One of the most memorable places in this area. There is a beautiful panoramic view on top. They also have reasonable prices and a free wine glass with each tasting. Nice staff. Will definitely visit again!

My husband and I went to their cellar tour and dinner....it was an awesome night!!! Bill was our host and he was amazing!!!! He made the night and had so much great knowledge to share, not only about his product, but lots of information on enjoying wine and drinking what you like!!! The tasting room was elegant and the wines were pretty darn good!!!! If you're in town for one of their dinners you should definitely try and make it!!! You won't be disapointed!!!

It was stunning. We had a wine tour and tasting, and our tour guide was helpful, friendly, and informative. I'm not much of a wine person, but all of our samples were lovely, even the ones that aren't quite to my taste. I would definitely go there again.

The location is beautiful, can see the water on both sides of the peninsula. Our room was much better in person than what the pictures present online. Everyone who worked there was nice and accommodating. Would definitely go back.

Absolutely the best b&b hands down. Excellent rooms, and the wine is superb. The staff is active in your stay, the owner as well. They are not only knowledgable about their own winery and wines, but the surrounding area of traverse city openly reccomending activities to make your stay the most full and fun as they can make it. I cannot wait for another stay with Chateau Chantal.

AMAZING. What an atmosphere as you could not ask for anything more. Beautiful views, excellent staff, and wines. Thank you for the great experience. By far one of the best wineries in the area. This is a must visit winery!

We tasted on a Wednesday and it still felt like a cattle call....if you have tasted at any other winery, then you know these are extremely inferior with
small minute pours. Great views but it ends there! You have better choices!!!!

Great winery. Beautiful views of the East Bay and West Bay. In the summer, they have jazz at sunset on Thursday evenings. Plenty of great tasting wines and nice atmosphere. There is a bread and breakfast located nearby on the property. You can watch the sunrise and sunset depending on the which way you look.

Very pleasant staff, good range of wines and options for sampling. The balcony and seating coupled with the view were wonderful. Classy little touches like a card to raise issues with bathrooms to the staff by simply handing it over to a staff member - couldn't fault the place.

We went to Chateau Chantal for a wine tasting. They were quite busy but the line flowed really well and we didn't have to wait too long. Bill, who helped us was a lot of fun and had really great energy.

This place is like the Taj Mahal of the wineries in the Traverse City area. Stunning views all around and great tasting wines and brandies. They also have a beautiful patio area so you can absorb the scenery.

I enjoyed the experience! I went with some friends to experience the 7-course wine dinner. Not only was the food really good, but the sommelier knew everything about the wine we were served and why it was paired with the food. We also got a small cellar tour, which was cool. I highly recommend this for visitors if you've got it in the budget!

I stopped in for a tasting with some friends. When one of my friends received less than a tablespoon for a tasting and complained, the server gave her a second tablespoon pour and unappolgetically informed her she had received two pours. I will never go back to Chateau Chantal nor will I purchase any of their wine. We visited other regional wineries and were treated as welcomed guests.

Have visited for years as views are beautiful. Wine is fair. Service has fallen off. Most recent visit in early October was with a group of six and staff was extremely snarky. Wine tasting is supposed to be social and fun. This was not!

Despite these crazy times right now we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at Chateau Chantal! The service and hospitality was wonderful! I felt like it was my home away from home! Wonderful views from both patios, sunsets did not disappoint! We also enjoyed the wine dinner as well, the wine specialist Will was phenomenal! We will be back next year! Thank you!

Classy, classy, classy!!! Bob the owner is not only hard working but a good person. During our stay at his amazing B&B, there was a slight inconvenience and Bob handled it with such Grace. God Bless you Bob!! I would highly recommend Chateau Chantal to anyone looking to have an amazing experience with breathtaking views.

I was there for a wine tasting. The view was amazing, but I thought that there was a lot better wine out there. Nothing really stood out to me except the bubbly cherry wine, which I did buy a bottle of. That was a great wine.

This has always been our favorite winery. We have been coming here for years. On Monday, June 8th, we were very disappointed with our experience. Two small pours of wine (5 oz) plus a service fee was $25.20. To purchase a bottle of Chardonnay, which is what we were drinking, is $15. We were not allowed to do that. I tried to ask the gentleman serving us some questions and he was very reluctant to answer them. He mumbled something and brushed us off. Although we love the wine probably will go somewhere else next time. I don t mind spending $25.20 on two glasses of wine but please give me a bigger pour.

Wife and I went wine tasting for the day with another couple. We visited ten vineyards total during our weekend stay in the area. We are amateur wine tasters in every sense.

THE GOOD:
Beautiful vineyard driveway. Awesome 360 views of rolling vineyards. Large patio deck.

THE BAD:
Service wasn't exceptional. The wine was average - we ordered both a dry and a sweet flight. We did not finish the flights, it wasn't good enough to want to finish it.

The place felt very commercialized in general.

Women's bathroom smelled like an animal died and was rotting in them.
