I was here for the Christmas light show - and it was fantastic. Great displays, which was synchronized to music. It was my first time going through the such an attraction since I was a child, and it was beautiful and a treat for the kiddies. Advice: Pay the extra $20 bucks for the express line, or you'll sit there for 3 hours (literally) and burn that in gas. For you NASCAR fans you actually get to drive on the track to get through the displays, even if it's at 10 miles an hour instead of 100 :-)

Whether or not you are a race fan, take the feel the thrill tour. Not only is it an excellent value, it's just plain fun. You learn so much about the history of the speedway and racing and the tour culminates with a trip around the track.

And before or after, have lunch at the speed way club. Reasonably priced food in an elegant setting overlooking the track. But what makes it worth the trip is that it's some of the best food we've had out. My burger was actually hot when it got to the table.

If your visiting make time to stop by the speedway. If you live there, take advantage of this hidden gem!

I was here for the fall auto fair. I had a great time seeing all the classic cars and trucks. There are many classics for sale for when you're ready to jump in and own a classic. There were many used part vendors for those doing their own restorations and looking for hard to find genuine used parts. It's a great experience to stroll through the variety of classics

Attended my first NASCAR race during the BOA 500 Oct 2017. I had expectations as I arrived at the track, some meet and others were not.

The good: fan zone prior to the race, views, atmosphere, seemed very organized at the track.

The not good: this facility is dated (do not expect Wifi or any digital experiences) and could use some modern facilities and infrastructure, the location is a bit isolated (again I expected more retail/commercial within the walkshed), the infrastructure outside of the track are seriously lacking (no pedestrian sidewalks, should have a pedestrian bridge from main gate across to Burton Smith)

Great venue for a Mini Takes The States stop. Facilities were so clean you could eat off the floor. It was a lot of fun to drive around the track in our cars, it feels like a nice fast track and the bank slopes nicely: not too insanely steep like Atlanta MS. Enjoyed our morning here!

I have been here for several races, car shows and yes even Christmas lights but this recent trip to Charlotte Motor Speedway takes the Cake and the candles too. After 50 years I finally got to strap into an actual NASCAR race car and drive three laps well over 150 mph. I had a blast and plan on returning some time soon. Thanks to all but especially my wife and daughter who made this possible. Thank you

This was my first time going to the Christmas light show at the speedway. The wait was pretty extreme, and having three children in the car was trying at times. Once we got inside to the light show though it was almost worth the wait. I wish we would have had a little more time so we could have visited the Christmas village, but maybe another time.

Our first time going in person, the whole family. We sprung for the expensive Club Deck seats. And had a huge pillar blocking our view. I bought the tickets on the phone with an agent, it took a long time and never once did they happen to mention, oh yeah, you can t really see very well. Traffic leaving for an unbelievable nightmare. We ve been sitting in stopped traffic for well over an hour and have not moved even one mile. Entirely miserable and yet ridiculously expensive experience. Thanks, Charlotte Motor Speedway.

I attended a conference in the meeting room they have. The room was large and the temperature was comfortable. They served breakfast which consisted of pastries, bagels, fruit and some juices. The fruit was fresh and had good flavor. They also served BBQ for lunch with salad. I thought the flavor was very descent for a race track. The employees were mostly attentive throughout the day ensuring water was available.

I went to the World of Outlaws World Finals and enjoyed three nights of awesome racing at a premier dirt track. Very good sight lines of the track from any seat in the grandstands. Eat before you go, track food is very expensive. Allowed to take in a cooler of food and drink.

First race! The facility was very nice. As for the race I fell asleep 3 times! I thought it would be exciting and action packed but 400 laps of going around in circles with nothing eventful happening was like watching paint dry! The rain was the most exciting part!
