I understand it is a none profitable organization but to pay R160 per person only to be near the cheetah for 5min is a bit harsh. I love what they are doing and that they are trying to save the cheetah population but I personally think they can put in a little bit of effort

Although the experience of getting up close to a cheetahs was unforgettable and the range of animals extensive and unexpected there was a strange atmosphere and something about the place that made almost everyone in the large group I went with feel quite uncomfortable. The experience started of badly as one of the members of staff asked to hold my friend's phone whilst she went up and stroked the cheetah and promptly dropped the phone on to the concrete beneath her, chipping the edge. She didn't apologize simply picking it back up and waiting for my friend to finish stoking the cheetah. The time you could stroke the cheetah for was also unclear, one person in my group went up and was allowed 2 minutes another only 30 seconds. Overall some of the staff were hard to communicate with. There were also what sounded exactly like air raid sirens that went of halfway through and the staff simply said "don't worry there just testing bombs" pointing to the desert landscape in the distance behind the electric fences. We were concerned and eventually left 20 minutes before our tour was supposed to finish, the sizes of the cages were too small and the atmosphere wasn't quite right on the day we went, wouldn't go again.

Where in the world can you get to walk with a dangerous predator, and hear that deep purr that almost makes your heart vibrate to a different tune. Wonderful experience for the whole family and not at all costly.

Didn't actually go in as we were doing MyRun which passes the cheetah enclosure but spotted 2 of them through the hedge. They keep Anatolian sheep dogs as their guard dogs and these make quite a noise with all the runners (and other dogs) coming past.

Beautiful and worthy place to ensure cheetah conservation is brought to the forefront. And an awesome experience. Did however find the prices quite expensive for locals. Think they are geared for more international travellers

I really loved being there. The cheetah is a majestic animal and very beautiful. The other animals did not really want to show because of the wind which was very strong but around 15h they started to show themselves. The staff is very friendly and courteous, it really helps you to enjoy your visit! The small souvenir shop is rich and the mini shop offers hot or cold drinks (according to your preferences), I liked the chocolate cakes. In any case, you can not leave Cape Town without going to see that!

10 rand entrance. Not easy to find. 140 Rand and you can pet a cheetah. Was great!! Great experience. Otherwise rather disappointing. Also, the nature conservation sold by the staff can only be believed with a lot of imagination. If the information helped you, I'm looking forward to a like

Very good experience of caressing such an animal. Only small advice do not come in case of strong heat (like me) at the risk of not seeing many animals that take refuge in the shade and take a nap. Too bad for you !

It can be easily reached from Cape Town and Bredasdorp. The entrance costs 300 rand (about 15 euros) and allows you to enter a fence where the cheetahs live and you can pet them under the control of the rangers. The type of contact you can have depends a lot on the state in which the cheetah is in, if it is a little rough you can caress it on the back, while if it is quiet you can caress it on the belly while it is lying on the ground. After the close visit you can admire the circular cheetahs in the fenced field. All in all a nice experience but it depends a lot on the guide who accompanies you and on the state of the animal. Inside there is a boy who speaks Italian to whom you can ask to accompany you. Visited March 2017.

Very good experience, its only 10 rand if you want to look around or 160 for adults & 100 for kids if you want to come into contact with a Cheetah. The staff were very helpful and where was a lot more then just cheetahs to see. Certainly worth going if you are close!!

Most amazing experience to actually touch one of the majestic animals. More importantly is the work that is carried out to safeguard them for the future. Extremely worth while visit and talk regarding how they are helping to preserve the species for future generations. Sadly did not have my daughter with me on this visit but will definitely be back again to support this good cause. Would highly recommend that if your into conservation or would just like to come along to support these animals in their fight to survive extinction. Then please visit it s also a most beautiful area of South Africa.

Super nice people, passionate about what they do and ultimately use the funds they get from people petting the cheetahs to help get the dogs adopted. If you want to volunteer this is the place they need volunteers.

Definitely worth a visit to see these animals, even more so for a price being able to stroke one of the Cheetahs and get a photo of it. Much better than looking at these animals at a Zoo, and these guys do their part to educate farmers to not kill them in the wild by growing a specific breed of dogs. Will recommend everyone to at least go once.
