Worth the inexpensive entry to support protection of these beautiful animals. You can choose to opt for a variety of "experiences" that gets you closer to cheetahs (and other animals in sanctuary), but the entrance itself allows you to see these majestic animals close by.

Very basic but they seem to be doing ok. Just wonder why some of the animals like the dogs are here. It makes it more like a zoo of unnecessary captivity. Although it is good to see these animals, it just seems a pity

We had the cub experience and whilst it was very educational and fun to do there was very little else on offer. Also the girl on reception needs educating as to what you actually offer. She advised us incorrectly and we would've spent more time and money if she knew what she was talking about.
Definitely go though, as it really helps to spread the word about the plight of cheetahs in SA.

Good initiative but not the best interaction in my opinion as you have to walk in along the fence, quietly and around the back of a sleeping cheetah and stoke it whilst it's sleeping. Not much of an experience. Not very big enclosures either. Very protective of the cheetahs which is fair enough I guess but still nothing like seeing them in the wild.

A nice place with a good cause. Staff were friendly and enthusiastic. The cheetah encounter is short and sweet but this is better for the animals! They really take good care of the animals hete

Amazing half-day trip! Work this outreach center does is amazing- ask them about their Anatolian dogs, it's actually about them, not the cheetahs directly :) very interesting. Volunteers from all over the world help out and that's great to see. Some can be a bit clumsy however, and mix up which encounter you've paid for, or where to go, where to wait or who to ask... seems communication between staff isn't very good. Overall I loved it! Great work and the encounters are lovely, if the animals are willing to meet you :)

What a informative and well spent Saturday afternoon. Entrance fee is R5 and we opted for free tour. We first watch a video and then proceeded outside with our guide. The tour is about an hour long and they have personal encounters also...10/10 for the staff as you can see everybody there is dedicated to helping this animals. We were greeted by each and every staff member as they were busy doing there daily routines. There is a gift shop and even an ATM on premises with a cafe...My children were informed and entertained and enjoyed themselves.

A bit far from the city but it is a beautiful drive. You can take a picture with an adult cheetah or with Cubs. You can bring your child too! You can check out Monkeys town nearby so you have a full day of adventures.

Good to see so many people care about these previously injured or abandoned animals. The staff are very friendly and helpful. All the game rangers work there voluntarily. It's clear to see they love what they do and are very informative and helpful.
It's hartwarming and comforting to know that rehabilitation centres like the cheetah outreach exist.
I saw mostly foreigners there.
South Africans should put in some effort to go see these animals. Besides entrance is FREE!

We made this a stop before touring wineries in the area. It was a perfect way to learn about some local wildlife and a fantastic cause to be supporting.

The staff were all very well versed in facts about the animals. They treat their animals with such respect. It was reassuring to see that care of the animals was most important, not using the animals to impress tourists. Definitely a must see.

We enjoyed it, the only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because we were not informed of the griund tours when we bought our tickets for the cheetah encounters, things seemed unorganized and hurried at the front of house. The sanctuary itself was in good form with good information signs about each individual animal. The animals all looked healthy and the tour guides was well informed and could answer all our questions.

Very poor show. So disappointed, we saw 1 cheetah which my family paid R150 each to have their photographs taken together. Less that 2 minutes and taken into the enclosure with another family .This ADULTCheetah was18 months old. Far superior when it was at Spier. Don't bother visiting

The place does what it says on the tin.

The place does what it says on the tin.

A star deduction, because really all animals do not live in large enclosures and were very sleepy when you were allowed into the enclosure.

Entry is super cheap. The park only earns when you pay to pet a cheetah.
