Saved the day! My son wanted the new fox riding gear for his birthday, being slack and not ordering online in time I didn t have it! Went here and they gave me a great deal on the whole shebang!

Went to go buy a jet ski, the sea doo spark they had advertised for sale for $5399. After the manager put in all his extra fees the sale price became $6300.
I asked what the extra fees was for? They wanted to charge me for freight and all their other expenses they incur from the manufacturer. Why advertise a sale price and switch up on me last minute when I m ready to give you what you are advertising for???
As I got up to leave I tried shaking the mans hand and he just looked at me like he he hated me because I wasn t cool with paying their extra fees, just left me hanging. I guess that s how they do business over there! I wouldn t recommend this place to anyone.

Decent place with decent people but the overall experience fell short. We bought our jet skis in September but were never given owners manuals or the VIN sticker for the trailer. They were given to us when we stopped in for something different and it was done in a "Oh, by the way..." kind manner. We still haven't received the registration for the skis, either, even though we were told we'd have them within 30 days and it's now December 14. They're not rude or uncaring in any way, there's just not much follow through or service after the sale.

Edit: On 12/20/19, approximately three months after buying our jet skis, I sent a text to our salesman asking about the registration for our skis. He said they needed pictures of the VIN for each ski to send to the DNR in order to get our registration for them. The products they sell are great, the service after the sale is horrible. The only good part of this experience has been riding the skis, which is possibly the most important. But a good customer experience is a very close second and we haven't really had that here.

I have been getting my Sea-doo serviced here for 2 years now. The service department is second to none and I wish more companies ran there business like this. Anyone looking to have work done on there Sea-doo I highly recommend this place.

Had a fantastic experience purchasing our first boat and Randy M. was a great sales person to deal with and extremely professional and responsive. We had a less than enjoyable experience with our local dealer and the folks at Charleston Powersports hit it out of the park. I would easily drive down from North Carolina again to get that high level of curtesy and support. My family is beyond excited with the new Yamaha FSH edition to the family and couldn t be happier. In fact I will likely drive down again to get it winterized just because I trust these folks and a relationship was established. Thanks again from the Holland family in NC.

Always takes atleast 2 or more visits to get things fixed and my boat is always dirty as can be when i pick it up.

Walked in parts dept. yesterday 9-10-15 to order and purchase a few parts for my wr250r and was greeted @ counter by parts person Chad Cody,what an extremely friendly,knowledgeable,courteous, helpful man. I just bought a ZX6R from Charleston Power Sports. The staff is great, extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They fit me on a bike and got me out the door. Taking it one step further, they searched around for a few days to find me a better finance policy. If your looking for a motorcycle, ATV, or boat, I highly suggest these guys. Head on down and ask for Patrick.

The store front employees are great the business side have no clue how to do their jobs never trust them to take care of the registration or anything that takes time. Verify everything they are doing.

Great customer service. I bought a brand new 2015 RXP X and everything went smoothly. I'll buy my next jet ski from them as well.

I rarely write reviews but felt compelled to. I have been in a lot of moto shops and Charleston Powersports is one of my favorites. Ashley in sales is amazing and Russell in parts always does an outstanding job in getting me what I need. These guys are a cut above the rest and I highly recommend them. Their parts department has a huge selection of inventory and Russell and his team are extremely knowledgeable...and friendly. That's not always the case with most shops. These guys get it right!

I go here for everything I need for my vintage bike. The parts department is very knowledgeable and friendly. Russell is the man.

I went in with a leaking fork and worn out tires/brakes on a bike I bought from craigslist. Jason set me up with some great deals on parts, and Daniel was able to keep me up to date the entire time I was planning to get work done. I got the feeling that my best interest was in regards when it came to getting the work done. My bike is in much better condition than it was when I brought it in and I will return anytime I want some new parts or work done!

Great place!! Everyone was very knogolable and helpful! Ashley in sales really helped us get the right seadoo, and we just got a Kawasaki dirtbike from him, no matter what Powersports your into, Ashley is very versatile in everything they sell! And it's nice to meet other people that ride, and he even invited us to come ride with him and show us many places we can ride!! He definitely made Charleston Powersports a great experience for us! We will only talk to him, as he made us feel not pressured, and just excited!! Two Thunbs Up!!!!

Just bought 2 seadoos from them and really enjoyed the no-nonsense approach of their sales team. My salesperson was Desmond; he was extremely knowledgeable of all the equipment on the showroom floor and took the time explaining the pros and cons of each particular equipment based on my riding experience an ability; and for that I am truly grateful! In the Finance Department; Greg performed at a flawless level, working to obtain the best finance rate possible for me... and did so in a very professional manner.

Last but not least Norm; this gentleman was in charge of delivering my purchase directly to my doorstep. Norm was very patient and courteous as he explained every aspect of my newly acquired PWCs. He even took my first picture next to my jet skis!!!! :-)

Gave them a second chance walked in was never greeted. I walked around for about 20 minutes siting on and looking at bikes noone ever asked if i needed help or anything. Thats the second time ive been in there with noone speaking or asking did in need help. So i went down the street to Harley where i was greeted soon as i opened the door and a sales man asked what i was looking for took me over to the bike and i will be back to make my purchase next week. I guess my money is not green enough.

Purchased a new motorcycle from here a month ago and the experience couldn't have been better. Ashley was great in helping me before, during, and after the transaction. Very happy with my decision to visit here.

On a motorcycle trip from Detroit to Key West and then returning, the hinge to the visor of my helmet broke. They replaced it right away by removing it from another helmet and installing it on mine. They ordering the part for their helmet instead of making me wait. Next offered to look at the bike and found tires under-inflated and filled them. Excellent customer service for a $10 purchase. Next time I'm in Charleston I am definitely stopping in.

Had to get a few things done to my bike. There service department is awesome. There friendly, got it done in a timely manner, and the price wasn't outrageous either. The parts department was also very friendly but the price is why they only got 4 stars. I found the exact same part online somewhere else for literally have the price they quoted me. I would still recommend. Stay away from velocity!

Well the the first impression was not so good but the 2nd was off the chain. The service manager (James) read the review saw there was a problem found a way to get my number and reached out to me. That s customer service. He made the effort to fix the problem. I will be taking both of my 18 s in for service.

Ashley Colston at Charleston powersports did an amazing job for me. he took care of me when other salesman in town let me down. he called me back and even got me financed when I didn't have all the cash. Bought a 99 ducati monster that needed some tlc. I started off using champion Honda for the proprietary ducati parts but beyond that I've only contacted Ashley in the parts department for any aftermarket parts or accessories. Couldn't be any more pleased with the quality of service. After being the in service industry for such a long time its refreshing to know that when there's some thing that i need taken care of, its only a phone call away. Thanks guys 2 wheels down.

I'm new to jet skiing and I'm so glad Champ was my salesman at Charleston Powersports. He was patient explaining all the features, answering questions and helping me from start to finish- even taking the jet ski to the water with me so I was completely familiar and comfortable. He even called a couple weeks after the sale just to make sure everything was going well. Worst Worst Worst service ever!!! If you want to be talked down to by the parts manager, and told over and over again just how busy they are and wait 2 months to "fix" a seadoo, go there! It will remain in the same dismantled shape as when you left it there....

Got my biked checked up by their service department. Well run shop, not too pricey and helpful service. They were short staffed when I arrived but they still got the job done - with no mistakes or errors.

Ive been dealing with Charleston Power sports for many years and and will continue to buy from them now that we moved to south Florida. The staff is always on point and ships my parts to me weekly. The entire staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. If your in the Charleston area stop in for a visit you will not be disappointed.

First time going there...for a recall, and the customer service was very welcoming. I look forward to going back again.

Called in this morning to inquire about a used 2006 Yamaha boat. The salesman Josh was kind enough to confirm it was still available and that I was able to test drive anytime today, I just needed to show up. Great, I show up and ask to do the water test I confirmed, the same salesman tells me that someone is flying in from TX to take it for a water test and that it no longer made sense for me to test it. I ask if they committed to buy it and I m told there s no commitment? Naturally I pushed back being I was first to arrive there with cash to buy the boat, then I was told that if wanted to buy it I would need to negotiate and sign the deal then later I could water test it after the deed was done. Of further concern, the price listed online showed $14,999, which is the Nada value, however the salesmen informed me the trailer would be an addition $4.5k above ask after the situation had deteriorated. I can t believe this actually happened. Be forewarned, It seems there s some sketchy business going on at Charleston Motorsports. Buyer beware.

Champ went above and beyond to make sure the deal went as fast, and as smooth as possible. I stopped by on Thursday to check out the Seadoo, and was riding it by Saturday. They even stayed late for me, as I was running about 20 minutes behind schedule when going to pick it up. Got my RXP, and accessories for a price that couldn t be beat. I ll be back again.

I m one of those people who typically doesn t write reviews, but I feel obligated to. Having spent 47 years in a very similar industry, I can walk into an establishment like CPS and in very short order, know if anyone there has a clue as to what s happening. And the CPS people do!

The parts people are as good as it gets and they know their products. They always look at your purchase history and thank you for your continued support. Last year I needed 2 items that the manufacturer no longer produced. They did the legwork necessary to find the items and had them shipped in. This year I needed 3 batteries. They had them waiting on me when I arrived and as always, I was accommodated like I was their most important customer.

Russell, Jason and Tyler great work guys! I not spending my money anywhere else!

Recently purchased a 2014 Yamaha Waverunner from Chas. PowerSports. The entire process was easy and stress-free. Greg & the folks at the store were extremely helpful throughout the my entire experience. From answering all of my initial questions, picking out my best fit, financing, tutorials... you name it - the staff at Charleston PowerSports made everything a breeze. Thanks to their friendly service, I've already been back 3 times for life jackets and other accessories.

The guys and gal at Charleston PowerSports are AWESOME!!!! I was visiting from Charlotte when my bike broke down, and they couldn't have been more helpful. They quickly diagnosed my problem and I was able to make it back home that evening. These guys go above and beyond.

I have been going to cps for a few years for parts because Russell is the best, if he doesn't have it he will make sure to find it. They have the best prices in town and I would recommend cps to anyone looking for anything you need to have fun on land or water. This is an update on 5/20/15 I have bought two can-ams from cps, a 2012 outlander xt an a 2015 outlander xt-p an could not be happier. The staff was the best in getting the payment where I need it to be. Ashley was very helpful in getting the right atv for me an my son. So again make cps your one stop for fun on land or water.

I required a specialist carburettor for my Yamaha ATV, Russell couldn't of been more helpful. He quickly identified the correct part, ordered it for the next day and sold it at a vastly discounted price. Professional and efficient service, if only all dealerships could be this helpful.
Whilst my transaction was being dealt with, other members of the dealership showed me around their latest products and impressive array of performance machinery.
The overall experience with Charleston PowerSports and their team was second to none, will definitely be doing business again.

Current Post (2016/2) - I wanted to take a moment to update my review. I have always received great customer service when I need parts for my Bandit 1250. Russell works with me to find exactly what I need for a good price. And for those few times where the part doesn't work or there is no clear solution, he continues to work to find something I'm happy with. CPS is my preferred place to shop for all my motorcycle parts and gear.

Previous Post (2014) - I purchased my motorcycle from CPS 16 months ago and have performed my major services there. The staff is knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. I have also started buying my parts and accessories from there b/c they really work to make sure you get what you need for very reasonable prices.

I called down to Charleston Powersports with a dilemma. Ashley Colson understood the issue and without hesitation, began to do everything he could. Everyone there was knowledgeable. I will absolutely be going back!!!

I had ridden down to SC from Ohio and lost a piece of my Scorpion helmet causing the visor to be unusable. After calling Iron Pony where I got the helmet and having them tell me they couldn't help me, I found Charleston Power Sports on the Scorpion web site. Russell took great care of me, even giving me the part I needed off of a helmet he had in stock. Great customer service and a life saver. Thanks guys!!

If you are looking for any kind of motorcycle, jetski, or quad then you need to go and talk to Ashley he is the best sales men you'll find if this guy ran the store he's the only person I would deal with for everything.

Just stop in this place to price a Kawasaki z125 out the door. The salesman ( Brock) told me we l would have to start paper work now to get the best deal, he said, he did not want me taking quote take down road price shopping. Well if you were going to give the best deal, you should not worry your self about that. I told him I was not ready to do this without a price, he just walked away.

I have been doing business here since I moved to Charelston over 2 years ago. I have ridden motorcycles over 40 years and I currently own a Yamaha Venture. When I moved I was concerned about finding a shop to work on my bike when necessary. After several false starts I finally came to Charleston Powersports and have been extremely pleased with all aspects of their business. The service manager and mechanics are professional and understand the concerns of the rider. The parts department is always helpful and the pricing of parts is always competitive. If you ride this is the place to bring your bike for service.

I live in New England and was on a motorcycle trip when my chain decided to be a jerk. The employees at Charleston Powersports were very kind and got me back out on the road with a new chain and sprockets the next day (they would have fit me in the same day but unfortunately nowhere within an hour had sprockets to fit my bike)!

I highly recommend this shop :)

Don't take anything to get repaired here, unless you want to wait MONTHS to get it back....unbelievable!!

November 2014 I bought a Can-Am Outlander L Max (two seater ATV) from Charleston Power Sports. From the beginning of the sales process to the delivery of my ATV, Ashley and the great staff at CPS went above and beyond my expectations. Since this was my first ATV purchase, they went out of their way to make sure I knew everything that I needed to know about my new purchase from the do's and don'ts to the where and how's and everything in between.

My husband has been going to CPS for parts and accessories for his "many" bikes since ~ 2007. Russell and the guys in the parts dept. are exceptional!

My only complaint.....when I start up my ATV, it say's "Hi Mr. Cresswell." :-) That will have to be fixed SOON! lol

Russell in the parts department of Charleston Powersports will go the extra mile for you. He went out of his way to make sure a critical parts order was delivered early to my engine builder. Great prices on OEM parts too. If you can't find what you need on their site, just ask. Thanks for the great service Russell!

Called this place FIVE times in a matter of 20 minutes. I have cash in hand to purchase a jet ski. Three times I was "transferred" to someone and hung up on. Once the phone was answered and someone was having a personal conversation instead of actually answering the phone. Finally, someone answered and with ZERO customer service or give-a-$hit in his approach, told me the model that I was looking for (and that they have listed as "in-stock" on their website) they did not have. I asked when they may have another one in and the answer was "I'm not sure how to know when it will be in stock". What a joke of a "dealer". I was literally ready to drop $8K in their lap and that is the response I got. I could only imagine actually having to try to deal with them to purchase.

The employees here are fantastic. Always a great experience whenever I have to come by and get something. I dealt with Russel today getting a new visor for my helmet, which I also bought from here a few months back. Great deals, always have what I need in stock and the employees won't hesitate to bend over backwards to help you out.

Just wanted to say if you ever need help with anything see Ashley. He is a class act salesman and will not blow smoke your way. He will be straight up with you. Most sales people will not do that so I greatly appreciate that. Well done.

Excellent service, quick and efficient. Unfortunately, the military discount I ask for was not credited to the account. And, when I hooked up to take it home, I found the cover not secured properly. Took me 10 minutes to get it ready for towing. Not impressed with this part of the service. You can do better

Previously Posted: Not impressed. Your standard good customer service until you pay for the item. When I picked up the pressure washer I was told they would have it all ready to use and service would go over the unit with me. When I pulled around back to pick it up I mentioned what I was told and the guy looked at me like I was crazy. I said well let's at least make sure the unit has oil, he said it did (a lie). Well, when I used the unit it wouldn't start. So I checked the oil, nothing in it. Did not appreciate being lied to. Then the golf cart I bought was delivered the following Monday. John said they would detail it up, put a temp tag on it, charge it, and water the batteries. The unit arrived just as dirty as it was in on the lot, months of dirt and pollen. Same treatment, I asked the guy about the charge and water, he says it's all done. He leaves and the cart makes it no more than a mile before it starts to die out, no charge. I then spend a great deal of time cleaning it as this sucker had dirt caked on it all over, pretty unprofessional for when you buy something from a dealer. I charged it overnight and then water the batteries. They took almost a full gallon of water! These batteries were majorly low on on water and had not been treated properly. They were supposed to be new and serviced (a lie). I called the store and was told someone would call me back, never happened (because I already paid them). A few days later I called and asked abt the temp tag, they mailed it in response, but of course it was the wrong tag. Then months later I still don't have the title or the registration. Apparently they sold something without a clear title and they are in no hurry to fix it. I guess you could say that once they got the money, they never heard of me. Things went from professional to shady overnight. They will tell you what you need to hear to make the sale, and what you want to hear after but they plan on doing nothing they said but cash the check. So easily these guys could have pulled off a great advocate for them around town yet the details were left to some guys who could care less, and the guys that do care, if any, will be the ones losing recommendations over it. John should be fired from this company.

Bought a new 2021 Yamaha 212SE boat from these guys. Josh, Chris and Matt all great guys, had us out of there with the boat same day and we love the friggin boat. They also have a great variety of other toys. I definitely will be back.

We bought a 2016 Kawasaki 900 from Charleston power sports sometime late May.
We also purchased a few accessories. During the sale process everyone was friendly and on top of things. After the sale not so much. We purchased Sena bluetooth for our helmets. One boom mike didn't work. Took it back. They agreed it didn't work but did nothing to fix it. When we insured our bike, we discovered that our insurance carrier put Gap insurance on the bike. We have been trying to get Charleston Power Sports to cancel the Gap insurance purchased at the time sale since June 1st. It is now September 7th. They have not figured out that we cannot be double covered and they are breaking the law by not refunding the money. We call every few weeks for an update and get a different excuse each time. Lastly, when it was time for our 500 mile service they could not get to it for weeks. This was very frustrating because it needed to be done and they stressed this at the time of sale. We scheduled the appointment, then proceeded to try and find someone else to do the service, We found another dealer that would do it the next day. We called and cancelled the appointment. They called and then said they could get us in for the service. Too late. They screwed up getting our license plate. Another issue we had to resolve because they couldn't or wouldn't. We will NEVER buy anything else from this place!!!!

UPDATE: We have been contacted by Byron at Charleston Power Sports. We are working on a resolution to the above issues.
