of environment you wish to cultivate???!?!?!?
I understand that everybody was closing and they were trying to get people out.
I was here helping to get a few friends of mine who were extremely intoxicated and called me, asking for a ride.
If you stop and think about it I m literally on the same task you employee s were...
I m literally trying to help people get out the door.
More than that I was trying to help people get home safely, instead of driving home inebriated and it is astonishing That people were speaking over me interrupting me I was hardly allowed a chance to talk or inquire about these individuals.
Someone who has worked middle to upper management in various forms of retail and customer service my entire life..
I happen to know for a fact that how I was treated IS NOT OK!
which is exactly why your employee by the name Chad, who is bald, and about 5 7 ish
Covered his name tag and turning to walk away from me when I was inquired about his name.
and that behavior, his tone, his body language and choice of words .. it Makes me absolutely certain he had something to hide or feared repercussions
Or possibly had shadier agendas or a history of similar behavior, because he knew he was acting inappropriately!

In the past I have worked with a few of your other employees including Gary Ness, William Holmes and Kyle Scott, casey navarro.
I have never once caused a disturbance in this facility I have HARDLY ever come here and I certainly will not return!!! And I will share my very unpleasant experience here tonight with every citizen in Lincoln County
and I will be sure to tell everyone about my experience here. I literally received more help from random people gambling and another high school acquaintance that I randomly bumped into rather Then your own staff!!
apparently it s a problem trying to pick a drunk friend up and be an upstanding responsible adult, attempting to do the right thing?!?!

I am glad to know that your employees are extremely rude, and exhibited inappropriate behavior and I can t help but wonder.. why??!
And is that behavior common??

Chinook Winds Casino I would advise teaching your employees good moral fiber, Having them adhere a certain code of ethics.
Now I completely understand all the things I ve heard about this place of business over the years..
fights in the parking lot, drugs being done in the bathrooms, my ID was not checked at the door!

Breakfast Buffet review: cold food, cheap products and slow service. The cereal was also stale, fruit wasn't ripe, and I had to ask 4 times for a glass of milk. I will say the omelette maker did a great job, though it doesn't make it worth $12+tip.

I was dissapointed to find no space between slot machines or every other one out if service or plexiglass dividers or anything for safeness due to covid 19. I have been to Ilani north of vancouver, Wa. & they have spent the $$ to make it is so safe. I was in a Senior slot tournement that was made safer by using every other machine but it was not nearly as fun as it used to be(pretty dead with no excitement or hipe). Beautiful day at the beach but even though everyone wore masks it made me very nervous that precautions weren't in place there.

Did not enjoy the buffet at all very disappointing it's dark it's dreary and for some place that loves to take money at least they could do is have a better lit area to eat your dinner.
Actually I had a good time in the casino itself how is lucky that day but it's very dark down there too I'm not sure there must be some reason for that. But of course when I go back to the coast I will visit again I always do

Machines seemed tight. Even tho there were lots of cleaners, they need to have "wipe" stations so folks can clean machines as they use them...

This is a fun place to when on the coast. It is fairly large. Lots of ways to gamble.

It was a fun time with my family, that I hadn't seen in a while! Everything was great!

I have been coming to lincoln city since i can remember, and have been coming to the child daycare center at chinook winds for many year as well. I have fond memories of this place. Now that im older i have found the atmoshpere to be friendly and exciting! I like that tou can still smoke at the bar, but they offer a smoke free section when you get tired of it. Also good place for concerts along with a bingo hall, and food! They have a wonderful buffet upstairs along with more slots to play. Gift shop down stairs.

Tempted to rate it low because I lost but, I had lots of fun and there were plenty of games to choose from.

It's always better on the coast! Chinook winds is a low profile casino on the beach with high profile entertainment. Chinook never disappoint s when it comes to having fun. Just always a little lighter in the pockets

Great night club on weekends, all ages so not like a lot of the clubs in Portland. This is a regular spot for my friends and I when I come down to Lincoln City.

Restaurant was very good, a little spendy, but the food was excellent so we felt it was worth it. Cheech & Chong were so amazing! The venue was ok... you couldn't buy a cocktail but you could self-serve pop & water. There's a missed opportunity! The casino needs to up its ventilation system. The smell of cigarettes was way over acceptable. They make better systems, invest. Hotel room very comfortable, clean.

Pretty nice for this type of casino experience. It is not fancy, but it was a Summer weekend, there were still plenty of tables and machines. It was clean, and did not smell much of cigarettes. No lines for anything during the afternoon hours we were there. The people at the craps table were helpful with reminders, while keeping it light and fun.

Fun for some adult entertainment. Be sure to take a break from gambling and enjoy done fine coastal cuisine. The staff are friendly. The place is very busy most weekends and especially during special events.

We go monthly... Switching off between here and Spirit Mountain...

The casino is nice but has limited food choices. It has revised its RV area to now have specific places to park. Daily gambling is required for overnight stays of up to 14 nights every 30 days.

The Chinook Winds buffet was my destination after a great day at the coast. The people were nice but the food was not. There wasn't much variety for $ 21.00 but I still would have been happy with a good meal. No such luck. A very sad ending to a great day.....

Dwight concert would have been great if the two couples in front of us hadn't talked and stood and danced in front of us through the whole concert we probably won't drive three hours to see another concert here

Love visiting the steakhouse for it's consistent, plentiful portions and friendly staff. This particular visit our waiter was pretty scarce which was an anomaly. We visit about once a month so hopefully the next trip pans out better

My friend and I never got a server to bring beverages.
So I stopped playing and got our own. So glad that smoking is banned!
We had fun and quenched our own thirst.

This place is great the deli is an expensive they have some good food down there now the buffet is good it's a little spendy though then they got the Rogue River room that has a great buffalo burger they have two bars ones upstairs the actual Lounge then you get the floor bar downstairs or an old cage used to be what is a fun place to go and that's have childcare in arcade if you want drop your children off for a fee then watch your children for you so you can go over and you know play the games

Only good thig was the food. Slots & tables were HORRIBLE!!! Local gal warned us to run away asap.

The elderly lady at the buffet was extremely rude , if she didn t want to work with the public , she should stay home and not make someone and there family ,who haven t Ben out in over a year thanks to the world of COVID! Feel uncomfortable even considering spending 80$plus on a meal they otherwise would have Ben able to enjoy?!$& lol! By by ChinookWinds!! Hello spirit mountain! And they give you 7 overnight parking passes a month! ChinookWinds makes you earn 50 points a day for one night!!!

Didn't stay overnight at their RV area, but the staff was nice! We signed up for their players card. We played a bit and headed out.

If you'd like to overnight RV camp, you must sign up for their players card and accumulate 40 points on the card.

Approximately $40 (or less if you are winning). They said it's a 1:1 ratio. 1 point per dollar spent.

Instead of overnighting there, we decided to give Spirit Mountain Casino a try (30 minute drive down highway 22 or 18). Spirit Mountain Casino is free overnight RV parking for 3 days. Must sign up for players card. Register vehicle and hang tag on your RV/Vehicle. Oh yes, free dump station and free potable water too!

The Casino doesn't furnish wheel chairs. You may bring one or your scooter. Smaller than Spirit Mountain it seems. I prefer Spirit Mountain. You should go and check it out anyway.

Budget friendly, easy access for concerts and the casino. The queen rooms are very small but the bed was comfortable. Could have used an extra blanket but the heater worked well and kept us toasty. Resort staff was helpful, cheerful, and happy to assist. Five stars for staff.

A great experience. I was pleasantly surprised that we could bring the entire family, including the kids to the buffet.

I love to gamble but when I gamble I really need to smoke I didn't like it there. You can't smoke I never have but I came out. on top.. then we went to Spirit Mountain and stay the night there

The rooms have amazing views of the ocean! But ...the furniture and carpets are very old and outdated. The walls are paperthin. You can hear your neighbors. There is an electric fireplace that heats the room. The heater is very loud. The rooms are located outside of the Casino. You need to take a Shuttle to get there.

I went here to have dinner at their steakhouse. The cigarette smoke was so thick I couldn't even stay long enough to order. Why would I buy an expensive steak when all I could smell or taste was the tobacco?

They may not be required to follow State law, but it would definitely improve the dining experience. I won't go back unless they change their way of doing business.

Booking room was difficult called said they were booked up then told call another number then they called back n said we have a room .wareing mask was not fun in casino too hot with it n Mexican food in there has no taste needs more spices. Not alot of workers on floor don't like ordering drinks on machines.

As with gambling anywhere, be cautious and never gamble with your rent money

Beautiful place located right on the coast of the Pacific Ocean. Lots of new games and some of the old standbys. A lot of fun. They take your temperature at the entrance, lots of sanitizing stations, touch free soda fountains. Hand sanitizer available everywhere and sanitizing wipes for the machines. Masks are mandatory. So enjoy your stay. Have fun.

It's clean, every employee I came into contact was pleasant.

My older brother descended from braveheart legend William Wallace, just loved the place, he flew in from Edinburgh Scotland and was looked After by the local Oregonian girls, had fun and won money too, great drinks and friendly staff ... great night.

The coconut prawns were very good, however what we ordered and what we received were not the same. Also the bathroom was not well kept and smelled unclean. The staff were friendly and were good avout taking care of the order mistake, but the facilities needed attention. Not sure if it was just an off day for them or what, but I don't do well with odors and bad maintenance in hotels. As a guest it makes me think there's gotta be a better kept place so in turn doesn't keep me as a longterm customer. Next time we will try a different venue. If the staff weren't so nice the three stars would not be my pick.

Stopped in here to see if there were any good deals on food, nope. I'm used to casinos having that especially in small places like Mesquite, NV 7.95 prime rib dinner saturday nights. This Indian casino has a seafood buffet for 25$ and a pricey steak house and a small deli(step down from subway) on the lower floor that's it. I was looking for an in between diner with specials but nothing like that here. Captive audience syndrome I guess. Allstays says free RV/overnight parking but that's not true, you have to be a registered gambler/card with a certain amount of points to do that. Police action in the "free" RV park or parking lot area when I came through. In and out, pass.

Would have stayed longer, but they had a charity car stereo contest going on in thier parking lot that can be heard and felt down on the beach, all the way over to McMenimins, and on our way out of town.

Rather obnoxious, regardless of what the event was being held for, and if I still lived in town would be complaining all day long.

Usually my wife and I will stop there, walk on the beach, and eat lunch on the way out of town, but that ain't happening today or for a while.

Only rating 5* because it's finally non smoking. Very clean, and doesn't smell like an old dirty ashtray. As far as the slots go, not good at all, but hey they've been closed for many months so what should I expect. Ya play anywhere ya lose. If ya don't play at all, instant win.
