The teacher understands the level of each student, so it was very easy to take classes! In addition, the activities were enriched and I was able to have various experiences!

Very good school that helps you to improve your English

Without a doubt this has been the worst homestay experience in my 16 years of hosting students. I thought I would give GEOS a try but have experienced nothing but frustration especially around payment. Hosts should not have to carry student expenses for more than a week. Hosts should be remunerated one week after the student arrives not 3 weeks to a month later. Totally unacceptable.

It was a good experience and I really enjoyed it. Good method of teaching English involving the student in speaking! Thank you very much for everything!

I don t even know Russian, but I wanted to express my opinion in a foreign language, thank God we have online translators!

Having a great experience with this institute motivate me to write this review. I studied eight weeks pathway program at Geos plus Toronto.
Now I am a senior student and have just one year to get my bachelor degree from college.
I would like to appreciate all Geos teachers and staff's support, especially Olga in pathway program who helped me to find my way in my educational life.

Teachers are prepared and qualified, they always try to make their lessons interesting for student proposing discussions on actual topics. They also help you discovering the city so that you can see as much as you can during your stay

The schools are very beautiful, the students are cool and everything but I think they should be more demanding with the families they choose to participate in the exchange since many for example are not used to eating something and prepare it every day for one to take it for lunch , but the teachers and staff are good, they just have to improve in the area of family lodging ..

Be away from IELTS training, their program is NOT properly a training, it s a normal and bad (very poor) program without any mention to the real IELTS test.

I relly liked it, the teachers are funny and you can increase your level of english

Kaori is a teacher's love. The chefs are super friendly and very attentive. I have been very comfortable.

I stayed here for two weeks and i would like to still stay here. However this place is comfortable and my fantastic teacher Rodolfo involved me in lot of activity that i enjoyed so much. Thank you so much for this brief period of studying

I visited here and studied 11 months ago.
But i can not write the comment
Because i did not have account.
Finally, i can write the comment of the Geos now.
It was great and staffs were kind.
And i developed the ability of English.

I had a beautiful experience at Geos, the teachers are really nice and the school it's near to the city center so I really appreciated it.

I was years ago. An academy of 10. Very good methodology to learn and improve English. Excellent teachers and mostly natives. Various activities and very enjoyable classes. I would definitely repeat.

Unfortunately, many things were not included, which should be included. And unfortunately the class was bigger than 20 people. It was very disorganized.

Generelly this language school is very unorganized. I bought the special multi activity course for 100 a week. DONT DO IT! It s not that worth. I did 2 activitys more than a normal one without the multi activity. The activitys were not well attended. One activity i was alone!!! They are little bit boring, not that much fun. So if you calculate it, I paid 50 for 30 minutes of kart Racing.
One time they changed the time when we meet but didnt say it. So I missed this activity. I am angry that I booked it.

We were 21 pupils in one class but actually they said the maximum is 15!
The lessons are very childish, you play games, sing songs or throw around with a minion called fabiana .
students who likes talking talked a lot but stundents like me were quiet.
I learnt nothing important...
In my second week the class teacher changed and so I start learning new things. Thanks for that week. Greets to Sujoy.

The only thing that was good is the air conditioner and where the school is. It is just 2 minutes from King Station.

i come to class and relize I waste my time here. Teachers teach us like children, even worse than teachers in my home country that English is their second language. Not good for academic student.

Secondly, very poor refund policy. I told the staff that I would like to withdraw after 6 days from the started day. Specifically, I started my course on Tuesday then I informed them on next Monday, but until Thursday, they start to process my refund, then I have to pay for 2 weeks in school even I try to inform them sooner. And now, after more than 10 days I didn't receive my refund yet.

I payed $2100 for my course and received back $450 after 6 days come to class. I'm regret a lot for coming to Geos Toronto.

I really liked the time in this school, I had really good teachers who know perfectly how to teach english.

If you going to study at this place, please try to avoid "Zara" she hate her job as a teacher and give every student a hard time.

The service is not at the price level to be paid. Teachers are not native speakers and some methods are quite inadequate. In terms of funding, there were also problems with the public transport ticket and the payment of weekend departures. In short, if you want to learn English, choose another school, and you'll be grateful for the pockets and languages.

My classes at this school were horrible, I don't recommend it for Brazilian beginners in the language like me. I started in the middle of the book, it seemed that the classes had been going on for a long time, the teachers were not prepared to deal with a beginner, I had no support from the direction, I went to ask for the cancellation and they charged me an absurd fee. I lost my time.

When I first arrived to Toronto, I could barely write or speak in English. In a matter of 6 months, I improved significantly, enough to enroll in College right away without any other testing or course. Thank you GEOS teachers and staff for everything!

School without manager and impossible to talk to the owner. I do not know how it's still open. This school may have been good in the past, but now it is not good.
Today I'm relieved that I do not need to go to this school anymore. I had a terrible experience. First they put me in a bad homestay. And even through serious facts the school continued sending students to this same house. As a result all the students had to leave this dangerous home.
The school staff is very lousy. Starting from the reception. They put an extremely rude boy. This guy screams with students, made several students cry. And when you look for his superior, you will not find it. I do not know why they did not fire him.
If you love your money and your time do not attend this school. Maybe in the future they might become a good place, but at the moment I do not recommend it.
If you complain that the teacher is not teaching you, you do not use the book, or that the program you paid for is not being fulfilled they will tell you that they will try to solve it. I studied for a long time at this school and nothing was solved.
If I were the owner of this school I would dismiss all the current staff. The only teachers who are really available to teach and love to teach are: Ian, Jerina, Zara, Brian, Isela and Gabriel. Edward always joking and the school says it's his methodology. But it is not true. These are unfocused classes.
For teenagers this school tricks well. But for you who already have academic background will quickly notice that some teachers do not know the difference between method and methodology.
I tried several times to get in touch with those responsible for the school. And I've never had an email answered. I think this school needs urgent drastic changes.
Today I am in my country trying to see how I can get back the money I lost in this school. And taking medication to try to forget the bullying I suffered for one of the staff members.

I'm having a good time here. Classes are international so that's a good thing. Lessons are often focused on conversation, worldwide news and grammar. Generally positive :)

The teachers that I had where very good and I liked the people there and the atmosphere.
But the activities were not that well organized and the organization should check the host families again and mabye search for new ones.

First of all I want to thank my great English teacher, Sujoy, who has done a very good job although he always put me and my girlfriend in different groups (on purpose ). He has made the students by various methods to leave their comfort zone and become open. So there were no dominant students who have thrown the lesson alone. Everyone was involved. Personally, I've learned a lot for the everyday Canadian life through his great tips. Unfortunately, we just get him as a teacher until the second week. In the first of my two weeks we had an overfilled class of 20 students. The teacher had some other methods which took a lot of time and brought little income (in terms of my English improvement). Now we come to my original host family, which is the reason for the 4/5 stars. On the day of arrival (Sunday afternoon) my "hostmother" was not even at home. I was fortunate that one of the students, who was also in this family, did not feel well that day and stayed at home. Otherwise, I would have stood for three hours in front of a locked door. The student was super nice and also led me right through the house of the woman and showed me everything and explains. All the teamers were very nice. Overall, I enjoyed the language trip very much and it was a great experience. Sujoy for president!

Absoulutly best experience compared to other language trip organisations- get known so many people and improved my english very fast!!!

Is very good to stay here for 8 weeks. I like so much the activities , the teachers , and the students that I met .
I am very thankful to my 5 teachers. I learned
lot here , here the people are very generous .
I improved my English!!
I went to many places like the CN tower , Niagara Falls , Niagara on the lake,rogers centre etc.

At Geos I m developing my comunication, improving my skills. Zara is one of the best teachers here! The problem is her class is really chalange and some people want just easy classes. Geos chalange you so you really learn! I love this place!

God's one of the best school I've ever been. Fantastic teachers :)

My hostmother was very kind and the teachers were very funny and always motivated. But the organisation of the school was sometimes not that good. I met a lot of people and gained new friends. If i have the chance to do it again i would defenitly do it. The new experiences worth it!

One of the most beautiful experience in my life! The lessons were interesting and the staff amazing. Good organisation and a loving family... I hope I ll get back soon!!!

Goes's the best school i've been to. The teachers are amazing and they try their best to make people have fun and learn in the best way possible. I wish i could stay more. Hopefully i'll come back again!

Great school! I met new friends and I improved my english.

Involving lessons, interesting activities and helpful team. We both managed to learn grammar and to talk about "hot" topics.

I cannot comment on the quality of the teaching staff but only as a Homestay family.
If you are thinking of becoming a homestay family I would not consider this school. They are extremely disorganized, unresponsive and dismissive of feedback when provided not to mention they are tardy in paying the families. If notified of their shortcomings they will be apologetic but sadly nothing gets done to improve their operations. This school has really gone down over the last few years.
I have had repeatedly great feedback from my students so you would think they try to keep on top of their homestay families needs, especially with those where they have minimal complaints if any from students.

Again, if thinking of being a homestay family and believe me there is a huge need in the city so you really can pick and choose which school to work with I would not recommend GEOS.

Unfortunate I have to sever my ties with this school but it has become an administrative nightmare which I did not need.

Nice staff and teachers. I learned a lot during my stay! I can recommend GEOS Toronto.
