If you haven't been to see a roval race. Put it on ur Bucket list. Must do for a race fan.Marcus Smith and his team have done a spectacular job to put on a race. Giant, Giant, crystal clear Jumbo Tron tv. The sound system at that track is unbelievably. Good cellphone reception and some charging stations for phones also.

I've been here several times and it's always been a fun time. It's great for family events. When the cars are not racing, they offer ride-alongs and on special occasions they open the environment for walkthroughs. For example, during Christmas, the track was used for a large Christmas light show.

Whatever level of race fan you are, this is definitely worth taking the tour! Just $12 gets you an hour long tour of the drag strip, dirt track, and the speedway itself. Very informative and just awesome to see the track from the inside. Incredible experience. Make time to check this out.

We got a pass to eat in the Speedway private restaurant. Very good meal and excellent view of the whole track. Leaving we got a van tour of the facility, the history of the place, ran the dragstrip and did two laps of the track including the banking. Stopped where the trophies get presented. Had a great time.

Along with 8 buddies, did the NASCAR experience. Ton of fun and companionship.
If you like cars and or racing, give it a whirl. You are not racing, and don't go super fast. But it is enough to make you appreciate the guys who do it for real.

I have been going here many years. The past few years, the prices have risen way too high. Nascar rules have also changed so much it is pushing all the long-term fans away. Despite that, I was still trying to make Charlotte Motor Speedway work as a vacation destination for our family of 4 every May and October. Unfortunately, the incredible rudeness of the ticket sales supervisor cannot and will not be tolerated any longer. I will not be returning.

I have tickets and camping for the October races. I am selling them less than face value just to get rid of them.

The track is decent and the racing is so-so. The food is a bit pricey but parking is ample. I prefer to tailgate and look at all the displays then go home when the race starts. I have fallen asleep watching the race at the track three times.

We went on a Sunday thought there would be much less wait time but it was not . It took us more than an hour to enter the track where the lights are displayed. It s better to take the print out and book online tickets. Lights display were awesome. Our kids enjoyed the lights show . Christmas village were made beautifully. There will be a small slide carousel and ferry wheels. Arrive early to avoid the lines and enjoy the lights display .

Was able to go and stay the weekend and watch the Xfinity Series race also the the Coke Cola 600. This place is very up to date and nice. The seating was very nice fold out theatre style chairs. Restrooms where always clean to the best as they could for servicing the amount of people that was there for the race. The members and staff of the track was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the turn 4 family campground. The campground was very nice and clean. The porta pottys where cleaned ever morning and the staff would come by and pick up your trash. Will be going back as soon as I can.
