The people here are kind and caring. The cause is great and I would definitely be back to support them. The price is quite steep for the experience which isn't out of this world but a rare one indeed. I spent sometime with the cheetah cubs and a meerkat. I wish they wouldn't print photos without asking your permission. Happy to pay for the ones I like beforehand.

What amazing work these people do, creating funds for anatolian dog breeding, the dogs go work on farms and bring down stock losses, support a worthy cause and educate your kids at the same time

We visit here whenever we are in the area. Very inexpensive and well worth a visit, allow about an hour. Not a great deal to see but very interesting. Photo shows Anatolian Shepherd dogs which is the basis of the visit. Also very good little cafe a few minutes walk from the Outreach

Up close & personal with the fastest animal on 4 legs! So affordable! R5! Drinks/snacks available, as is touching a cheetah for a small fee. Also other interesting animals here! All in the name of conservation. Great people!

It goes even just to support. It is a very beautiful formation. Do not go into such a fashion that we will visit the zoo, here cheetahs are more valuable than you. We learned here that Sivas Kangal dogs are a hope for the cheetah generation and we were very emotional when we saw them there too :)

Noble cause and fun experiences, but there can be a lengthy wait. Special shout out to Patrick for his wealth of knowledge, his empathetic relationship with the animals and for making the meerkat experience so much fun. Sebastian the meerkat was adorable!

It was nice to pet the cheetah, but the overall experience was just ok. We really did not see much else other than a few dogs and a couple of meerkats. I would probably recommend bypassing this as i did not think it was worth it for the price, even though it was for a good cause. The pre petting talk was a little over the top as well as the prep which included hand sanitizers, removing any loose articles and stepping in some foot bath. I mean really??? Is the cheetah going to lick the bottom of my foot?

Went there with 51 kids. Majority of whom are Foetal Alcohol Syndrome children. Too big a group for one facilitator. Talk was too long, they can only focus for 10 minutes on average. Need to be aware of what type of kids are coming.

Amazing smiling staff made the trip as memorable along with the clean, neat place and guidance to make sure you enjoy your experience. Been there before for my birthday and took my friends from America for a visit which was a highlight to them.
Thank you for making our visit a joyful, learning experience.

This is a an establishment which seeks to protect cheetahs and as such deserves high praise but as a tourist venue it is lacking. The few animals they have are caged and mainly unseen and the "cheetah encounter" is instantly forgettable. By all means go to support this worthwhile venture but don't expect to be wowed.

If you have never seen live cheetahs , caracals, servals, etc. before then this is must see. Also if your only glimpse of cheetah was a hundreds meters away in the Kruger then this might be worth your while.

If you have been to other cheetah rehabilitation projects before then this will not be much different from other similar projects.

My wife and I finally visited the Cheetah outreach after living in Somerset West for a few years already. It is an interesting experience, but it did not quite grab my attention as other similar projects in other areas of South Africa had in the past. I do, however, understand the appeal of this attraction for families with children.
