Skip the buffet...save your money for better food. Need a better non-smoking section. But, we went home with more money than we took in.

I went to the buffet and was very pleased! The people we nice and the food was... Very nice!

Great brunch. I won't gamble there though because my eyes burn too much. The air filtration system sucks. Even in the smaller non smoking side.

First off I'm not a regular casino goer. There were plenty of people there when we went and seemed to be a good variety of games.

The casino was fun. Beautiful view of the coast. Hotel needs upgraded, walls are thin, rooms are small, more attention to detail needed. Check in staff was amazing!

Staying in the guidelines....they temp everyone at the door! No more smoking....lines to get a drink we're long.

Diane, was very friendly and got us checked in fast and easy. The room was clean and spacious. Enjoyed our mother and daughters weekend at the beach! Food was delicious, the relaxation was much needed.

Nesetled on the coast of the Pacific Ocean, is the casino. Take a chance and hit the casino. The slots are modest in comparison with the Oregon Video Lottery. The buffet is not too bad for the price. Friday night is seafood buffet.

Was pretty dead no entertainment but the machines, those were fun and the beach was awesome just would have liked to dance or kareokee as well

The staff were very helpful and courteous. The rooms were in good shape. The beach was easy to access and beautiful. No continental breakfastbut they will bring food to your room if you order from the restaurant.

Can't complain about a casino at the beach much but poker scene is non existent and buffet is overpriced.

Buffet want very good, dinner stuff over done, some stuff under done. Waitress want good, seemed she wanted to wait on only her regulars. Was definitely NOT work what we paid.

WE ABSOLUTELY LOVED OUR STAY BY THE BEACH. THE STAFF WAS SO AMAZING AND MY 5 YEAR OLD SON STAYED AT THE PLAY PLACE HE HAD AN AMAZING TIME. THE SEA FOOD BUFFET WAS AMAZING AND THE SEAFOOD GRILL WAS FANTASTIC. THE OCEAN VIEW WAS BEAUTIFUL. IT WAS MY FIRST TIME GAMBLING BUT I DID NOT WIN ANYTHING. BUT WE HAD A BLAST. MOS DINNER IS GOOD FOOD AND NESKOWIN BEACH IS BEAUTIFUL.

Doesn't seem fare. They always don't let me win and I spend so much I would think I would get something comped but always told no whenever I ask about any of it being free.
Well coffee and soda is always free so t there's that. Thank you charitable little casino. You are appreciated

The DJ music was ear piercing and intolerably loud. Burgers were amazing though!

Went here for my birthday had a blast. Right on the beach and very reasonable lodging prices for rooms. Always a good time.

My husband and I don't really gamble or do much in the casino so I can't speak to how the casino is. We stayed in one of their non-view most affordable rooms, which was very tiny, but was all we needed. Originally we booked this place months ago for a concert we wanted to see. With covid that was cancelled but we kept the reservations just as an affordable way to stay at the beach. We had asked for a smoking room but they changed their policy to all non-smoking, due to covid they said, which I thought was ridiculous, the room smelled like cigarettes anyway and there was a lot of us outside in smoking areas. It's a casino, people smoke, it used to be a place of refuge for us smokers, but no more...., at least the grounds surrounding are smoker friendly, most places don't even offer that anymore. Anyway, aside from that everything was impeccably clean. They use a white comforter on the beds so that everything gets taken off and bleached in between customers, which I think was the best part about staying there, no mystery stained comforter! Bathroom was beyond spotless, sheets and towels felt new and high quality. Mattress was wonderful. It could get a little noisy in the evenings and mornings, but throughout the night it was quiet and we slept like babies. The restaurant next to the hotel has amazing food, incredible service, and was the cleanest restaurant I've probably ever been in. They were taking everyone temps coming though the door, masks required when not at the table, and everything just sparkled clean. I'm a germaphobe to begin with not even considering covid, so this was nice for me, and showed they were making an effort to keep people well, and prevent an outbreak at their facilities. The restuarant seating is mostly ocean view, during busy times I suggest making a reservation, we found that out the hard way, but they are also operating at a reduced capacity, so there's that. You don't have to go back to the office to checkout, just pack up, hang a door tag that you've checked out, leave the room keys on the nightstand and you're done. Beach access at several points behind the hotel, lots of benches to sit and enjoy the view too. This beach is really clean and not overly populated, I'm not sure if its private access just for the resort or not, but it was great. Foot wash stations at beach access points. Grounds are well maintained. Any staff we encountered were polite and helpful. We'll be going back, maybe next time we'll spring for the more expensive ocean view.

Large enough, lot of slots, have table games as well. Machines dont pay out a lot. Progressive game machines dont pay out.

I have stayed here several times over the years. My kids love the arcade and we always love to swim in the pool. My husband and I have attended several comedy shows and love it. And we love the buffet. My daughter loves the chocolate fountain on Sunday mornings at brunch. We have never had a bad stay. Always clean and friendly. We will be back.

Don't stay at the motel! we had a horrible experience our room was horrible complete with blood on the walls and bugs crawling around, even the lights didn't work (probably so you can't see the blood and bugs) I stayed at the motel 6 last time and it was clean and the toilet worked ( yeah even that didn't work) way better experience. I thought if I payed extra and stayed at a "resort" it would be a much more memorable experience trust me it was just not in the way we expected. I stayed in 3 world countries with better rooms. Wish I could give 0 stars.

We had a great time. Employees we really nice. Just don't get to thirsty they are a little slow coming around with drinks.

I will CERTAINLY be back, yeah the quantity isnt the same. But the food is pretty good. Please make anglais sauce.

We decided to go to the coast for breakfast. Their ham and eggs are very good and reasonably priced $9

The buffet was great. Showed up, and the woman at the front counter was nice, and helped us pay. She did enjoy a little comedy from me. Our waiter was very enthusiastic, and friendly. The food was great. They had Tri-tip out for you. They seafood, to Italian food. Drinks were free. Never went and played the slots.

Update: This time we stayed in the hotel which was great but the casino was terrible to breath in this time smelt like a ashtray!
Friendly staff at the blackjack tables especially for newcomers, friendly staff from the security staff, buffet staff, bartenders. Smoke free area is always great. Buffet which the food was delicious. Steak and seafood restaurant seemed to be a bit fancier than the buffet. They had slots, blackjack, poker, bingo. Complementary soda and juice while playing. Wifi is a little spotty and slow speeds. Not to mention almost 40% pack loss on average. 6 download 6 upload.

Love that it is on the beach but never win here. Used to get incentive perks in the mail but don't even get that anymore.

Had a great time . Tickets were reasonably priced. Bar and bathrooms inside concert hall .

Came down for there poker series. It was a blast and great value. The family had fun at the beach and a waterpark about an hour away.

We went just for the buffet today. Probably the best buffet we've been to. Great variety, plenty of meats, seafood, salads, desserts. Friendly staff. Great service. We're coming back.

Beautiful setting, surprisingly affordable. Stay once a year for Surf City in August.

This place is amazing. They are open 24 hours. The atmosphere is great. They have a cafe that serves food every hour they are open and its food is amazing. The food in there buffet is great and the prices are great.

The buffet is terrible. They serve fake butter for your crab and you must pay a high price for all the bad food you can eat. No, I didn't like it and I will not be back.

My favorite casino! Not as flashy as Vegas however also not overcrowded and a wonderful atmosphere! Perfect for nice dress OR casual. Right on the beach with friendly staff and perfect for vacation! My wife and I go as often as we can and there are casinos much closer... but how can you beat the Chinook Winds on the beach? Two thumbs up! :)

Awesome place to stay. Great host and property is just as advertised. i wish I had another night to stay. Luxury it is.

We would return here with the fam and give the buffet another whirle..

I have been to Chinook Winds Casino Resort plenty of times but came on a special event. I attended the restoration powwow for the siletz tribe. Chinook Winds was amazing, great atmosphere, and friendly staff. Definitely one of the best casinos I have been too in terms of scenery. You're overlooking the ocean and its breathtaking. Would come here again.

They gave us $5 seed money and we won enough to pay for the Friday night seafood buffet for two. Can't beat that. And we got to over night park our RV for free.

Went for the seafood buffet. The food was good but the wait to get in was way too long. Out waiter was non attentive, we were out if water and drinks not then we went. Doubt we will be back.

Well not much to see here at the casino... It's a fairly good-sized Casino... Obviously tons of slot machines outside of that we did not venture out. The bar was somewhat attentive I believe there's a non-smoking sound and if you want to make a quick hundred bucks play The Godfather machine and who wouldn't because obviously one of the best movies made of all time...cult classic.

The buffet was absolutely the worst. Prime rib was cold and past well done. The ribs were un edible they tasted like the had been in the fridge for days. For $22 per person you could go anywhere else in town and had a wonderful meal. I will never go there again.

My mother and I stopped in on Friday to have lunch at the buffet. Decent pricing, decent selection and assortment of dishes. Our server was delightful and efficient even though she was clearly busy. We ordered coffee to gave with our dessert and I have to say, that was the BEST CUP OF COFFEE I HAVE EVER HAD!!! I don't know what brand it was, but I would drive the hour it took to get there all over again just for the coffee!

Open COVID measures enforced that k goodness. Went home with more than I started out with. A few new games.

On The Beach !!! Need I say more...
It s an easy walk down some stairs to the Beach.

I needed a room unexpectedly for the night and I wanted something inexpensive. I opted for the non-view room at the casino resort. $88 including tax/fees. (October) I ve traveled a decent amount but I ve now decided I need to start asking if they have a heater when it s cold out...
I must ve asked every other question before booking the room; as they say - non view rooms are extremely small but as one person I didn t mind. I had everything you could need, and the bed was comfortable...except for the lack of heater.
Also, in each small hallway 4 doors are very close together. Since there is no A/C= no privacy if you want to open the door or the window for Air.
The ocean front rooms much larger than the non-view rooms, a huge difference. I would recommend them if they weren t so expensive there s so many other places to stay on the ocean that are less expensive. ( and have heaters/ac)
Had dinner in the restaurant they gave a 10% discount, nice view when you can see...and stopped in to the casino... all in all a very nice time.

They still offer smoking rooms. We got a beautiful smoking room right on the ocean with a balcony at a great price. It was a very good experience and within walking distance of the casino.

They have awesome clam strips and tater tots at the small deli downstairs. Not very good ventilation. I don't smoke, and the smoke really bothers me here. Right on the beach! Great slots!

Very clean and inviting casino. Easy parking or you can valet. Several restaurants including a buffet and steak house.

WARNING TO ALL. My husband and I went in to the Steakhouse and sat in the bar to have an appetizer and a drink before the Grand Funk concert. We had 40 minutes and it was pretty crowded. We had to bus our own filthy table that had piles of used napkins, cups, lemons, etc. We tossed them onto an empty table. There were even several used napkins that I had to kick out from under our table. Disgusting. I had to wait in line to get drinks at the bar and was told that there were only two waitresses for the whole big packed bar area and we couldn't order food standing at the bar. We never saw a waitress anywhere. Twenty minutes passed and we flagged down a guy who said he would help but he wasn't a waitress. By that time we only had 20 minutes so even an order of fries was out of the question because he said the kitchen was too backed up from the dining area and the bar. Pathetic. Will never go back and we live close in Newport. Will warn friends as well. Worst casino dining area/bar we have ever been to. Probably to cheap to hire enough help and that is bad customer service.

The greatest casino in the west. Great hosts, comps, and service. Great odds for winning jackpots in the high limit Elite Room.

I wish they didn't smoke in casinos. That's the grossest part about this place. But I get it I'm not a smoker. I like the elevator and how they had two different levels and at least the buffet was far away from where people could smoke. That was nice. The staff were a little bit intimidating. The bouncers would just come out of nowhere and tell my boyfriend to calm down, it was his birthday and he was just enjoying himself and we stayed in the hotel across the parking lot. The food was really good and the games were fun. The bar was fantastic. The music they played was really fun and it was really good service with the bartender and the drinks were very decently priced and poured. I like coming here at least once a year for his birthday.

There are having Car stereo competition and it was really really loud. Gave me a migraine. Hotel should have told us when we made a reservation.

It was our anniversary & a trip to the coast was part of our plan. We thought it would fun to stop in & have lunch, play a few slots before driving down the coast. Most of the meat & seafood items were cold. The salmon, I'm not sure I can even believe it myself as I type this, was tough! Only had that one bite. That was enough. We sampled their brisket, chicken, cod mixed veggies. When I say sampled it's because none of these items tasted freshly made. One or two bites of each was enough. Salad bar was a relief. That was a refreshing improvement over the entre items. To top things off our results on the slots did not improve our feelings about leaving a better review.

It really is best at the coast. Lots of neat slots,great buffett and i like the tribal history near the player's club kiosk.

Good hosting of the WBCA pool tournament again. The Poker area is in much better spot now, especially if you are playing pool. The remodeled Snack/Coffee Bar is bigger and had good Fish n' Chips. The complimentary fountain drinks are always nice. Thanks!

Had a great steak and lobster with my best friend. It was awesome. Played some slots and brought home 75.00. Great trip

Not in any hurry to go back. I think they need to change a few things. Trying to get something to drink is a joke.

Had buffet on Tuesday, which is Boomer Day for we old farts. Under $6 with pretty good selection of food. Big selection of desserts.

They have a self serve fountain for soda and coffee. Deli food is pretty good, but you will always come out smelling like cigarettes. It is an older casino, but still fun to play at. Workers are friendly. Hotel room is small, but very reasonable prices.

Glean building and staff was very knowledgeable. Machine payout is a good out. Love playing video poker! Highly recommend staying here. We stayed in the dry camp area.

The balconies did not have any privacy so you can see people next to you from a corner and they can do that also reasonably priced and location close to the shores except for you're on top of the cliff so you have to walk down

Great place to spend your time and the Buffett is always yummy. The rooms are amazing and very comfortable.

Love taking my daughter to the arcade. She really enjoys it and it's a great way to spend a lunch.
