The wait was a wee bit rough, we went the day after Christmas and found out they weren't expecting the crowd they got, but it was worth it and we would go back in a heartbeat and definitely recommend it for holiday fun! It was cool to get to drive on the race track too!
Great experience especially around Christmas time with the lights
Went there to attend the Richard petty nascar experience. The motor speedway itself is pretty impressive just based off its sheer size. The gate guard was extremely nice and welcoming and gave good directions.
Went there for NASCAR race but it got rained out. Gone there for Christmas light show last two years, amazing!
Zmax Dragway is an awesome racing facility. Great seat arrangements. Great concessions and staff. It's one of my favorite tracks. The spring race is incredible with four wide professional class racing. I always look forward to going there. They also gave an excellent shuttle service from the parking area.

This was the 2nd year in a row that the family and I went. Last year I have this 5 stars due to my initial impression and the great display. You still get to ride thru the track and then by the stands at which point you have an opportunity to view the track from higher ground to appreciate all the work that went into it. However, I felt that this year some of the displays came short because there were large gaps in between displays where they could have done more lights towards the beginning of the track.
Not a Nascar fan, but went to the BOA 500 with a group this year. What a blast! Just a giant beer party. The people that attended were great, just a fabulous vibe overall. If you like to party and people watch, attend a Nascar event. You may just become a fan!

Went for the Christmas lights & were very dissatisfied. It cost way too much for what was there. The waiting in line seemed unorganized & I have seen better light displays at many places.
Always a great place to watch races. One of the fastest tracks to get out of in my experience.

Can't speak for races, and I'm not a NASCAR fan, but the tour of the Speedway is pretty great. Quite the facility.
I do not go to races but go to show that set up at the track. It is clean and easy to get around in.

We went at Christmas and saw the light show. This is a must see. Beautiful!!! I was awe struck. Like nothing I had seen before. I would see it again, loved it.
Went to the inaugural Roval race on Sunday. Fabulous day and event. Super friendly staff and extremely well run event.
visited for a karting event. no complaints. clean working facilities & pits. security and management on top of their game. i should know, they appropriately admonished me for rolling through a stop sign. i appreciate that! they're keeping up a standard of performance and it shows. it's a professionally run organization.
Camping in the infield is definitely the best way to go.
Came here for the Christmas light show. Great time had by all, even my 8 month old! We had a good time guessing all of the fairy tales and the station they have you time into coordinates with the light show. It was a blast! At the end their is a lookout where you can look at the light show and take pictures. We will definitely be returning next year.
I'm in walking distance to CMS & not to crowded when races come in town.
Have to go friendly people , great fans plus it's around everything .
My Favorite event is the All-Star Race in May. Until they tore the seats in turn one and two down near the backstretch the were my favorite. Now, my favorite seats are at the entrance or exit of pit road.

What a fun tech great seats. infield passes one year was a ton of fun lots to do after the race loved it.
We would have enjoyed the Christmas light show if we would have gone earlier in the season. Lines were outrageous and it took way too long. 2 1/2 hours just for the drive.
Had a blast! My first NASCAR race. I will be back. All the souvenir stands had different items. So when you go be sure to check out all the souvenir stands.

The new track is really hard to watch everything. Poll night tonight was the worst ever.

Vrrooommm! experienced Coca-Cola 600! This is the best racing experience I have ever had. Thousands and thousands of people, crazy about racing! It was too much fun to watch cars speeding like vrooooom... vroom vroooommm... so many people go to this international event every year. If you go for the first time, I suggest to take premium tickets. But if you go for low cost and sit in the open, a noise cancellation headphone is a must! Remember to take some food with you and something to drink. Enjoy!
The pit area is quite fascinating. The show by US army was fabulous with planes, parachute and helicopters!
WE took our Grandchildren Christmas shopping at Concord Mills the first week of December. That evening we went to Speedway Christmas at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Incredible experience. Best light display ever. It was even enough to distract the kids from their phones.... and that's saying a lot.
Restaurant food was great. Try the pastrami sandwich!
Came to the All Star race, as every year. Speaker system was so loud/distorted as to be unintelligible. Hope they fix it for next weekend for the 600.

Year after year, I love to see and feel the heart pounding of the Sprint Cup Series as well as other races.
