I absolutely loved the view from the patio. They have a large tasting room that can easily handle a lot of traffic or a large group. I highly recommend getting a caddy flight and enjoying it outside.

Beautiful scenery/view of the water on both east and west of Old Mission peninsula! Wine tasting was about $7 for 6 types of wine each with tiny sips or $10 for 3 glasses of wine. Obviously went with the $10 choice. Interesting wine. They apparently provided wine for the White House State Dinner hosted by Obama for Justin Trudeau.
Well worth the visit for wine and scenery.

Nice

The best views around! This is a must see place on Mission Peninsula. The 360 views of the water is hard to compete with any other winery in town. They also have an inn if you're looking for a fun place to stay outside of town.

We visited Chateau Chantal on Friday, September 18th with a reservation. The views are fantastic, with water views from both sides of the winery! We loved the large patio and music. This is a good winery to visit! Of the wines we tasted, we both liked the Trio, and one of us liked the Malbec. We bought the Trio to take home. There are a lot of visitors here, more than at other wineries. **A reservation doesn t get you a table, but it gets you in the door much quicker. You have to then go find a table on the patio, which was fairly easy.** To the management: (1) the only friendly employee we encountered was the kind lady at the bar who recommended which wines to taste, and poured them for us. She was very nice. (2) the restrooms need more attention to cleaning.

Very beautiful winery. Wish I could have tasted the wine. The line was so long with 10 people in front of us.. I waited about 20 minutes and things were not moving along at all. Maybe next time. Maybe not. This was on a Monday BTW. Ended up at Bowers harbor vineyard a few miles down the road. Good service.. Good wine and plenty of space to sit and relax.

This is a must every time we are in traverse city! My favorite wine is the nice white wine. The late harvest Riesling was very good too! We also enjoyed the naughty apple cider! Go check this place out, you won t be disappointed!

We have stayed there twice and it is amazing. Both times were during the winter and it's beautiful there during that time. The people, lodging and wine are all great. We can't wait to come back.

Pre COVID, this was a great place to visit. Post COVID, wine tasting was a horrible experience. The only reason I 3 stars instead of 2 is because my wife and I've been going here for 20 years, and until now it's always been a 5. We were checked in like we had Ebola then routed through the winery by the arrows on the floor like cattle in chutes. Not one of the staff made us feel welcome let alone appreciated. The server was in a plastic tent and had no interest in talking to anyone. Maybe he new nothing about wine. The whole experience was as impersonal as could be. We had just come from Left Foot Charlies in TC which was an awesome experience. Besides the masks, you almost forgot about the Pandemic at LFC! The only thing CC had going for it was the view from their patio which is magnificent. That being said, the view wasn't worth the trip. My suggestion would be if they are that concerned about COVID, they just close the doors until their fear subsides.

Beautiful winery and grounds. Nice tasting room. Lovely deck with gorgeous views. Doesn't hurt that you can see both East and West Bay from this winery. Why not sip some great local wines with this as a back drop?!

Celebrating our 25th anniversary and the accommodations were more than one could ask for. The staff was amazing and helpful. A toast to you Chateau for making our stay the most memorable ever experienced in northern michigan.

1 star for the view. Required to have a reservation, which essentially only gets you a "spot in line", nothing more. The interior feels very comercial, not on par with their property. Wines were overly simplistic, bland, and did not leave any impressions on us.

Probably the most affordable tasting on the point and the wine is great! The bottles are a few dollars less than the other wineries across the board and they are really tasty! Highly recommend a visit

My husband and I visited this winery/bed and breakfast to celebrate our 40th anniversary. We were not disappointed! The location was peaceful with beautiful views of the lake and vineyards on a high hill. We enjoyed the tastings and free glass of wine on the beautiful patio. The next morning we had a lovely breakfast prepared by a chef for the small group of bed and breakfast guests. After breakfast we went on a tour of the vineyard and wine making facility. It was so interesting to have the entire process of growing grapes for various wines explained. The accommodations were very clean and comfortable and the room decor was beautiful. We look forward to returning in the future!

It was a beautiful place. The gentlemen who gave us our tour were very pleasing and friendly. It is a little ways out, but the drive and the view is absolutely gorgeous. Highly recommend to anyone who loves wine.

The views at this winery were spectacular! Even driving up to the building was so incredibly beautiful. The staff at the winery was friendly and so helpful. Walking out onto the huge patio to enjoy some wine was such a wonderful experience. We loved it here!

My daughter and I stayed at this beautiful bed and breakfast for one night. Our jaws dropped as we drove up the hill to this absolutely gorgeous winery. The view is amazing! We stayed in the Cassett room. It was perfect with a very comfortable bed and large, clean tile shower. We received an unexpected complimentary bottle of wine upon arrival which we drank while watching the sun go down. The vegetarian breakfast that we requested was delicious. The location was great. I highly recommend this outstanding bed and breakfast.

I did not stay at the hotel but visited for wine tasting. Wine was okay, nothing stood out to me on their wines. The best wine was they had was the ice wine. Wines were a bit over priced for the quality I felt, but every palette is different! It is wort tastings. The service was okay, personality of the bar staff was somewhat dull.

My wife and I have stayed here at the bed and breakfast a couple of times and it is everything and more
We all know that the wine is great.
But the staff is so friendly and they make us feel at home.
Each room is unique with a great decor.
The breakfast is awesome and we like how the chef comes out and talks to everyone before we eat.
The room comes with some free tastings.
The deck is huge with a great view.
There are a lot of awesome wineries in the area and this one just might be right at the top.

Wines were good, as far as I can tell. The pours we're ridiculously tiny - like barely a spits' worth. Never had a tasting where the pourer made such an effort to pour such a tiny amount. Felt like a rip off.

The view is the only reason to check this place out. Unfortunately I received terrible service . The guy who poured wine (I say poured wine because that s literally all he did) for us was extremely unhelpful, didn t bother to tell us anything about the wine - he just poured what we asked for and walked away. Everyone else around us seemed to be getting an entirely different experience. The employee seemed like he hated life and his job. Unfortunately first impressions make a lasting one - I do not wish to return & will be sharing my experience with others.

Beautiful location, service was a little slow, but the wine is tasty. I enjoyed touring the basement winery and distillery. I think the prices are too high, but I'm not their target demographic.
