I do like this place. The work they do to save the cheetahs is great. People from all over the world come to assist with the cheetahs. You're can see this people go out of their way to save the animals. You're almost pay nothing to see the animals. You're can take photos with the cheetahs. Even pat them, under supervision. Main building very clean. Ample parking. A must see for children. Specially the disadvantage. To get small children involved will help save the species

The tour was OK, they show you around the sanctuary and take you up to a viewing deck that over looks all the cages but you don't actually get to see the animals unless you pay for an encounter. Use ENTERTAINER APP

I very much wished I could write a great review, but I cannot. I went in Sept 2017 with my girlfriend. The staff was stoic. Getting to and from Cape Town was quite difficult with traffic. Quite disappointed.

Whilst in the Western Cape this is a must if only to help fund the protection of this beautiful endangered cat and to understand and hopefully assist in its preservation given the dwindling numbers and threats to its existence. The cheetah encounter, for those eligible (age restrictions ) is a fantastic experience when you can stroke a cheetah and feel and hear it purr. The outreach centre is battling against cheetah shooting, poisoning and trapping by farmers who see them as a threat to livestock by encouraging protection of livestock with the assistance of non lethal Turkish dogs which protect a flock or herd but do not harm or attack the cheetah. You can also make further contributions on-line.

Its not what you expect. Cheetahs are always sleeping. Staff tries to squeeze everyone in one visit with one cheetah though there are several others. Its not worth the money R250 and R150. Cash only is a really bad thing.

A great way to get up close to some truly magnificent creatures and support an organization that does good work to protect wild cheetahs and other endangered African predators while also helping local farmers (Win-Win!). The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Just be sure to take cash, as cards are not accepted. They do have an ATM.

Not much to see as cages are not really accessible when walking around...and my son's waited so long to get to touch the cheetah that they were hot and bothered and did not enjoy the experience.

The work they do is amazing, but the visit we had there was a somewhat let down. The staff are very friendly and the place is well maintained, but the lady that took us inside to touch the cheetah was not very interested. Not informative at all, just asked if we had any questions. It was not even 3 minutes and my 8 year old learnt only things we told him or seen on YouTube. I was hoping for it to have been more interesting than here is the cheetah they are part of the cat family, fastest land animal now pet it.... take a photo and walk around the rest of the cages by yourselves. Maybe it was just a bad day for her, and others will have better experiences.

Awesome place they really take care of the animals there. You can also pet the cheetahs for a couple of minutes for a fee which goes into the sanctuary in helping more cheetahs. They do not drug the cheetahs for touching purposes either and have strict hygiene control. They have 30 cheetahs that they rotate daily for petting so they are not over worked

We enjoyed our visit. Lovely to see the care and attention the team provides for the Cheetahs and the other animals. We did the cheetah experience and it was great to touch and feel the fur. For the price however I somewhat expected more.

Splendid structure in which to meet different felines. The main attraction is the cheetah, you can caress it and take pictures with it for R170. I advise you to have the experience with the puppies, they are more free.

To experience a cheetah is unique. The approach of protecting these animals by this association seems very healthy. Small flat, pens are present and the question of whether there are cheetahs have enough room to frolic pose.

The sales lady tired to sell us a ticket for a 4 month old baby - lol

Not much to see here and id say there are far better places in South Africa to have encounters with Cheetahs.

Nice concept and nice to see and pat Cheetahs but not the same as seeing them in the wild or even seeing them roam in a large game park. Understandable in necessity and the work they do is essential so worth visiting if only to support them financially.

The talk in the classroom for the children were good and they enjoyed to see all the animals. Though it is sad that they are in cages they are well looked after and used to educate people to take better care of our nature!

Great experience and interactive... Steep price for the encounter however i enjoyed it some might find it not satisfying as you can only meet the cubs when they are asleep as soon as they wake up you must leave. And they are not so small they are 8-9 months old... I first thought they would much smaller and you could play around with them but that's not the case

Keep on creating the awareness of the cheetahs. Your Hound program in conjunction with the farmers blew me away. Awesome keep this up. This is one project that we should all support. an extra very well done to all farmers on the program.

It's a nice place to see cheetahs close to Cape Town, even though they're in captivity. A little cafe/coffee shop would have been nice to sit down and relax a bit. Otherwise if you're in Cape Town and really want to see cheetahs, this is the place to go.

Wouldn't really recommend this place for photographers specifically. Photographers are not allowed to shoot with their own cameras and the equipment has to be passed on to their staff members for photography. When we visited, there wasn't enough staff handlers around and it seemed that only one cheetah is available for the close encounter experience. It was pretty cooling in the morning and the cheetah was active, which also mean that quite a big group of visitors were actually waiting to get into the enclosure for the experience. Other than this, the center is doing great work for the animals there, and we understand that the welfare and comfort of the animals always come first. Just note that this comment is targeted at photographers who want to take the shots themselves, this may not be the right place to do this. We only knew about this restriction during the safety briefing, and we thought it would be important to mention this prior to some photographers actually making a visit.

Good place to see cheetahs.

Good place to see cheetahs.

This isn't a zoo, the people there are most concerned about the well being of the animals rather than giving you a show. The animals are in large spaces n are mostly just relaxing n recovering.

We took our 3y/o who likes animals, but is still learning boundaries n how to behave when not home, so he was VERY excited and a bit too much so, to experience the cheetahs n jackals while the were out of the cage.
