My girlfriend and I went to the casino to play blackjack and a couple slots that we like, one we they didn't have but the other they did. The dealers were alright, not very quick on the draw, also not very helpful. Nice enough, not very talkative though. The facility seemed older and not all that clean but not horrible. Would probably visit again if we were in the area, but it wasn't good enough to make it a destination.

The room was good. Beautiful view of ocean. Casino not so good, poor pay out, weak drinks. Overall nice getaway with beach, great food. Chinook seafood grill was absolutely one of the best meals I ever had!!!
The view from dry camp was unbeatable, the weather perfect not to hot or windy when we were there and the casino paid not huge but left a couple hundred richer
Fun, clean casino. Lots of slot machines, old and new variety. Good music playing makes for a funner environment. Lunch buffet was ok. Salmon was dry but crispy prawns were yummy. Good dessert options. Just dont ask younger male food staff for samples because he will ask if you want to sample his coworker. Tacky, tacky. Beautiful breathtaking view of the ocean from their restraunt. Its a smaller casino but its nice and right on the ocean!
Was clean and respectful of Covid19 procedures. That and non smoking was really nice. The Wife and I had a good time, we even walked away in the positive.
Super fun casino right on the ocean. They do not serve any drinks for free, which was a little weird. Soda and water you have to buy as well. Other than that it's nice and big with lots of different machines. Tons of fun.
We usually stay at another location right on the beach w/ocean views and balconies w/all rooms. They were all booked so we took a chance with Chinook Winds even after several people advised us against it. We were given room 260D. We asked them to make sure our sheets would be changed the next morning. She asked if we would be staying in the room during cleaning or would we be leaving? I thought that was an odd question at the time but now it seems to make more sense. Said we'd be leaving at 8:00am so she said they would come in at 10:30am. We also asked for an up grade but we were told that they were completely booked. As we were leaving we overheard the next couple ask for an upgrade and were given one!? As for the room, it had NO closet or drawers or anywhere to hang our clothes. We had to live out of our suitcases for the next couple of days. There was just enough room to walk around the queen bed that looked like a double bed! The mattress cover was torn and very shabby, pillows were old and lumpy. There was only one chair for 2 people but it was positioned UNDER the TV so you couldn't sit in it w/o head touching TV. Had to sit on bed. Had dinner at Seafood Grill. Waitress convinced us the coconut shrimp were the BEST but not the case. They were butterflied so looked very large but were tough and dry. Next morning we left at 7:30am and came back at 11:00pm that night to find they had made the bed but had NOT changed the sheets and the pillow I had left on floor w/case off was put back on bed w/o a fresh pillowcase. The Casino was too smokey and had a stale smell so we took a trip to Spirit Mt Atmosphere was fresher there and the food was excellent. We also walked away $$$'s ahead. Sorry to say we WON'T be coming back. CLEANLINEST is important to us
Clean casino with lots of slots and a few table games. The dealers and craps table operators were pretty hospitable but not overly nice. Slow night when we were there. Drinks were hard to come by.
Wow...what a fun weekend. Stay a few nights hit up the beach and the Casino! The entertainment was awesome and the gambling was fun. Received 20% off our dinner at Chinook River Restaurant by the way was so Tasty! Whats cool the shuttle was convenient to and from the Casino and we never had to wait long. Goin into town was fun, so much to do plenty of shopping. Local stores and also the Outlets were great! Highly recommend for family and Friends!
This review is only for the casino, as I did not try the restaurant nor did we get a room. The casino was nice and I didn t think it was too crowded in space. Unfortunately, I couldn t find my favorite machine. I didn t feel like it was more smoky than other casinos I ve visited. There definitely was a lot of people the day I went, so I felt as if I was making laps around the place before someone would leave a machine I was eyeing.
Had dinner at Rogue River Steakhouse. Great view of the ocean. The serving team was attentive but not overly smothering. It was nice to have a sitdown dinner and not fight the line through the buffet. An early dinner with a nice dose of casino play made for a very enjoyable evening.
I am definitely a glass half full kinda person so this is a mixed review, keep in mind if I am saying something negative I feel pretty strong about it. Let's start with the hotel, the front desk crew were amazing. Friendly, and accommodating. The room would have been great except......the bathroom and bath tub had many hairs not beloing to me. The table by the window had greasy fingerprints on it. Overall, especially with the whole Covid thing, the room gets a 3 and only that high because the view was amazing. The casino: everything at the casino was on point except the buffet, we will come back to that, the casino was clean, employees constantly walking around sanitizing everything. The bartenders and dealers all Friendly and nice. 5 stars there. The buffet, after waiting an hour to get in and paying $30.....what a waste. The food was mediocre, the selection not good, ibstruggked to find something I wanted to eat, and there was nothing I would call healthy. Honestly had I not eaten 30 bucks in crab legs I would have been upset. It took half my meal eaten for someone to come ask me if I wanted a drink, the staff overall was not Friendly except 1 girl in the dessert area, she was the only person that smiled at me and was nice. Buffet 1 star. So overall I enjoyed my visit, but for the price paid the value was low.
Asked. Valet to call bus.(raining) He didn't. Waited for a good while. Asked bus driver if they were called. Answer. No. Just running route. I. Fire emploies for less.
I was staying near there and I had some extra money, so I played on the black jack tables and slots for a while then I took a break left and came back the next day, I did well and left $350 more then I went there with, It was fun and I came back after doing some shopping and had a great time at the casino
Stopped at the casino to gamble. Very good place as far as casino's go. Clean, nice staff. A few good resteraunts. Machines are all updated and play well.
Great hotel, friendly customer service, but the cleaning crew isn't good. Our bathroom door was filthy, door frames were filthy basically it was not clean properly. Other then that the place is great
Rotten place if you are in an rv. They say if you earn points on your players card, they will give you a free overnight RV slot. So we gambled to get enough points for our " free" rv slot. Trouble is their RV lot is quite a ways away and so slanted we could not get level even with 2 sets of levelers. A d there was no power, wateror sewer ....just a slanted parking lot. They clearly dispose their rv guests. We will never come back!!!!!
The atmosphere is good, but I've had better clam chowder in the Lincoln City area. But its reputation stands alone as they do have a great menu all from chowder to a seafood platter
Weekdays are generally quieter. Free soda & coffee self serve drinks, obviously if you play alcoholic beverages are free too. Nice & clean with some smoking area.
Machines actually payout. They are open 24/7. Great selection of games, especially all the oldies that the bars/taverns here in Oregon no longer have (ie. Zeus, lucky lemmings, jade monkey, jackpot party, etc). My favorite Casino In the pacific northwest for sure
We called asking if we could reserve a table for bingo they said no an that sells will start a 11am. We got therr at 10:48 they were sold out an all tables had been reserved.
This was my first time in Lincoln City and at the casino . My friend took me and I HAD a blast. We stayed in the best rooms with the balcony and the ocean right there. It was beautiful and very peaceful. ALL YOU CAN EAT buffet, FOOD WAS wonderful BUT some things were cold by the time you sat down to eat them. I HAD SUCH A GREAT TIME....
It's a Casino... The buffet upstairs is quite good and reasonable. They have motel rooms on bluff near ocean with Great Views. If you time it right they give nice room discounts to tournament players.
I had the worst experience ever at this casino. I went to their high end steakhouse call the Rogue River steakhouse. I ordered prime rib medium and got well done food.. Then the waitress tells me that my prime rib came from the buffet next store because they ran out. I will never be returning to chinook winds casino again. And if anybody out there chooses still to go do not go to their Restaurants or buffets. You're better off going to McDonald's.
Just ok. Very smoky inside. Older machines. Steak dinner upstairs was ok. Porterhouse was cooked correctly but super chewy. Waitstaff was friendly. Casino patrons were on the "rough" looking side. It was nice to have a casino located just off the Pacific ocean... so props for that!
OMG, first time walking through and the feeling of desperation was strong....... Really? $12.00 for a cheap beer... Don't worry! I didn't put any money in the machines and drank free soda till I was full. I feel like it was a break-even situation lol. Go to Spirit Mountain...they don't have empty tables!
Lots of new, fun games. Really smokey in there. I'm a non smoker, but it's got me feeling like I smoked a pack after a night there. Their buffet was ok, needed more variety though. Still love the Casino though! Won't stop going
I been going for a few years and stopped for a while. They sent me a free night in my monthly mailing and the slots have improved dramatically. I had a lot of fun. The new games are really cool and very animated. They also keep you entertained longer.
I honestly don't even know where to begin. But first let me explain that I have worked in customer service for numerous jobs. Adding up to at least 4 years of experience. That being said I try not to complain and I like to think I'm pretty understanding about unexpected issues that arise. I'm am sad to say that I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from the staff at the hotel lobby when I tried to stay here. Before I go any farther I would like to say that the staff in the casino was so very nice and helpful. And are doing a wonderful job given all the changes due to the covid. They were very good about wiping down machines and any areas needing disenfecting. And sanitized their hands continuously from what I saw. Back to the customer service at the hotel. I had made a reservation last night online. I didn't make the reservation until about 9:30 pm. I thought all was good but when we arrived at the casino around 11. Unfortunately we had a hard time figuring out what part we needed to go to to check in. It is a lil confusing trying to find the hotel lobby. So by the time we found it it was 11:25 and when I got out to go in the doors were locked. But there was still a gentleman inside. He seen me come to the door and so he came over. And talking through the locked door informed me they were closed . So I explained "oh no it's ok I made a reservation online I just need my key". He then told me that he couldn't do that that if we weren't there by 11 we didn't get the room. I was so upset I about cried right then. I should explain that I was diagnosed with a terminal illness and was told that I have a few months to live. The illness I have causes very poor cerculation. And I am always cold. And the colder I get the harder it is for me to breath . And it's pretty hard to warm back up after getting really cold. This is not something I tell everyone and I'm not looking for sympathy. I'm just explaining why at this point I'm pretty much freaking out because I'm thinking I'm going to have to sleep in my car and it's going to be so stinking cold. I was already having a hard time just standing there talking to the man. So after asking him really there is nothing u can do we aren't from here and need a room oh and the man did tell me that he had called me to let me know I needed to be there by 11 to check in. However I didn't have service witch really didn't matter because he informed me he called me right at 11 so even if I had talked to him it would of been too late . So my fiance and I drove around and finally found a hotel where we could get a room. And the hotel we got is very nice however it is way more expensive then the one we had reserved at the casino. And I'm on disability so I have a very limited income. So the extra $120 I had to pay for the 2 nights we are here is going to really make things hard for me this next month . Well I went to the lobby today during their regular hours and asked to speak with a manager. I wanted to make sure they didn't charge my card and that they knew I wouldn't be staying there tonight. The girl I spoke with was extremely rude and had the worst customer service skills. I was really surprised by the tone in her voice and the way she handled things. When I asked to speak to a manager. I was told they were in a meeting . I really felt like they should try to do something to make up for the inconveniences they had caused. Specially when I am out the difference in prices on the hotels. This is not something I get to do often . So to have them do this and then plus have to pay more money I didn't have really wasn't fair. She offered me a room for tonight witch I gladly would have taken had I not already paid for a different room. So i wasked her if we could get the room for any other night. And she rudely said nope . That's the best I can do. I explained the problem and how I couldn't cancel the other room cuz it was less than 24 hours so I'd be charged anyways she said well that's all I can do. So I tried calling several times but couldn't get through. So disappointing.
Went to Siletz Bay Buffet for dinner. Service was fantastic. Food was good. I really enjoyed the lasagna. My kids recommend the haystack brownies. Oh and the action bar, get them to make you some shrimp scampi. It's delicious!
Very disappointed!!! purchased $40 in Keno ($20 each) on our way into town, as we've done previously! On our way out of town, went to check our tickets & was informed that we only had 24 hours to pick up our winnings. It was 48 hours later so our tickets had expired!!! Was never informed of this & have never had a Keno ticket expire in 2 days. Apparently, if we would've bought $21 each, they would've been good for 1 year! What a rip!
Great experiance. One of yhe supervisors was realy friendly and very helpful when we found him and asked for information. I think his name was john ketzenberg if i rememeber right. Great dude.
I always like to stop here on my vacation to Oregon. And I have never left with less money then I went there would. So I gotta give this place 5 Stars.
Went to meet up with some family at the steakhouse restaurant inside the casino. We were seated at the back table with a beautiful view of the beach. Took a while for the server to get to us, and was a bit slow, but the food was delicious when it got there. Decent beer selections, and reasonably priced for a steakhouse.
Worst beach experience my family and I have had. The hotel booked our round of golf for the wrong date with the stay and play package. They neglected to give us any accommodations or even let us check in early. My car got damaged and security wasn t able to help even though there is visible damage and I reported the incident right away. There was no communication that the pool/ spa area would be closed, and they didn t ever inform us on the safety guidelines put in place at the casino. Overall pitiful effort put forward by every facet of the company. Wishing 0 stars was an option
Went to the Buffett with family 1st time. The Buffett wasn't worth the price we paid and not many dinner options and some of the food didn't taste good. Had a good waitress.
