The best bakery in town...they have a variety of pastries with different flavors...my favorites are mango mousse and the double chocolate mouse...their tiramisu is also good...prices are a little higher but worth the taste and flavors

The atmosphere is great for visiting with a friend or working on your latest novel. The baristas are great and are really good at recommending drinks. The pastries are always fresh and delicious... make sure to get there early to get a mont blanc. They have quite a bit of seating but still manage to create and maintain a really cozy atmosphere. All in all I really love this place.

VERY affordable luxury! I only made time for salt therapy today, but $10 for 20 min of utter relaxation and relief from lingering bronchitis... I was blown away. Staff was knowledgeable and uplifting. New favorite place in all of Lansing!!

Stopped in for the very first time today and I already can't wait to go back! The dessert selection is almost too pretty to eat! Service was excellent, food and drinks were fresh, place wasn't overly crowded.

Everything is great except the WiFi doesn t work on certain websites. This happens couple of times on me. SMH please update your WiFi system...

Very disappointed. Tried their pastries, and I was beyond unimpressed. Thin and crispy cherry and apple danishes for nearly $4 each, chocolate filled pastry was dry and crispy and $4, salted caramel brownie was the best thing even though it seemed undercooked, about $3 for it. You can get MUCH better baked goods at Meijer, Kroger, Quality Dairy, Sam's Club, for a fraction of the price. I mean even Starbucks and Biggby have better baked good, and desserts. The place was clean and tidy and the staff was nice. That's just not reason enough to come back. I mainly came at opening for a cannoli, which they said they wouldn't have until later in the day. I really wanted to like this place considering it's not a chain restaurant. The reviews are very misleading, or maybe they have recently changed within the last couple months. Nonetheless, I wouldn't recommend anyone to try this place.

We love Chapelure! We can't get enough of their great hospitality, divine desserts, and delicious coffee. For birthdays, their whole cakes are mouthwatering and wonderful!

A unique fusion of French and Japanese pastries, it's definitely worth a visit. The Green Tea Chiffon Cake is one of my favorite desserts! They are one of the few places that make pastries that are not sickeningly sweet. They don't need the excess sugar because the rest of the ingredients are so flavorful. This can be a good place to sit and work for a while although it tends to get pricey as you continually crave more of their tempting desserts.

A coffee shop tasty upscale baked goods and pastries and good coffee. They opened a bit later than we expected so we ended up eating breakfast at the diner across the parking lot and then went here for dessert and coffee but they do have some breakfast sandwiches.

I ordered an iced green tea having never ordered it before. I didn't like it and asked that they exchange it for a different drink and they refused saying I'd have to pay for another drink. I've never had a business not guarantee a customer is satisfied. I asked to speak to a manager and the guy said there wasn't one there at the time. He looked like he was working by himself. I'll think twice before ever coming back to this place.

Frequent visitor for the last few years. This is a pastry/coffee shop. It attracts many students. There is ample seating with power access. The pastry selection is very good. They also offer a selection of pre-made sandwiches. They normally have about 3 brewed coffee options to choose from. The staff is friendly and helpful. There are large windows around abt half the store. It gives it a bright, open feel. It is a favorite coffee and WiFi connection spot.

I love Chapelure! Amazing pastries and desserts and great coffee! There is lots of seating, but it is pretty cramped. The place is often full, but that's probably because it's so good!

Chapelure is straight up one of my favorite places to go when I want to treat myself. Their pastries are delicious, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the coffee is good. There's usually quite a (quiet) crowd of grad students studying, but it's a very low-key spot.

I love the pastries. They don't seem to be as overly sweet as most American pastries. Really delicious. Although this is mostly a coffee/pastry place, they have a small selection of teas and pre-made lunch sandwiches. Their soborus (Korean pastry) are delicious and the only place I've ever seen them in town.

*Coffee I had was okay, but the pastry is always great. Just found this place out. I'll be here often!* Since my review I have become about a weekly regular. I guess my first coffee here wasn't perfect, but I found a drink I love and I can't fault them at all. ^ 5

Prices are a bit up there but taste is guaranteed, coffees teas desserts pastries all so good!!!

This place has good coffee, amazing pastries and quiche, along with a spacious seating area. The one downside is it is pricy, but you certainly get what you pay for--it's delicious!

Consistently delicious pastries. We have begun stopping here semi-regularly for a sweet treat fix. They are always well stocked and you simply can't go wrong with whatever you choose. The service is great and the pastries are a quite large. Worth every penny! We love it here and would recommend it as one of the top pastry spots in the Lansing/East Lansing area.

The blueberry custard Danish may have been the best I've ever had

Chapelure is a very unique bakery and coffee shop. I have been a customer of theirs since my college days, when I would study in the lobby and drink coffee! I love their beautiful, delicious cakes and pastries. I recommend their cheesecake; it is light, unique, and a taste like no other.

I think they use rat dropping instead of beans. Disgusting

love the cakes but i wish they had nicer boxes for single slices instead of plastic containers. would be better looking for birthday slice gifts.

Avoid the things with fruit on top though - some kind of gelatin that unfortunately dries out really fast and gets rubbery.

The croissants with a black coffee are the reason to go. Their other bakery case items are hit or miss but usually 3-4 star quality. Overall a good fancy coffee shop.
