Charles T. Ku, DDS Review

My Family and I recommend Dr Ku and staff. Many many years of great service at affordable prices. You will not be disappointed.

I like how they work. It would be better, however, if things looked a bit more clean.

I have been going to Dr Ku's for a very long time and I can say that he is a good honest man. He does not gouge you with high prices and he tells you the truth about the care you need. I have seen my share of other dentists in the past that were more interested in making money than truly caring for their patients. Dr. Ku has my business and my respect.

My family and I have been going to Dr. Ku for three years now. We love him! I've never had a bad experience with either Dr. Ku or his staff. I don't know where these ugly statements about his staff are coming from!

Donna from Dr. Ku's office needs a refresher course in Manners, and how to treat people over the phone.
We were new patients with this office and when I called to make an appointment she said that my kids need to wait 4-6 weeks until their names appeared on the Dr. Roster. Even though we have cards and very Valid Insurance that the office could call and verify, this simply was not enough for Donna. I asked what if they had an emergency? and she said nope, they could not be seen?
I called Cigna and immediately had our dentist changed. The customer service rep at Cigna did apologize because this is not how dentist offices should be operating, and stated all Donna had to do was call and verify, because even with the Roster that she spoke of, they still call and verify the insurance.
Well we switched to Monarch Dental in Lewisville!! Great Dentist!!
Thank you Donna had you not been so rude and so Anal, we would have never found a better dental practice.

Dentist needs to retire. Equipment is 25+ years old. Dental assistant has bedside manner of a rattlesnake. Office personnel are inept, inefficient, an unprofessional. Regret ever having spent a dime there; regret ever having taken my child there. Have to replace a filling in my kids tooth that this dentist placed less than six months ago. Wish I could rate him/his practice with negative stars. Am filing complaint with State, BBB, and Cigna for poor practices and HIPPA violations.

So I had lost a temporary crown on a saturday and my usual dentist and its chain of facilities were all closed. (They pride themselves on being avaliable for emergency work..) I called random providers and could find no one. Dr. Ku actually answered and told me to come by. He had a meeting to get to and waited patiently for me to get there. He quickly did the temporary crown at no charge! What a great guy... It is clear he cares about others. He did a wonderful job as well. I am so grateful.

I personally like this dentist. I went to another dentist in Lewisville that was good as well but after work done here I decided to switch dentists. I agree with the below that equipment is old and office can appear very old and in need of a makeover but I really don't care as long as the equipment is clean and the dentist does a good job - which he did. It is also in a very sketchy area of town, but the office itself is great, and the staff are very friendly and courteous! As a recent college grad I really am just looking to get my teeth fixed, the flashiness and new-ness of some other places (and price tag that comes with it!) isn't something I'm interested in at some point in my life. Additionally this dentist is more on the conservative side, and won't push expensive procedures on you unless it is evident you need them.
