A friend and I had the lunch & wine tour, and it was delicious! They were very accommodating with her food allergies (but the manager/wine your guide made a "joke" in poor taste about gluten allergies). The wine was perfectly paired with the food, and the tasting host, Pierre, was adorable!

Went for wine sampling. Cost was just 3 dollars for 6 small samples. They are very friendly, and wine bottles are very reasonable priced. Cherry wines are very good and unique to area. Beautiful view of the water on either side of old mission peninsula from up there as well. Definitely worth the trip. One of our two favorite in the area.

The view, ambiance and Cinq brandy are worth the stop. My wife and I don t care much for their wines but we always stop when in the area to take in the beautiful surroundings. If you are a bourbon fan and haven t tried brandy the Cinq is not to be missed. It can only be purchased at the tasting room so it makes it that much more special.

My girlfriend and I were exploring the peninsula for the Fourth, and stumbled on the winery. Incredible views of the coast on both sides. The wine was delicious and reasonably priced. Wish there were better food options. The people working there were friendly.

Like most reviews will state, the view is lovely. Sadly that's the only positive thing I can say. The bartender I had was unhelpful and unenthusiastic, especially when compared to his counterparts around him. The wine itself is mediocre perhaps given better service I might have tried something worthwhile.

This is one of my favorite places on the peninsula. They have my favorite wine there so I always make it a point to stop and take some home with me. While you're there, get a glass of wine, sit outside and enjoy the view. Stunning!

The views are breathtaking from this winery. The problem is its so popular you have to wait in a long line to get to the wine tasting and then you feel rushed while tasteing. The staff is friendly and the wine is good.

Chateau Chantal is beautiful. Surrounded by vineyards with a view of the Grand Traverse Bay, the European-style winery doubles as a bed and breakfast. But we went for the wine pairing dinner, set outside on the patio overlooking the view during the sunset. The tables were all properly spaced out for social distancing and the servers wore masks. The four course dinner was delicious, especially the Peppercorn Crusted Filet Mignon (paired with 2016 Proprietors Reserve Trio). Definitely recommend the wine pairing dinner!

I realize everyone is a bit Covid weary, but I listened/ watched an employee being snippy to customers regarding where they were standing, how their masks were fitting, dont come around corner of plexiglass etc. Afterwards I visited a neighboring winery and had a much more pleasant experience. Just saying.

Was up here for a Valentine's event, and we really enjoyed ourselves here. We have been here multiple times in the past, and always make a point of it when we are in the area to stop here. Bill is by far one of the best tasting room guides we have met. We look forward to seeing him there when we come.

The ONLY reason why it s not 1 is cuz of the wines and the views. Buckle in folks....

So we made reservations online. They are only accepting groups of 4 and we had 5 so we decided to add our other member on at the winery. We paid online for reservations ($10 a person for 3 tastes) which is the only way to make them right now. They have an outdoor seating area with no reservations for groups over 4 but due to the lack of answering phones we didn t know that. We got there and were told our table was inside and to get in line, grab our flights and head to any open table. Upon arriving in the room an older lady with short hair told me my mask I was wearing wasn t good enough and proceeded to tell me I had to wear one of the ones they provided even though I was already sitting. I didn t argue. The man at the bar said it was okay since they were slow to add a fifth person to the the table. This same lady gave us a huge problem with that aswell even though we already paid! A table next to us who had 4 seats, only 2 in use offered for our member to sit with them. This lady was so rude telling us no, saying they were at full capacity even though at least 4 tables were completely empty! Honesty one of the RUDEST women I ve ever met.

The wine: the wine was so good. I really liked the sweet flight and ended up ordering a glass of the select Harvest. The views are breathtaking too.

Please get better staff. Some of us have medical restrictions and cannot wear certain masks. I was wearing A MASK and it s accepted every where else. Will NOT be back.

EDIT: Your reply is amazingly rude coming from a manager or owner. The way we were treated was awful and your logic of the "dinning room" being "full" when it wasn't was incredibly ignorant. There were 15, to 20 tables in this room and only 4 or 5 were occupied. Don't tell me THAT was capacity-even with covid seating limitations! A table of 2 offered our extra member a seat and you (i'm assuming you were the lady who was rude to us) no longer had an argument. Obviously covid is real and we understood your rules but the way you handled yourself was uncalled for. ALSO, you have no right to tell anyone what kind of mask they wear. I wore that mask because I have asthma and cannot breathe in one. Rather than waste my time and energy arguing I found a way to be compliant . It simply does not make any sense to force us to wear a mask in the room UNLESS we are siping wine..it's not like the table becomes a force field once we are seated. The room was completely dead and didn't fill up, so your lying on that end. Also we did end up moving outside after the hate you gave us. Please do your research before you tell someone what kind of mask they can and can't wear.

My Wife and I went to 4 wineries last week, this winery provided the best view. The service was fast and we did not have to wait. The only wish I had was that the staff took more time to explain the wines. We understood it was more challenging for this bc of covid.

A very nice wine tasting room. A great view of the water from the open patio . We got the cheese sampler but they do not have gluten free crackers. Unfortunately the server we had did not provide any information on the grapes they used nor the wine itsef.

The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I was not much of a wine drinker before, but the staffs suggestions and food pairings definitely got me rethinking my stance. Highly recommended (especially the brandy).

My wife and I went here for a wine tasting and tour. We lucked out in that we scheduled 2 spots on a group tour but were the only ones to sign up so it became a private one. We are not really wine drinkers so we weren't sure what to expect. Our tour guide, Bill, was amazing and extremely knowledgeable about the whole process. He broke it down so even we felt like experts leaving the tour. The tasting was definitely the highlight though as it's in a beautiful private room with great views of the grape fields. We got a little tipsy off the samples as you get 5-6 pours depending on your selection but there were plenty of areas to relax, take in the scenic views, and visit to let the wine sit a little. The only disappointment was that it was a black out date for the dinner service and that you have to schedule a dinner experience well in advance. It gives us something to look forward to when we come back though.

Stopped in for a wine tasting. The selection was great and the Bubbly Cherry was our favorite of all the wineries on the peninsula. The views are great and they have a solar farm with live generation stats on a monitor.

Very nice Winery. Bill was an excellent host to our wine tasting. He was very energetic about his job and can tell he really likes what he does. He made sure that we got the best service and answered any questions that we had about the wines. Will definitely be planning another trip out here.
