I haven't stayed there but I've had a gift card for 10 years I've been trying to use. Everytime we want to come to TC to stay it's booked to holy hell and back. Bringing my wife up for her birthday weekend this year and we can't even get a damn dinner reservation because it looks like the whole month of September is a damn blackout date for the wine dinner. I guess kudos for being so busy but damn me for trying to come enjoy the establishment. I reckon this gift card is pretty well worthless

The place is beautiful and the staff was helpful and nice. The wines were terrible and I m glad the pours were small.

I highly recommend the tasting room at Chateau Chantal. Our server was both knowledgeable and entertaining. We received more amenities than at other wineries we visited and had a greater selection of wines to choose from.

Best place for wine tasting. The deck with east bay view and selection of cheese. They don't make moscato. But else you are good!!

Overall, their wine here is mediocre (too often bitterness comes out that means the grapes are pressed a lot...). The location and the view is awesome, but after all it s still a winery and the reviews should more be related to wine rather than everything else. However, their vidal ice wine is very good.

I went wine tasting with friend's. Chateu Chantal was fast, organized, and the wine tasted great!

Amazing views and atmosphere. They have a very sizable selection of wines for tasting and now offer flights 3 half pours for 10! Great variety of grab and go snacky items (salamis, cheese, truffles) to have with your wine.

Beautiful location with stunning views of the bay. Wine tasting was a lot of fun. They get busy on weekends. Would like to explore the grounds more,but it was snowing when we arrived.

The hospitality that was shown to us over the weekend was above and beyond. I m still in awe with their trust system for the B&B guests. We had 24hr access to the wine room, kept track of our own purchases to avoid the lines, and simple rule is to make yourself at home and enjoy. The special treatment, 7 course dinner, gourmet breakfasts and stunning views will have us back in the near future. Goodbye for now until next time Chateau Chantal!

Beautiful view from anywhere here. Nice wine tasting. They were very knowledgeable and explained the wines quite well. Very very busy place.

Staff was rude! We walked up to the bar to taste wine and the male server yelled at us and told us we had to wait to be allowed to stand at the bar. There was no one to check you in, there were no signs instructing us to this procedure, and there was room at the bar. I have never experienced such rude service at a tasting room. We promptly left the premises. Will never return.

Such a nice staff especially the front desk staff Becky Young. Mike and Brian both know everything there is to know about wine. Very knowlagable and respected winery, best in grand traverse and posible best in Michigan! The rooms are gorgeous, each room has its own theme but all rooms has a great veiw most can veiw east and west bay! I really liked the food and wine tasting. I highly suggest to any one

Great news good wine. It's nice place to just chill out on their patio overlooking the peninsula while sampling a collection of Michigan wines. When I went there with a couple of friends there were a handful of artists painting the landscape. That should should say something about the type of scenery you can take in at this Winery

Wine is very good (I liked Riesling better) and the space outside is beautiful

It is a beautiful place. We went for wine tasting. I thought they were skimpy on the samples. I was not impressed with any of the wines. No crackers or anything to cleanse your palate.

Not really impressed with the wines, bit pricey too. Offered a discount w/3 or more bottles but when I looked at the receipt the price of the bottles was higher than the menu, not the club price either. Husband enjoyed the cider

Beautiful winery on Hilltop and beautiful building with multiple patios . When we arrived they collect your money up front without showing you a wine menu. They make you sign up for their contracted membership or they won't let you in. Due to Covid , they have pre loaded flights and the combos are awful. When we got our wine , it was a chilly day and we did not want to sit outside. The staff told us it would be an additional charge to sit inside AFTER you purchase their wine with a tip... really? Awful awful experience I would not waste your time, effort, or money here.

Beautifully placed building atop a large hill next to the ocean. Went in for a wine tasting and was given six tastings and a glass for a reasonable price. The bartender was knowledgeable and friendly but the wines were not all the impressive. Many lacked any depth but the scenery makes up for it.

From the atmosphere to the hospitality to the comfy bed sheets. The wine is decently priced and the restaurants in the area are good too. It truly is a family run place that cares about their guests. Highly recommend staying here and visiting the winery! Everything about this place is fantastic.So excited to come back and stay again.

Worth the drive up Old Mission Peninsula. Try the cherry cider. It is amazing!

The wine, view and staff were great. However the patio was covered in snow on a nice day. Someone should have cleaned it up.

I've grown up with Chateau Chantal. Bob and Nadine have always been great hosts and run a first class operation. Chateau Chantal is, what I would consider, the Mother of the modern Winery in the Traverse City region. Good, if not great, wines and vistas that can't be matched by any other location! I highly recommend catching one of their Summer Concert series - the cost is a glass or bottle of wine - a bargain! For the true lover of life, love, food and of course wine - I highly recommend an overnight stay at their B&B - if they have a room available!

Very poor experience with phone lines that dont connect to anyone to ask questions, website is not updated as jazz event was cancelled one hour before starting but there was no alert. The management style at this facility is not customer focused but product focused, which will not have long terms benefits.

My wife and I visited for our anniversary and had wonderful time doing a wine tasting and eating a little food. Both good and drink were excellent and we left with several bottles of amazing wine. Definitely will visit again next time we are nearby!

The Naughty Cherry Cider is almost the best thing I've tasted. And Bill is awesome!

Came here for a wine tasting. The tasting room was well lit. They have a big selection of wines. We loved it so much we bought a couple bottles (we don't buy unless we really like the wine). Staff were friendly. I only wish the wine tasting staff had a little more knowledge about their wines.

Chateau Chantal was my favorite winery we busted. I thought they had a great variet and selection and the location offered great views! Would definitely recommend if your in the area!
