It was fun as Casinos go! You don't go to come home with money in your pocket.

Awesome games, smells amazing inside. Free refreshments and two stories of video lottery. They even have an arcade place across the parking lot, still haven't went on because an adult in there probably looks weird but it looks like fun for the kids.

Every employee was very nice and were available to answer any questions we had. The service was excellent at the buffet as well. The waiter we had was so happy to be clearing our used plates and was just great.

First my husband and I had dinner at the buffet restaurant it was terrible food was overcooked chicken was dry vegetables overcooked I would not recommend that place and it was overpriced. The service was adequate. I did like the casino.

The room was a jr. Suite, but it was a little worn down. It smelled like cigarette smoke even though they did a treatment. The carpet was filthy. However, the size of the room was large and hadbtwo flat screen tv's. The real prize was the balcony facing the beach with an amazing view.

Horrible game play outdated machines only come here if your looking for a table game or 5 line reels or alternative betting and be prepared to wait on a machine and lose your money

We visited the buffet on a Sunday. it s overpriced, food is bland and not many selections. Old man cooking special menu was extremely slow to cook and rude to non-white customers. First and last time.

The casino has free soda, juice, and coffee so you can stay hydrated while you're gaming. It's a fun experience and the Friday Seafood Buffet was excellent!

Meh... kinda cramped... loud... busy... typical casino scene.

The buffet was absolutely amazing though. So much selection! Everything was quality. Potentially a new favorite spot to eat.

Great coastal city and views enhance the gaming experience

We went with friends for Christmas, and had a good time. The buffet is small compared to the nearby spirit mountain, butb so is the line. 10 minutes to get seated compared to 2 hours at spirit mountain was worth it. The casino itself is what you would a expect. A mix of old and new games, and a smallish number of table games in the center. Smoking is allowed, but the smell isn't that bad for the most part. Overall, it's a good choice if you don't want the crowds at spirit mountain.

Good food. Truck parking 69.00 for room for the night.

Beautiful view from the rooms, great service, perfect for families or couples. We've come here once a year for about six years now every summer. We love it!

Would be better if there were 24 HR shuttles throughout the city. The cab drivers are nice though.

Beautiful beach, nice affordable room, impressive casino! Wish the power had not gone out but considering everything going on still had a good time!!

We re not friendly , at least not the guy waiting on us. Made reservations long ago and informed them I wanted 3 rooms, pet friendly, first floor and close together if possible. Arrived, two rooms on the third floor and one on the second floor. We had rooms 334, 335 and 235. Asked if we could get room 335 instead of 235 and answer was no because it wasn t pet friendly. Guess what, the occupants for room 335 showed up after us and they have two big dogs. Also when making reservations, asked if there was a pool and yes was the answer. They didn t tell me it was closed, wouldn t been nice since I was bringing my grandkids. The guy at the front desk was training a new employee sure wasn t setting a good example how to treat their guests. I was very friendly, but his, I don t care attitude was the worst. You pay over four hundred dollars for two nights with zero amenities and treated with no respect is bs.

Cheap rooms but very good quality I recommend staying here if you want to do an inexpensive coast trip.

Our own Lincoln City Indian Casino. Always a fun time, descent food and the excitement of slot machines. We really enjoy ourselves here. The ambience is great also.

Security at entry front door was rude. Must have had a bad afternoon that day. At least I hope that was it or he should be replaced.

Life's been stressed for all during covid 19 but upon arrival at Chinook winds resort on Oct 12 2020 I felt welcomed and stress relieved for a wonderful night where "its always better at the beach" Hotel/front desk Brian Belgrade made my stay special and a memory to remember! The gambling was in full swing but we were ther for the Buffet, which wees outstanding, the stuff was freindly and the place was very clean and we filled ourselves with the best sood in town, The black berry cobler was my favorite, I recommend a slice of it topped with a little bet of vanilla soff serve icecream,

No smoking due to COVID19!! So much nicer. Stayed for 3 hours :)

This review is specific to COVID-19 safety measures. Of the 4 Oregon casinos i have visited since reopening, Chinook has the most comprehensive and effective Covid measures in place. Smoking is not allowed on the floor and place for smoking has been set up outside. They are the only one of the four I visited to restrict smoking. All employees wear either masks or full face shields or both. There was one exception I should note, an employee who clears machine issues was the indeed wearing a face shield unfortunately the neck fans he had blowing into his face rendered it worse than useless. They weren t doing any sort of contact tracing either.

This place is clean but quite smoky for a small time home casino.

Great staff. Lots of things. Always something fun going on. Great place to go with the covid restrictions going on they keep everything safe.

I really like the casino even though I lost money there. Good games extra friendly staff fast free play earned. Feel more like vegas casinos. Much better that spirit mountain casino.

We ate at the steak house. Prices high,restaurant a little too cigarette smokey. Service good, prime rib good !

We saw The Guess Who but went to the buffet first.
The line was clear back to the escalator. Was about 6pm. We figured wed'd be late getting to the show.
WRONG! The buffet staff had us in ALL in and eating by 7:15, made the concert in plenty of time by 8.

After not visiting Chinook Winds Casino for more than 2 years I was pleasantly surprised to find many improvements such as a new parking structure, brand new slot machines and decor. Staff seemed to be energized, happy and helpful. The casino has upped it's game to compete for customer business. I look forward to our next visit!

We only stopped here because they were having a car show! Fun to look at the cars & bikes. Not much in the way of good eats but they had Kettle corn!

Wow! Staff was on top of cleaning slot machines. Everytime I moved to a different machine, sometime was wiping down my previous machine within minutes. Unfortunately, we were not lucky.

It's ok, PEOPLE ARE AWESOME, Buffet is so so. Izzy's in Newport has better buffet and less cost

The buffet was mediocre. Pretty bland for the most part. My mom said the prime rib was really good. Saw a comedy show while there. The was no signage, it was in a banquet room and it was pretty slapped together. The first two comics were okay. The last one was awesome!

Had a lovely stay at CWCR. Walked out on the beach with the family at low tide and touched the big rocks. Fun experience. Casino was fine but we are non-smokers so there were limited machines to play at. Wish there was a little more variety in that section. Otherwise, the hotel room was nice and we had a great ocean view with a balcony that provided for some great relaxing.

We were so happy with our stay, and we would love to come back again. We highly recommend the King/Queen connected room for families with kids. Snatch one of those up, if you can! The room was very clean, and the beds were so comfortable. At the time, the pool and hot tub were closed due to COVID-19, but the tubs in the room were wonderful for a warm soak at the end of the day. The connected room has two full bathrooms, two TVs, two alarm clocks, a microwave, two coffee pots with generous supplies for tea and coffee, and a medium-sized refrigerator. Front desk staff are welcoming and friendly. The Euchre Creek Deli has amazing burgers, salads, sandwiches and complimentary sodas. The Chinook Grill offered a fabulous breakfast with a great view. Best of all, the rooms are affordable! There are some more reasonable rooms without an ocean view, but the view is so worth it! We fell asleep to the roar of the ocean and talked to the seagulls in the morning. Thank you, Chinook Winds!

Visited here for a pool tournament. It takes over the ballroom upstairs, and doesn't impact the casino floor much. The casino floor itself is moderately spaced, with craps, slot machines, blackjack, etc. Not familiar with the food here. Hard spirits, beer and wine, sports on TVs. Good vibes. Not a five star because they allow smoking, however, they do have a smoke free slot room.

Clean and careful with Covid measures. Like they limit the number of people allowed inside.

My wife and I came here the week before our wedding to spend a night at the beach and try our luck. It was a great experience with friendly staff that was courteous of all the people at the table and fun people to hang out with. The drinks were good and fast and we won a little bit at the bonus money we got for signing up for our rewards card too! Highly recommended place!

The employees were wonderful.. The casino is nice and clean. We had fum!!

First no smoking casino I've ever seen which was awesome we had a fun time here

Yesterday i visit the casino and while there not one cocktail person came around so today i decided to take in an unopened bottle of water. The security checking the temperatures informed me that i could not bring in my water so i stepped out of the line to drink my bottle of water and he told me that it is still considered to be bringing in an outside drink i said well im not throwing it away as it was again not opened i said im not standing back in line to get in he said well you cant come in so i threw away my bottle of water. I forgot to mention in my comments now that i am a diabetic.

My favorite casino to go to. The casino floor is clean, and staff is attentive. I really like the layout, and they have a lot of the most fun machines to play.

Was playing the slots till they started playing me. Dope waterfall tho !! Next Time.

We visited the casino on monday evening expecting enhanced cleaning and hand sanitizer station's. I checked your website before coming and was assured the you are taking precautions to keep visitors safe. This was definitely NOT HAPPENING! we were there for over an hour and never observed anyone cleaning machines, railings or any surfaces. They had ONE BOTTLE OF HAND SANITIZER On the main floor and ONE BOTTLE UPSTAIRS!!
As a senior citizen myself i definitely didnt feel safe in the casino and have little faith that any part of that property is safe.

The non-smoking gaming area is directly to the right of the entrance. It's a nice rectangular area. This isn't like Reno; you have to pay for alcoholic beverages. $4.25 for a 16 ounce draft of beer. However there is FREE all-you-can-drink soda, so load up on that DIABETES. We ate at the deli downstairs. Nice burger and fries, and good chicken strip basket. Great service.

I will say that the slots are tighter than a crab's ass. We gambled $5 each and it didn't last nearly as long as it did in Reno.

I didn't use the restroom, eat at the buffet, stay in the hotel, or see one of the acts, so I can't attest to those things.

Just got married on8/8/2020. They staff went above and beyond to make our wedding perfect. The food is the best we have ever had. The hotel is right on the beach. Everyone here in Lincoln city is friendly and caring. Would recommend this resort to everyone. We plan on coming back year after year.

Very clean, well run casino. Good mix of slots, table games, poker, bingo and live entertainment. Great steak house upstairs with an amazing ocean view

They have a good buffet with a variety of food to choose from. The lobby is very nicely decorated with a forest themed fountain. Some of the employees don't seem too courteous or friendly. I like that the casino on the Oregon coast.

The chinook winds is truly a favored place for me. Only steps from the beach to hang out and sun bath play in the waves or just go for a walk . From your room a unobstructed view of the ocean for watching the whales migrate .
Getting to the casino it's only a short walk or you can ride the shuttle bus .
Upstairs is a non smoking casino area and a buffet restuarant with menu severice
On the main floor a sports bar and 700 gaming machines for trying your luck
A pool and sauna is available.
Located near shopping center if you want to do some shopping for your family needs

It's a lovely Casino! The only reason I gave it less than five stars is because of the smoke. Although there is a non-smoking slot machine area, it is very small and the smoke still makes its way into it. All of the tables are in the smoking area.

I think your odds of winning moneys is better at video poker in a bar then here.

Terrible during covid. Have to wear masks pretty much at all times. No smoking indoors. My husband got told he wasn't drinking his beer fast enough and needed to put mask on between sips!!! He has never in his life been told he wasn't drinking quick enough... quite the opposite for sure I wont return until Kate Brown lifts the mask mandate. We only played a few bucks and left as soon as our drinks were gone. Glad I didn't make a special trip! Dont waste your time unless this doesn't bother you.

The rooms have all been updated. I walked into the room in complete surprise. Another fantastic night at the beach.

Ate at the steak house on the 2nd floor. The food was so good I had the T bone steak and my husband had the duck. We were both happy with our choice and shared everything it was so good.

It was nice. Could have been better, customer service not the greatest... but probably the best place in Lincoln city as far as casinos go.

We went for the night to see the Paula Abdul concert! Had a great time!! The room was super small but we weren't there to hang out in the room so it wasn't an issue..very clean & nice! The slots were well you know slots you win some you lose some lol! I do wish the drinks were free while playing or even cheaper..I could have spent alot more in the casino if the drinks weren't so spendy..All in all we had a great time!!!

Great place with friendly staff, great promotions, and lots of space! Had a problem finding my vehicle, but the security helped me out promptly and helped me find it. Grade A!

If you're not a smoker don't go here. They have very poor ventilation and within about 15 minutes my eyes were burning and I could barely breathe. Even the smoke-free machines had smoke drifting into them from the rest of the floor.

I attended a wedding, mine. It was great. The staff at the hotel and event crew were awesome. Our suite has an beautiful view of the ocean.

The whole casino is for smokers so if you cant handle cigarrette smoke then this is not the place for you. We needed a place to eat and ended up here food was ok but the cigarette smoke ruined my experience.

We had lunch at the restaurant that is separate from the casino. It was delicious. Like, wow. Good food. And it was very clean. The view is amazing. Then we went and walked on the beach. Also, bathrooms were clean, and I feel like that's a good way to gauge a restaurant, how well do they maintain their restrooms. 9/10 would go again

Cleanest casino I have ever been in. I live in Reno and they could definatly take a lesson!

Although I have had lots of fun here before the Halloween Party was the worst. Minimal decorations, awful music, not even sure who won the contests and 45 minutes in line to get a drink?!?! There was 3 or 4 bartenders and less than 200 people (guestimate). Never again.

Had a good time. The non- smoking area is kinda small. Plenty of machines and parking.
Definitely worth a stop.

To Smokey. The non smoking section has old games and very few.
